Jungkook was in a bad really bad mood for the whole week. He only smiled and did some stuffs with s in front of the camera but once he settled in the room, he just sighed again and again then started cursing and stuffs.

Jin and Namjoon really get along together well. Jungkook would suddenly run onto them while they were both watching something on Namjoon’s phone then bursts out into laugher together or even while Jin were cooking and Namjoon was struggling with the onions.

The look on Jin’s face when he secretly watched Namjoon is just untranslatable and it makes Jungkook scared because he was dead sure that’s the very same look he had when he watched Jin secretly.

This is not the usual Jungkook. Jimin knows him really well to actually knows when the maknae is okay or not, when he’s faking things and smiles. He is that kind of chic maknae, pretends to be okay in front of his hyungs when he’s actually hurting a lot.

It actually hurts so much when he realized that the affections that the maknae showed during their date was faked but it actually did make him really happy for a while, once they’re at it and Jimin didn’t want to be greedy when it comes to Jungkook.

The 6 members were gathering at the living room at that time when Namjoon came with a green envelope in his hand. Everyone immediately guessed that he’s going to announce something related to their second mission.

“So guys, guess what I have here in my hands.”

“An envelope?” V acted innocent when s shot him an are-you-serious look.

“Well literally yes but no. It’s the second mission for you guys and I swear you guys are gonna love this-“

“Oh Namjoon what kind of nonsense they’ll make us do after they asked us to go on a date last week?”

“Apparently Jin hyung, you’re gonna love this too.” Namjoon flashed his dimpled smile at the oldest and Jungkook secretly rolled his eyes at that sight.

“We’re heading to the beach for the second mission!”

“Daebak, seriously?”

“Heol did you read that right?”

“OMG DID SOMEONE SAY BEAAAAAACH?”

“OMO OMO OMO JIMINNIE IT’S REALLY THE BEACH- KYAAAAAAAH!”

“Yes Jimin I did say beach- oh God there goes the combination of VMin’s high note shriek.”

Jin couldn’t hide his smile as he took the envelope from Namjoon’s hand and Jungkook’s frown eventually turned upside down. Suga and J-Hope just laughed as they watched Jimin and V who started bouncing on the couch, making Jin scold them, like usual, saying he can’t focus reading.

“What’s more to read Jin hyung, are you doubting the crew so much?” Suga asked as he realized Jin’s frown as he go through the mission card again.

“I KNEW IT I KNEW IT!” Jin’s sudden shout literally made everyone froze and 6 pairs of eyes were focused on the oldest.

“It’s the production crew’s scheme to hide the real mission. Look at what they wrote down here, like with a really small font- ugh I seriously can’t believe these people.” Jin clicked his tongue as he passed the mission card back to Namjoon.

“Ah right, forgive me guys for not realizing there’s something there- gosh they wrote it with a really small font. So it says here that the second mission is to give your partner a backhug. Oh apparently, they re-arranged the partners according to the staff’s preference.”

Jimin pouted a bit upon hearing the last sentence Namjoon said, and Jungkook’s sudden bright smile as he read the mission card to the members just hurt Jimin, making him feel like being pierced by a very sharp knife.

“Okay so the golden maknae is going to read the pairings for this week.  Suga hyung and Hopie hyung, the VMin is united this time and the last pairing is me and Jin hyung.” Jungkook directed his eyes towards s and his gaze stayed the longest at the oldest.

V who was sitting right next to Jimin hugged him tightly, not even realizing how Jimin’s expression just turned to a poker face he doesn’t usually have. Jungkook jokingly opened his arms wide for Jin, making the older laughed at him before slapping the maknae’s chest lightly. They both laughed and Jimin suddenly feels like running away from the living room right then and hide somewhere.

The members departed in different cars according to their partner’s arrangement while Namjoon joined the crews. Suga and J-Hope departed first in a red cab, leaving the two pairs waiting for their cabs.

Jimin had been avoiding Jungkook and Jin whenever they are together because it hurts him so much to see Jungkook’s bright smile that can only be seen everytime he’s with Jin. It really made him feel slightly sorry for V because these days V kept complaining about him feeling like he was talking to a statue when they’re together.

The next cab arrived and Jimin immediately pulled V towards the cab, as soon as he saw Jungkook grabbing Jin’s hand, intertwining their fingers. Jin blinked as he watched the two departing with their cab, leaving him with the maknae.
