Brown tousled hair, black skinny ripped jeans, low v-neck cut and eyes searching for a particular figure in a crowd, a gentle smile appears on his lips when he sees a banner with his name on it, and the person waving at him.

He lifts his hands up and waves his hands.

"Hyung!" He sees the figure slowly approaching him, a warm smile on his face. "Welcome back, sungyeol-hyung!"

"I'm back, jaehwan-ah." He younger flashes him a smile because sungyeol changed. In a good way of course, he looked like he had freedom with his sun kissed skin to his beaming smile, Jaehwan missed him.

“I missed you” Jaehwan gives him one last look before engulfing him in a hug, sungyeol almost immediately hugs him back, patting the younger’s head in the process as the camera flashes goes crazy. Sungyeol had expected this anyway; jaehwan had to drive himself after a photo shoot so he was, in fact, a little over dressed.

“I missed you more, Jae” Sungyeol starts, “I could see the tabloids now ‘Lee Jaehwan of VIXX, crying” he chuckles.

“I’m not crying” Jaehwan pulls back, pouting. “I’m just happy to see you. It’s been so long..”

“And I’m happy to see you, too.” Sungyeol grins. "But sadly, it's my first day of classes."

"But hyung, you just got here" Jaehwan pouts. "Can't you just skip?"

Sungyeol throws him a grin. "Can't. Paperworks and stuff."

Myungsoo should have known.

He should have known that something was bound to happen when the cup he was holding earlier broke when he lifted it from the table. Or when he almost drop his car keys early in the morning down the toilet (he had to fish it out of the toilet with a god damned stick, pouring the whole of the alcohol content on it and now he understands why keys are waterproof—thank heavens, and drying it with a blower.) Or when his shoelace, for some unknown reason, was cut in half just when he was about to leave the apartment.

Myungsoo should have known that something was bound to happen when his father tapped him at the back last week and an "it's time to meet an old friend, I will be back in a month, you're mom will follow me after a week." Or when his father had told him that he as in myungsoo himself will be talking business matters with someone next week (meaning: this week, tomorrow, after his class.)

He should have known the signs of a bad omen.

He should have known.

Or maybe he did know but he chose to ignore it because what could happen in his perfectly peaceful—albeit stressful—life? Top it off, that his father and mother would be leaving the country for a month.

He was as free as a bird.

But yeah, myungsoo was myungsoo.

And he really should have followed his guts to skip the first day of class.

Or the whole semester or the whole year.

Really.

Myungsoo takes his ipod off the charger before looking at himself in the mirror one last time. Jet black hair, black low V-cut, skin tight jeans with boots.

Simple and perfect. Just like he is.

He was in college a sophomore taking up business. He decided he wanted to take this up, aside from it being fun, it also benefits him since he would inherit his dad’s work.

He takes the keys off the counter before going out of his condo unit that he had asked the start of college, when he was in first year, for his graduation gift where it's just an 8 minute drive to his school.
