Pairing: Hyoyeon x Kai

Prompt: [Quote] Marriage is a mosaic you build with your spouse. Millions of tiny moments that create your love story

This quote really challenged me. Because it's only a short story, I can't possibly build up a whole lifetime's story of a couple. So I thought I'd keep it simple -- and was inspired by what I think a love story these cute kids could have.

1. I hated losing my family 

'Kim Hyoyeon, if you walk out the door tonight, you are GONE from this family. GONE! Do you hear me?' Hyoyeon's father bellowed, the vein in his neck near to popping at his complete anger.

Senator Kim's eldest daughter was about to throw away an influencial marriage alignment to one of the heirs to a business conglomerate and for what-- a good-for-nothing dancer who would not be able to put food on the table-- he wouldn't allowed it. He simply wouldn't allow it.

'I'm sorry that you feel that way father,' Hyoyeon was devastated, but just was set.

Usually, she was known for being the impulsive daughter. Kicking and screaming and showing a temper similar to her father's. But this time it was different, and she knew that her usual tactics wasn't going to work. She turned around and kept the tears from falling down her face, and walked up the impressive staircase to her room to pack.

'Unnie!! Unnie!! Don't listen to him, he's just angry now-- you can apologise later and I'm sure he'll accept it. Unnie, give him time,' Funnily enough, it was now her younger sister Seohyun's turn to show desperation.

'I'm sorry Seohyun-ah, I'm so sorry,' was all she said, shaking her sister's arm off.

She stopped climbing the stairs. Suddenly she didn't want anything in her room. She just wanted to get out of there.

'Unnie!!! Don't leave... please!'

She hugged her sister one last time, 'I'm sorry, Seohyun-ah,' she kissed her on the forehead, finally relinquishing her hold. 

It was Hyoyeon's last time in the Kim Mansion.

2.  I hated being useless

'Welcome home,' Hyoyeon barely looked up from what she was doing as he kissed her on the forehead.

Kai sighed, dropping down next to her-- his wife. How did this happen? He was only 20 years old and everyone told him he was being foolish, to take on the little rich girl, when he didn't even have any means to take care of himself. 

But what was even more annoying was that she wasn't the useless one. He watched her remorsefully, as she carefully sewed on eyes onto little teddy bears. A thankless job, but one which helped pay the bills. It wasn't her only contribution either, she'd let down her pride and worked during the daytime hours at a family restaurant near Myeongdong station.

He was the one who came home day after day, unable to find a job.

'Do you want something to eat?' she asked him with a tired smile.

'I'll get it myself,' he touched her lightly on the shoulder.

3. I hate that I'm scared

Hyoyeon clawed at Kai's shoulder, gritting her teeth and squeezing her eyes shut so hard that tears involuntarily started to drip out of them.

'Come on Hyo, push, sweetheart,' Kai didn't think of the pain, he knew it was nothing compared to what she was feeling. He wanted so much to take some of that pain away so that they could carry the burden together, but he knew that wasn't the case. His amazing wife had to do it on her own.

'Kai, I'm scared. I'm so scared,' Hyoyeon confessed, 'I don't know if I can do this.'

'Baby, I know you can. You're amazing, we'
