Episode 8: LuHyun Housewarming

The camera shows Luhan and Hyunae asleep in their bed at 5 in the morning.

(5:10 AM - The Dyururu couple are asleep)

Then, the camera shows two anonymous people wearing black at the front door of the LuHyun house.

MC 2: Who are these people?

They left a box by the door and faced the camera.

(What are these people doing in front of the LuHyun house?)

The two people removed their face masks and waved at the camera.

Kim Nayoung: It's the two leaders!

(Saeron: Leader of Spring Day; Kris: Leader of EXO-M)

Saeron: *whispering* We just left these two lovebirds with what they would need later. *walks with Kris*

Kris: Don't tell them about this. *snickering*

(What are the LuHyun couple going to do today?)

At 9 in the morning, Hyunae wakes up first and sits up. She rubs her eyes and spots the camera on her bedside table. She waves with a sleepy smile.

Hyunae: Good morning~.

(Bare-faced beauty Hyunae is awake)

Hyunae wakes up Luhan by shaking him gently.

Hyunae: Yeobo, ireona.

Luhan only groans in response and moves his body to the side.

Seulong: The husbands are usually the ones who are the latest to get up.

MC 1: Ne, that's right. My husband is one of them. *laughs*

(0% willpower to get up)

Hyunae sighs and shakes him some more. Luhan groans moved his head to Hyunae's lap and stayed there, trying to sleep once again.

Hyunae: Luhannie-oppa, ireona.

Luhan: *murmuring* (Sleepy) Sleep some more. It's too early.

Hyunae: We have to go out and get some groceries.

Luhan whines and doesn't get up. Hyunae looks at the camera, sighing.

(Aigoo... What am I going to do with you?)

Hyunae: Yeobo, jebalyo...

Luhan: *childishly* I don't want to get up yet. *stays in bed*

Jinwoon: Aigoo...

Hyunae sighs but gets out of bed and ties her hair up into a ponytail. She goes down and checks for leftover food in the refridgerator.

(Hyunae checks for leftover food for breakfast first to check if they need to buy groceries)

Hyunae: Ah! There's still some leftover chicken ...

Hyunae starts to take out the ingredients to make for breakfast.

(Chicken , kimchi, gochujang, rice... What will Hyunae's breakfast be?)

Meanwhile, Luhan gets out of bed and washes his face.

(Lazy Luhan is out of bed)

MC 1: Thank God, he's finally out of bed!

After washing up, Luhan goes down for breakfast. He sees Hyunae cooking breakfast and goes to sit at the breakfast bar. Luhan rests his cheek on his palm sleepily as he watches Hyunae.

Hyunae: *notices Luhan* Good morning~.

Luhan: What's for breakfast, Baobei? *hugs Hyunae from behind*

Kim Nayoung: Aw, that's every girl's dream~.

MC 2: The husband hugging the wife while she's cooking.

Hyunae: *continues to cook* Chicken and kimchi rice.

(Today's breakfast: CHICKEN AND KIMCHI RICE)

Luhan: *slightly sleepy* Eum... *lays his forehead on Hyunae's shoulder*

Jinwoon: *facepalms* Aish, jinjja. (Can't take the skinship)

MC 1: *squeals* Cute~!

Hyunae: Yeobo, don't stay in the kitchen. Sit down at the table.

Luhan: You don't want me to stay with you?

Hyunae: I'm cooking breakfast. Go sit down.

Luhan sits in the breakfast bar. He watches Hyunae cook, resting his chin on his hands.

Luhan: Baobei? (Baobei?)

Hyunae: *continues cooking* Ne? (Ne?)

Luhan: Hang in there~. (Hang in there~)

Hyunae coughs out a laugh.

(Puha!)

Hyunae: Arasseoyo~. (Arasseoyo~)

Luhan: *in English* I love you, baby~. (I love you, baby~)

Hyunae facepalms in embarrassment and laughs.

Seulong: Why is he being cute to her today?

Hyunae turns down the heat of the stove and goes to Luhan. She shakes his shoulders and refused to look at him.

Hyunae: Why are you being cute today? I'm cooking! (I'm cooking!)

Luhan chuckles.

(Do not disturb Baobei when she's cooking)

Hyunae: I'm cooking you a delicious breakfast so please wait for me~.

Luhan: Ne... Cook it with love. (Cook it with love)

Hyunae smiles before going back to the kitchen. She goes back to cooking their breakfast. PD-nim calls Luhan and the latter looks at him.

Luhan: Ne?

PD-nim: We saw a box for you outside. (A box outside!)

Luhan: Jinjjayo?

PD-nim nods and Luhan goes to get the box.

(Luhan goes to get the box)

Luhan opens the door and sees the box.

Luhan takes the box inside the house and moves it to the kitchen for Hyunae to see. Hyunae, who is almost done cooking breakfast, calls for Luhan.

Hyunae: Oppa, please get the plates and placemats and set them on the table.

Luhan: Ne.

Luhan sets up the breakfast bar by putting the placemats and plates. He also got the utensils and set them beside each plate. He sits back down at the breakfast table and waits for Hyunae to finish cooking breakfast.

Hyunae: Jjan~. *places the kimchi rice and chicken on the table*

Luhan: That looks delicious... Jalmokgetseubnida. *starts eating*

Hyunae: Ne, please eat well. *starts eating*

(Dyururu Couple enjoying a delicious breakfast)

Once they have finished eating, they washed the dishes and tucked away the placemats.

Hyunae: *notices the box* What's that?

Luhan: It was left in front of the door today.

Luhan carries the box to the living room and Hyunae follows him.

Luhan: *puts down the box* I wonder what it is...

(Mysterious box)

Hyunae: Wanna open it together?

Luhan: Geurae.

They put their hands on the box lid and Luhan's hand accidentally touched Hyunae's hand.

(Accidentally touched Hyunae's hand)

Hyunae: Ok. On three.

Luhan: Hana. (Hana)

Hyunae: Dul. (Dul)

Luhan: Set. (Set)

They open the box together.

The contents of the box were money and a mission card.

Jinwoon: What's the money for?

Hyunae takes the mission card and reads it.

Hyunae: *reads* "In order to celebrate the LuHyun couple's housewarming party, the members of Spring Day and EXO-M have prepared something special. Leaders Kris and Saeron have contributed in giving you money to buy food for nine guests and provided a table for everyone. Spend your money wisely and make delicious food for your housewarming. Put your game faces on~."

Luhan: Omo... All of them are coming.

Hyunae: Well, at least it's just EXO-M. If EXO-K also came... (If EXO-K also came...)

Seulong: EXO-K couldn't come that day.

Kim Nayoung: Waeyo?

Seulong: They were in China for their activities. (EXO-K is in China for their activities)

After agreeing on what they were going to cook for the housewarming, they took turns in taking a shower and they dressed up to go to the grocery store.

They ride the van provided to them and they go to the grocery store. Once they were finally there, they go grab a cart.

Luhan and Hyunae: Kaja~!

(Time to shop~)

Luhan: *looks at his phone* Let's see... Chicken broth (Chicken), garlic (Garlic)...

Hyunae: There's so many ingredients...

Luhan: Should we split up like in Chuncheon?

Hyunae: You get the bibimbap ingredients and I get the ingredients for the jjigae?

They scurry off in their separate ways to get the ingredients.

MC 1: They really are a young couple. They compete with each other.

Kim Nayoung: Especially when preparing a housewarming party.

Hyunae scurries to get a basket. Once she has gotten a basket, she goes to get the ingredients for the jjigae. She gets the dry ingredients first.

(Hyunae starts grabbing ingredients)

She gets the sausages, spam, kimchi vegetables and noodles, which are needed for one big pot of jjigae.

Hyunae: Yosh... (Yosh...)

Then, Hyunae checks if there is any chicken broth.

Hyunae: Chicken broth... *in English* Where are you? (Where are you?)

(Hyunae starts talking in English)

Hyunae sees the packets of chicken broth.

(Bingo~)

Hyunae: *in English* Oh, hello~. (Oh, hello~)

Jinwoon: When idols like Hyunae (Idols who grew up in other countries) are stressed at the moment, they start speaking another language.

MC 2: Ne... It's noticeable. I hope Hyunae gets the ingredients in time~.

Hyunae gets enough packets of chicken broth.

(Acquired the chicken broth)

Meanwhile, Luhan got the vegetables for the bibimbap.

(I must not let Hyunae win)

Luhan: I just need some meat now...

Luhan goes to the meat section and there he sees Hyunae going to the meat section as well.

Luhan: Baobei~.

Hyunae notices him and widens her eyes.

Hyunae turns around and scurries to where the pork is.

Seulong: Spotted by enemy! (Spotted by enemy!)

Jinwoon: Retreat! (Retreat!) Retreat! (Retreat!)

MC 1: What are these kids doing? *rolls her eyes at Jinwoon and Seulong*

(Choding-deul in MBC studio)

Luhan: *laughs* I better get the beef quickly.

Luhan gets some beef from the butcher and goes to Hyunae, who is still getting some pork belly.

Hyunae: *notices Luhan and jumps* Kkamjjagiya!

Luhan: Are you almost done?

Hyunae: Eo. Don't tell me that after this conversation, you're going to run to the cashier.

Luhan: Aniya. What should be the punishments?

Hyunae thinks for a while.

Hyunae: If I win (If Hyunae wins), you will act cute to everyone for an hour in the housewarming party (Luhan acts cute to everyone for an hour).

Luhan: Yah...

Hyunae: I already swore it.

Luhan: Geurae. If I win (If Luhan wins), I get a kiss from you (He gets a kiss from Hyunae).

Hyunae: (Shocked) Yah...

Luhan: *mockingly* I already swore it.

(Baobei's words are thrown back at her)

Hyunae finally gets her pork belly. She and Luhan walk slowly away from each other and once they were away from each other, they start scurrying to the cash register.

(The endgame is near!)

The LuHyun couple were near the cash register and Luhan was able to reach first followed by Hyunae.

(LUHAN WINS!)

Seulong: He's going to get his kiss!

MC 1: *squeals* Which, I hope, happens soon.

Hyunae looks at Luhan with a disappointed expression.

(Sulky Hyunae)

Luhan gives Hyunae a shoulder hug to comfort her.

Luhan: Come on. Let's pay for the groceries.

They paid for their groceries and went back to their house.

(Time to get home!)

Hyunae: Where do you want to be kissed?

Luhan: *smirking* I'd like it on the lips. (On the lips~)

Hyunae rolls her eyes as she takes out the groceries.

Kim Nayoung: The in-laws are probably going to make them kiss.

They help each other in placing the groceries in the refridgerator and in the cupboards. After organizing the groceries, Hyunae and Luhan sat down on the piano bench. As promised, Hyunae was teaching him how to play the piano.

Hyunae: Ok, play the notes again.

Luhan presses the piano keys as how Hyunae taught him.

Hyunae: Good~.

Then, Luhan's phone rang. He picks it up and answers it.

Luhan: Yobuseyo?

Caller: Hyung! (Hyung!)

Luhan: Chen-chen! (Namdongsaeng Chen~) Wae?

Chen: We'll be going to your house at 6pm. (We'll be going to your house at 6pm.)

Luhan looks at the clock that read 5pm.

Luhan: Arasseo. We'll start cooking now. Also, tell everyone to bring some food too so we'll have a lot. (Bring some more food too!)

Chen: Ne, hyung. (Ne, hyung~.) Get cooking now. Bye! (Get cooking now. Bye~!)

Luhan says goodbye before hanging up.

Hyunae: Kaja, oppa. Let's cook.

The husband and wife start to cook the meals for their in-laws. Luhan helps Hyunae put on her apron and he puts on his. Luhan starts preparing the rice for the bibimbap and Hyunae prepares the ingredients for both dishes.

(The LuHyun couple start to cook the family dinner~!)

The bibimbap ingredients are prepared and Hyunae started to add in the prepared ingredients in the two pots of boiling chicken stock for the budae jjigae. While the stew was cooking, Hyunae goes to help Luhan cook the ingredients for the bibimbap.

Hyunae: Did you already put cooking oil in the pan?

Luhan: Eo.

Hyunae: Stir fry the carrots first. (Step 1: Cook carrots)

Luhan: *puts the carrots in the pan* Ok... *stir fries the carrots with a wooden spoon*

Hyunae: Be careful not to burn them and stir them like this. *guides Luhan's hand in stir frying the carrots* (Be careful not to burn them!)

(Holding his hand)

As soon as the carrots were done, Luhan pours them on a plate next to the spinach and soybean sprouts. He goes to cook the rest of the side dishes just as how Hyunae taught him.

(He's a fast learner.)

After plating the cooked side dishes, Luhan sees Hyunae concentrated on cooking the budae jjigae. He smirks and goes to Hyunae. He sneakily hugs her from behind and rests his chin on her shoulder.

MC 2: Oh my God (Oh my God), he really wants the kiss, doesn't he?!

Jinwoon: Calm down, Luhan. *laughs*

Hyunae: Be patient or you won't get your kiss. (Wait for my kiss, Yeobo!)

Luhan: *in a rather ily husky voice* Juseyo~... (Juseyo~)

Kim Nayoung: Omo, why is his voice so hot? (Noona fan Kim Nayoung is melting)

CANDID INTERVIEW

Int.: Are you really that impatient for your kiss?

Luhan: If she doesn't want to kiss me, it's fine. I'm not going to force her (Luhan is a gentleman to his wife). I just wanted to . *chuckles* (Kekekekeke~)

Int.: Are you going to give Luhan a kiss?

Hyunae: *tilts her head and looks up as if she was thinking* (Hmm...)

Hyunae: I'm too shy. (I'm too shy.) *laughs* I would've given him one on the cheek but if it's on the lips... I don't know if would kiss him because everyone would be watching me. *covers her face in embarrasment*

Hyunae: *rolls her eyes playfully and pats Luhan's cheek* No kiss just yet. (No kiss just yet~)

Luhan: I'll wait~. *hugs Hyunae tighter* (I'll wait~)

MCs and guests: *squeals*

Seulong: The skinship! (LuHyun's skinship makes Seulong shrink to the floor)

Once the stew was nicely cooked and the bibimbap for their guests were plated, Hyunae took a spoon with the stew's soup and fed it to Luhan.

(How is it?)

Luhan: *eyes lighting up* Masisseo~. (It's good~!)

Hyunae: Glad you like it~.

Then, the doorbell rang.

Hyunae: They're here! (They're here!)

Luhan rushed to the door and opened it. There were the rest of EXO-M and Spring Day.

(The family is here!)

Spring Day and EXO: Annyeonghaseyo~. *bows*

Luhan: *bows* Annyeonghaseyo~. Come in. *makes way for them*

The guests entered and Chen went to Luhan.

Chen: We bought some soda. (Soda for everyone)

Luhan: Good thing you didn't buy soju.

Chen: I nearly did.

The two laugh together.

(Chen nearly bought alcohol)

Luhan: Yah, we can't get drunk during filming! (WARNING: Don't drink while filming!)

Chen: Marriage is now making you more responsible. *laughs*

(The deer is slowly becoming a man)

The table and chairs in the patio was set up by the staff and the members of EXO-M and Spring Day sat in their chairs. The bibimbap and the budae jjigae were brought in and served.

Tao: Wah... *stares at the food* That looks delicious~.

Chohee: Our yeodongsaeng and hyungbu-nim worked hard.

(Delicious Dyururu Meal~)

Once the food, drinking glasses and bowls for the stew have been served, Luhan and Hyunae sat down.

All: Jalmokgetseubnida. (Thank you for the meal~)

Then, everyone eats their meals.

MC 1: I'm hungry now...

The family eat their meals heartily.

Lay: Hyungsoo-nim can really make a simple dish really good.

Hyunae: Actually, Luhan cooked the bibimbap.

Kris: Jinjja? Are you sure he didn't burn the kitchen?

Luhan: Eyyy... Hajima. Hyunae-yah helped me.

Xiumin: *quietly* Thank God...

Luhan: Why are you all doubting my cooking skills?

Jessamine: You've done well, though. (Supportive Sister-in-law #1 Jessamine)

Jessamine: Hyunae's a good teacher.

Hyunae smiles at Jessamine's compliment.

Hyunae: *to EXO-M* Who do you like out of Spring Day? (Who does EXO-M like out of Spring Day?)

Lay: Who we like out of Spring Day?

Hyunae: Ne, but not including me. (Not including Hyunae)

Xiumin: How about each of us say a member?

Hyunae: Please~. (Go ahead~) I want to know.

The five remaining members of EXO-M think about their favorite Spring Day member.

Xiumin: I like Natsuki-ssi. (Xiumin chooses Natsuki)

Natsuki points at Xiumin with an approving look.

Saeron: Natsuki looks so pleased right now.

Luhan: Why Natsuki?

Xiumin: I admire the way she is hyper and lively. I'm not usually like that. (Xiumin likes Natsuki's lively personality.)

It was now Lay's turn to say his favorite member.

Lay: My favorite member is... Saeron-ssi. (Saeron~) She's smart and she can play the guitar.

Saeron: Kamsahabnida~. *smiles*

Luhan: Now... Chen?

(Chen's turn!)

Chen: I also like Natsuki. (Another point for Natsuki!)

Natsuki stands up with her arms raised victoriously and sits back down.

Jinwoon: Natsuki is also famous when EXO talks about Spring Day.

Kim Nayoung: She look too pleased now. *chuckles*

Hyunae: No one has picked Jessamine-eonni and Chohee-eonni yet.

(Poor unpretty eonni-deul)

MC 2: Chohee-yah, I'd pick you anytime.

The two unpicked members of Spring Day playfully pouted and hugged each other in comfort.

(At least we still have each other~)

Kris: I pick Jessamine. (Kris picks Jessamine)

Luhan: Wae?

Kris: She's adorable. (Kris likes the adorable Jessamine)

Jessamine chuckles shyly at Kris's answer.

MC 2: Eyyy... What's that chuckle all about?

MC 1: Omo... Another Spring Day/EXO pairing? (Another Spring Day/EXO pairing?)

(Jessamine is touched by Kris's lovely words)

Tao: I pick Chohee-noona... Because no one else picked her.

Chohee's expectant smile turned into a frown, making everyone laugh.

(Sigh...)

Seulong: Tao is so honest. *laughs*

Jinwoon: He picked Chohee out of pity. *laughs* (Mianhae, chingu-yah~)

MC 1: You really are a good friend to Chohee. *chuckles*

Tao: *chuckles* Mianhaeyo, noona~.

Chohee just shook her hands with Tao in a disheartened manner playfully.

Chohee: At least someone picked me.

After another few moments of laughs and eating merrily, Kris and Saeron proposed a toast to the married couple's housewarming.

Saeron: Yeorobun, let's all raise a glass to Luhan and Hyunae.

Kris: May they have a fruitful marriage and that there will be no problems that would break them apart but instead make them stronger.

Everyone: Geonbae~! (Cheers~)

Everyone took a sip of their sodas and then Chen proposed something else.

Chen: LuHyun love shot! (Love shot~)

Luhan: Jigeum?

Chohee: Come on. Do it!

The rest cheered for them to do a love shot. Seeing that there is no harm to doing that, Luhan and Hyunae casually linked their arms together and drank from their glasses.

(Love shot~)

After the love shot, they decided to sit down and chat for a while before cleaning up.

Jessamine: *suddenly asking* Have you two kissed already?

Hyunae: *surprised* Mwo? Ani.

Luhan: Aniyo... I kissed her on the forehead and cheek but not on the lips.

Saeron: You two are married now and you seem comfortable with each other.

Luhan: Well... I about it because we had a bet.

MC 1: Here it is...

Seulong: The in-laws will make them kiss.

Xiumin: What bet?

Hyunae: We were racing. Whoever gets the groceries fast and reaches the cash register first gets a wish from the loser and I lost. Luhan-oppa asked for a kiss on the lips from me and he was bugging me about it.

Luhan: I was only teasing you, Baobei~. *smiles affectionately*

Hyunae: *rolls her eyes playfully* Yeah right.

The in-laws chuckle at the bickering married couple.

Saeron: It's time Hyunae kisses him. It doesn't have to be on the lips.

Natsuki: Are you alright with that, Hyunnie?

Hyunae: Ne. (Ne.)

(The kiss will come!)

Luhan widens his eyes and the in-laws are watching the scene intently. Hyunae held his face tenderly and kissed him at the corner of his lips shortly but sweetly.

(Chu~)

MC 1: *screams in delight* (I can't take it anymore!)

Jinwoon: Mwoya?! (MWOYA?!)

EXO-M and Spring Day coo at the couple's skinship and cheer for them.

CANDID INTERVIEW

Int.: Where did you kiss Luhan?

Hyunae: *points at the corner of her lips* Here.

Kim Nayoung: It wasn't exactly on the lips but she still kissed him there.

Int.: You were shy before but what made you want to kiss him.

Hyunae: I didn't feel obliged to kiss him because of the bet nor did I feel forced to do it. *shyly* I wanted to kiss him simply out of affection. (Hyunae wanted to kiss Luhan)

Int.: What did Hyunae's kiss feel like?

Luhan: I felt like I could fly~. (I felt like I could fly~) I was also a bit concerned because, like I said, I don't want to force her and make her feel that she was obliged to kiss me because of the bet and the fact that she's my wife.

(The long-awaited LuHyun kiss happened~)

The housewarming party went on and when it was late, EXO-M and Spring Day went home after bidding the couple goodbye.

OFF CAMERA

He touched the corner of his lips gently and smiled at the thought of her kissing him there. His heart was beating fast and there was a fluttering feeling in his stomach. As he fell asleep, he dreamt of her.

And she was dreaming of him too out of happiness and an unknown pleasant feeling.

CHINGUS, I AM BACK FROM MY LONG- HIATUS!

I'm really sorry for putting this story on draft mode for a long time. I wanted to edit the story because there were some parts that I wasn't happy with. So I edited it and I added a new chapter. Yay!

I'm sorry that it took me a long time to come back. I'm back at school and I'm working on keeping my grades from failing (even if it's still the first semester because my education is important to me). I have a life outside of Asianfanfics and I know all of you do as well. And I'm thankful that I don't have any homework today so that I could finish this chapter.

Also, I've been dealing with personal problems lately that I needed to cool off and recover so I hope you understand.

I originally wanted it to be like a bit later and it would be a full-on kiss but I decided that it would be on this chapter. However, it's not a full-on kiss. Just something to tickle the feels~.
