Author's POV

After getting a call from her boyfriend, Aerin quickly went to the bathroom to take a bath. Now once again, she was stuck in front of her own closet, trying to find something to wear. 'Oh come on, Han Aerin, you had a lot of clothes here, how come you could not find a pair to wear?' she thought to herself as she browsed the closet for the umpth time. No matter how many clothes she tried to match, nothing seemed right in her eyes. 'Okay Han Aerin, please calm down,' she said to herself once again and sighed then went through her clothes once again. In the end, she decided on a baby blue blouse and a white skirt. She smiled happily and closed her closet. She glanced at the clock on her desk, only to find that it was about time for her to be picked up. 'Damn, I took one hour?!' she thought as she freaked out. So she quickly put on the clothes and sat in front of her dressing table. 

While Aerin was still busy polishing herself -which surprisingly rare-, L arrived in front of her house. It was about time for them to meet, but she did not reply to his texts so he assumed that she hadn't yet finished getting ready. 'Girls sure are strange,' he thought so in the end, he decided to just wait for her while greeting her parents first. He parked his car and got off. He walked to the door and knocked on it. Not long after, the door was unlocked to reveal Mr.Han behind it. L quickly bowed and greeted him

"Good afternoon, Mr.Han," he greeted. Mr.Han smiled at him and said

"Good afternoon, come in," he gestured. L followed him and they walked to the living room, where Mrs.Han were sitting and watching TV. She realized his existance and turned around. L bowed once again and also greeted her

"Good afternoon, Mrs.Han," Mrs.Han smiled and gestured him to sit down

"Good afternoon, Myungsoo-ah. Please sit down and wait for a moment, I will call Aerin," Mrs.Han was getting ready to stand up but L quickly said to her

"There is no need for that, Mrs.Han, let her take her time, I can wait," he said while smiling

"Sure, if you said so," and they sat back on their own seats while having a small chat

Aerin finished putting a light make up and combing her hair. She looked at clock, to find that she was late for around 15 minutes. She took her phone which was lying on the desk to find some texts from L. 'Is he already here??' she thought and freaked out. She grabbed her purse and went out from her room.She went downstairs to find her parents and L chatting in the living room. Her father was the one who saw her first and he noticed the others

"There she is," so everyone turned to see her. Aerin ran toward them only to get scolded by her mom

"Yah, Han Aerin, don't run in the house," Aerin awkwardly smiled and half whispered to her

"Mom, not in front of Myungsoo, okay?" but unfortunately L heard that and he wanted to laugh but supressed it. Aerin realized it and she gave him a little glare, only to make him wanted to laugh even more

"What is this unusual appearance of yours, daughter?" now it was her father who

"Please, not you too, Dad," she whined. Her parents laughed and so did L. Afterwards, L stood up and said

"Then, we will get going," he said

"Bye, Mom. Bye, Dad," she said and waved. So they left the house and get on L's car. After putting on safety belts, the car started moving forward

"Where are we going?" she asked L. L smirked and replied 

"It's a secret~" she pouted and decided to just kept shut because she knew L would not tell her even if she pleaded. L realized it and he asked her

"Why are you silent?" he asked, but still concentrating on the street

"I know you will not tell me no matter what I do so I will just shut up and follow your lead," and L laughed because she read his mind correctly

"Yah, don't laugh at me," she said, sulking. But L kept on laughing

"You can plead right?" he said after calming down his laugh. Aerin scoffed, smirked and said

"Tch, I am too smart to know that you still won't
