Minseok and Jongdae came to know that their houses were very near – nine minutes walking distance apart.

Since their houses were close, the parents agreed on letting the kids visit each other often. They were more than glad for the children. While Minseok's parents were relieved that he had a playmate close by (since he was not much outgoing), Jongdae's parents were glad that he had someone from whom he could learn a lot (since he was a kid who would rather play all day and all night).

However, their happiness and relief did not last long.

Both the Kim families got along well, with the exception of the children who had declared that they were enemies. At school, if Jongdae would plan to do something, Minseok would make sure to make that plan fail. And, if Minseok planned to do something, Jongdae would always manage to make Minseok angry, and his plan would be unsuccessful eventually.

So, one weekend, the parents thought of visiting a theme park. They thought that if they took the kids out to a fun place, it would be a great opportunity for them to grow closer, since the young ones always seemed to be quarreling.

Minseok and Jongdae held each other’s hands (the parents forced them to) so that they would not lose each other in the crowd. The parents glanced behind their shoulder occasionally to check that the children were following.

The two children shuffled behind their parents silently while taking in the beautiful view of the theme park. It was their first time visiting here.

Jongdae suddenly came to a stop when he spotted a carousel. He gasped and pointed his tiny index finger at the object that had caught his attention.
