"You hugged?"

"Yeah."

"You hugged him?"

"Yes."

"You..Hugged him?"

"Mhmm."

"You hugged.. Him?"

"YES DAMN IT I HUGGED HIM." 

"Ohh.. YAY!!"

"Crazy.."

Ding!

"Oh Chanyeol's here! Yay!!!" I was at Baekhyun's apartment again. It was actually his birthday and we were having a mini celebration. I greeted Chanyeol as he came in. When I bowed, I saw a tiny body hiding behind Chanyeol's huge mass. 

"Kyungsoo?"

"Ah.. Hi.."

"YAY you came! Kai I told Chanyeol to bring Kyungsoo with." Baekhyun smiled from ear to ear because Kyungsoo had come with. He's all about helping people out and I guess this was a way for him to help us a little.

Now I didn't have any problem with Kyungsoo being there, but it was a school day. Us three, Chanyeol Baekhyun and I were skipping school, but Kyungsoo? We were cool with getting a detention and it being put in our record, but Kyunsoo? I mean.. Kyungsoo? 

"Why are you skipping school? This isn't going to look good on your college application." Again, my tone came out harsh on accident while I tried to show concern. 

"Well..." Kyungsoo stared at his feet and fiddled with his fingers. He was obviously nervous to be here, out of his comfort level and also scared out of his mind to be skipping school. He pen ably thought he was going to get arrested. 

"Come on, we should get you back."

"D-do you not want me here?"

"Kyung it's not that, but your college application-"

"Are you okay I'm here?"

"Yeah but still if you want a full ride-"

"Do you want me here?"

"...of course but that's not what I'm-"

"Then I want to stay." Kyungsoo looked up and met my eyes, trying to read my face. I sighed and jokingly nudged his shoulder,

"Alright you rebel." I gave him a small smile, and he gave me a huge grin.

"But be careful when you go by a police station.." I leaned in a whispered,

"They'll arrest you."

"I knew it!" Kyungsoo exclaimed and gave me a serious look, 

"Then we have to be careful."

"Mmhm." I nodded my head but I couldn't help but laugh at his silly logic. I was obviously joking, but he didn't know. It did make me a little sad to think about the fact that he didn't know I was joking because he wasn't around me enough. But I didn't have to force a smile this time. Seeing his cute hopeful expression then his serious worried face made me happy, it's not that he wanted to skip school but he wanted to hang out with me. I mean.. us. 

"Great!" Baekhyun jumped in and hugged us all. He was always so joyful I wondered everyday how he was able to put up with a bitter hearted grouch like me. 

"Happy birthday Baekhyun!" Kyungsoo did an awkward bow and gave him a small gift. 

"You're so cute! Thanks Kyungsoo! Why can't Kai be as cute as you?" 

"Heh.." Kyungsoo shrugged as Baekhyun took his gift. 

"Yah. I'm cute."

"..AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAA CHANYEOL HAHAHAHAHAA KYUNGSOO HAHAHA KAI THINKS HE'S CUTE.. Wow Kai, that was funny.. Oh... You're serious.." 

"I am cute. I am very very cute."

"Okay Kai."

"I am ing ADORABLE." 

"Yeah.." Everyone looked at Kyungsoo, 

"Eh?! I meant yeahhhhhhh..." He changes his tone to be more sarcastic. 

"Aww 10 second younger brother thinks grouchy older brother is cute." Chanyeol poked Kyungsoo's squishy cheeks, making us all laugh. 

"So what do you want to do today Baekhyun?" We all sat down in his living room, Baek next to Chanyeol and Kyungsoo next to me. 

"Well, I have the whole day planned out! Okay, so it's about 8:00 right now. I want to go out and eat at the small cafe we used to go to for breakfast. Then go shopping at the market and get street food for lunch. Then we'll go and do noraebong (karaoke).." When I looked at Chanyeol, he was almost about to burst out in laughter from Baekhyun's crazy day. But when I looked at Kyungsoo, he was showing a small, caring smile. Chanyeol and Kyungsoo are best friends and I guess I was a little excited to see how Kyungsoo acts around people other than me. 

"Then after the aquarium, we'll go to my work and drink and grill pork belly for dinner.. With discount!!" 

"Now that part sounds great!" Chanyeol ruffled Baekhyun's hair. 

"Aww Baek you're going to get wasted again.."

"Come on Kai, it's my birthday."

"Yesterday wasn't your birthday and you still were wasted."

"Hey! You know what!? You still reek of soju. Did you even shower? Ya nasty."

"Haha.." Everyone's eyes shot to Kyungsoo who just gave off the smallest chuckle. He immediately erased his smile and sat frozen. It's not that we were mad he laughed, just surprised. 

"Kyungsoo... It's okay to laugh you know.." I patted his knee and smiled at him. When I looked up, Chanyeol and Baekhyun were eyeing us. 

"What?" Baek lifted his eyebrow and shrugged in a 'hmm I dunno' kind of way. 

"Okay! Let's leave around 8:30. I gotta shower quick." Baekhyun left us three in the living room while he showered. We could hear him singing at the top of his lungs- and honesty he wasn't that bad. Every time we did noraebong, he'd force us to sing at least one song and we'd battle. Usually we were wasted and he'd win, but with Kyungsoo this time I was a little unsure. Chanyeol and I were having a small conversation when Kyungsoo suddenly called me,

"Hyung?"

"hahha and h- oh yeah?"

"You were drinking last night?" Uhh.

"Yeah a little, why?"

"Were you drunk?"

"He was hella drunk."

"I was not! I can hold my liquor, don't be an Chanyeol." I gave him a warning look because I knew what Kyungsoo must have been thinking.

"I'm going to go check on Baekie.." Chanyeol left us alone and thank the lord for that. 

He must have thought the hug was an action of being drunk, but it wasn't. 

"Kyungsoo I wasn't drunk last night but yes, I was drinking."

"Oh ok." His expression had fallen a little, damn Kyungsoo. Why do you have to assume the worst?

"Hey," when his round eyes flickered up to mine, I subconsciously thought, 'are we really twins?' His eyes were so large, large to express his big emotions. Mine were more narrow and mysterious and harder to read. 

"I promise nothing I did last night was under the influence of alcohol. Maybe it gave me a boost but I assure you, I knew exactly what I was doing." Kyungsoo's whole face blushed and he seemed to become jittery again. I patted his head and just had to smile a little at his cute body language. 

"Let's go everyone! I am ready!" Kyungsoo and I stood up and we walked out the door. We decided to drive, Baekhyun and Chanyeol in the front with Kyungsoo and I in the back. 

 

"Ready to order?" 

"Yes! I'll get the..." We were inside a cafe which was located on the corner of a small strip mall. 

This was Baekhyun and my place. 

We'd come here all the time as teens. I used to work here as a dish boy and get free ice cream so I'd always share some with Baek. Even though it was just 3 years ago when we were 14, everything seemed to have changed and I felt so much older than I was. We all sat inside a small circle booth in the corner. Baekhyun and Kyungsoo were in the inside, Baekhyun by Chanyeol and Kyungsoo by me. We ate and laughed, talked about old times and also just talked nonsense. For the first time, I was able to see some of Kyungsoo's true character. He was still shy and reserved, but I learned he had a great humor and was always eager to be engaged in a good conversation. He was also pretty funny himself. Kyungsoo was one of those people who were able to make anything into a funny joke and bring it up at the most random moments to make everyone laugh. I realized Kyungsoo was a people person even though I spent all my life thinking he wasn't; he just needed a chance to break out of his comfort zone. I paid for Kyungsoo and Chanyeol paid for Baekhyun, then we left. We went to the mall and walked around aimlessly for hours until Baekhyun finally made up his mind on what he wanted to do. He decided that we would all buy weird, out of the norm clothes to sing noraebong in. We split up and looked alone so we could surprise each other with whatever the hell we found. I decided it was senior year and I was going to go nuts. I bought an outfit that was covered in gold sparkles; I mean covered. The shirt was a sleeveless V neck, covered in gold, and the pants were leather like material but also very, very sparkly. I also bought some equally sparkly black boots and hair gel- gotta go all out. The sparkles would rub off on my hand as I tried to hold it so I gave up in the end and just let myself look like a fairy. 

"Hey! Kai!" Baekhyun yelled at me from outside another store. Kyungsoo was with him, so I assumed Baekhyun had helped him out since he had no clue what to get.

"Damn you're sparkly."

"Are you a fairy hyung?"

"Hah. Are you a princess, Kyungsoo?" 

"Psht. No.."

We found Chanyeol, put our secret costumes in his car, and headed to the streets to get lunch. 

 

We bought hot Teokbolkki and fresh kimbab, but Kyungsoo and bought our weakness to share- spicy ramen. I guess that's another thing we have in common, our love for the unhealthy, fattening food, ramen. The weather was getting a little chilly so we zipped up our jackets an headed down the road to sing noraebong. We brought or costumes inside with us and changed one by one, zipping our jackets on top to try and conceal the secret.

"Okay ready!? One, two, three!" 

Zip! 

Our jackets fell to the ground and immediate laughter filled the room. 

Chanyeol was dressed as a fire fighter, hat, little axe and all. Baekhyun was a school nurse.. Tiny dress and all. I couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous he looked. When I looked at Kyungsoo, my eyes almost died from cuteness overload. 

He was dressed as pikachu.. Tiny tale, red cheeks and all. He had the costumes' hood up- which had two ears. Baekhyun was squealing with excitement. 

"OMG Kai! You look so hot. Even I might date you."

"Hey. Boyfriend in the room."

"Hahahahaha!!! I'm kidding!!" 

"Wow Kyungsoo." We took a seat on the couch while Baekhyun prepared his song. 

"You look r-"

"Shut up..."

"Haha what?" 

"I feel so dumb!" He was death gripping the edge of the couch and his cheeks grew even more red- which was hard to do since he was totally pika-fied.

"I was just gonna say you look cute, kyung." 

"Shut up!" Kyungsoo beaned me with a pillow from the couch, making us both smirk. 

"You look good too, Hyung."

"I said you looked cute not good."

"Eh?!" His eyes bulged out of his face, 

"Then you look cute too!" Kyungsoo blurted out a little too excitedly,

"Errrr I mean.. Well I just mean because you said-"

"Kyungsoo, mhh.." I chuckle to myself,

"Calm down, you look good to." I patted his little pikachu head and smiled. I was friends touching my brother.  

'Wow, this is so weird' I thought to myself.

"ARE YOU READY?!" Baekhyun had cranked out Girl's Generation's 'The Boys' and actually sang it fairly well, well as good as a 18 year old boy could sing it. 

"WOOO!" We all cheered and clapped once he was finished. Chanyeol cranked out a F(X) song and I then did 2NE1's 'I am The Best' because hah, I am. -insert hair flip-

It was actually quite enjoyable. Kyungsoo was laughing so hard, it was a really nice surprise to me, that he was smiling. Lastly was Kyungsoo who took out an EXO song, Baby Don't Cry. 

He stood, facing us and when he opened his mouth, all our hearts stopped beating. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Hehehe I know~" oh lord. I rolled my eyes,

"But Hyung!" 

"But what!? Do you want to die?" 

"Hmmm..YES!" 

"Crazy.." It was almost one in the morning by the time I dropped Chanyeol and Baekhyun off. It was Chanyeol's car, so after I dropped him off I left his car and lifted Kyungsoo onto my back. 

"Hey. PUT ME DOWN!" 

"No."

"Put. Me DOWN!" Kyungsoo smacked my . 

"Fine!" I set him down but bursted out laughing when he took two steps, then tripped. I quickly wrapped my arms around him and picked him up bridal style and continued walking home. This time he didn't fight and just closed his eyes. 

"Mmm.." Kyungsoo was totally out of it, murmuring nonsense. Once we got home, I changed out of my sparkles into pajamas but decided to leave Kyungsoo in his pajama like pikachu outfit because one, I was lazy and two, he was so darn cute. Turning the lights out, I laid in bed, pulling the half conscious Kyungsoo close to me. 

"Hehe.."

"What's so funny?" Kyungsoo's head was almost touching my chest. 

"Can I tell you a secret?" After the angry, crazy effect died down, Kyungsoo was a cute little drunk.. Not to be weird, but he was, all giggly and bubbly. 

"Sure." 

"Okay.. But-"

"Wait one second!" I quickly rolled over and grabbed my phone, pulled up the video camera and started filming. I couldn't wait to show him in he morning. 

"Okay, ready."

"Okay... But.. You have to promise something.." His words were all slurred and his eyes were closed, he had no clue what he was saying. 

"What is it?"

"You can't tell Kai.." Or who he was saying it too. 

"Who's Kai?" I smirked while I filmed. 

"He's my.. My twin brother hehe.."

"And why can't I tell him?"

"What?!" He randomly lashed out and then calmed down again,

"Why can't I tell Kai?"

"Because then.. Hah Maybe he wouldn't want to talk to me.. And that um.. That would be bad. Yeah that would be bad.."

"Why would your secret make him not talk to you?"

"Because silly.. I'm in love with him. Hehe that's why.." Kyungsoo giggled and rolled around in bed, 

"Silly silly..." Then he rolled back to me and whispered in my ear,

"So, promise you won't tell anyone?"

"Y..yeah." I stopped video taping and laid there wide awake.

He's drunk, he doesn't know what he's saying right? 

"I don't think you know what you're saying.."

"Nope! I do.. I do.."
