Chapter “1”: Getting Ready:

Two Silver Moons' Love

Natalya and her younger sister Sophia had decided to learn Korean language and then work as managers for new Korean entertainers and help them to be popular in Korea, their mother’s homeland and their father’s home country Russia as well as his second home Egypt. Their father was Egyptian Russian while their mother was Korean.

They’ve managed to learn few Korean statements thanks to their mother’s phonics book she used as a teacher to help them while living there.

But before going to Korea they would go to Egypt first to meet with their father’s relatives. These two ladies were unfortunately orphans; lost their parents in a car crash 5 years ago.

Natalya: “Sophie, wake up dear. It’s time for us to leave for the airport,” said Natalya trying to wake up her little sister.

Sophia: “…..”

Natalya: “Sophia-Asya Korbov, you have 5 minutes before tackling will start,” said Natalya sternly.

Sophia: “10 more minutes Unnie. I feel so tired,” whined Sophia cutely.

Natalya: “And whose fault is that exactly? Nobody told you to stay up that late last night, watching some anime!,” exclaimed Natalya.

“Natty Unnie, that “some anime” was awesome. It was “Naruto” and no one can resist watching it, and so do you,” chuckled Sophia doing some ayego*.

Natalya sighed and decided to give up arguing with her younger sister. Besides, she admits to herself that she can neither resist her sister’s cuteness nor “Naruto”.

“Come on, get up. We’ve to get ready. You know we’re gonna have two flights and we’ve only two days to visit mom’s family before heading to Korea,” said Natalya.

“Okay, okay, I will. Oh god, I feel so tired of these two flights already and still need to pack,” sighed Sophia.

“Pack? And what do you take me for little sis? I packed everything we need yesterday after you had finally slept,” said Natalya proudly.

“Wait? What? When? Didn’t you sleep earlier than me?,” said Sophia surprised.

“Hehe, I used some magic to do so when I went to bed. I set up a spell to put everything we need in our suitcases and made to be after you’d go to sleep to make sure you aren’t using anything from the things we need to pack,” said Natalya.

“Ah, why didn’t I think about that from the beginning?,” wondered Sophia.

“Because I am Seer my sis and I knew if we waited till morning to pack we’d be so late for the airport. Besides, even if we waited then decided to use magic it would take us time to make the spell,” explained Natalya.

“You’re so brilliant Unnie*,” said Sophia,

“Come on sweetie. Go take a shower while I’ll prepare a quick breakfast and some coffee before our departure,” said Natalya sweetly.

“Okay Natty, I will. And oh, Natty thank you for everything. Sarangaheyo Unnie,” said Sophia cutely.

“You’re welcome Sophie. Saranghaeyo too Dongsaeng*,” said Natalya sweetly.

While Sophia was taking her shower, Natalya prepared breakfast. She made chocolate pancakes and vegetable noodles. And then she prepared some coffee as well. She was checking her watch. It was almost 7 o’clock. There flight was at 8:30 which gives them time to dress and head to the airport. She was settled to leave their house at 7:45 to avoid any crowds in the early morning.

“Dongsaeng, put on heavy clothes after you are done. Moscow is so cold in the early morning,” said Natalya.

Despite it was the end of Summer, yet Moscow at early mornings was so chilly as if one would think they were at Winter season instead.

“Okay Unnie, I will,” said Sophia who was done combing her hair and was slipping in her heavy white dress and putting her black mink coat on.

“Come on let’s eat our breakfast quickly. We’ll leave at 7:45 to avoid any crowdedness,” said Natalya who was wearing purple dress and a matching black mink coat like Sophia’s.

“Okay, I’m done. Let’s eat,” said Sophia happily. She looked too beautiful with her soft brown hair that was left down on her shoulders and looked glowing in her white skin and shiny brown golden eyes.

“Okay, here’s your coffee. I’ll go get our blood packs to drink some on our way to the airport least we’d get thirsty,” said Natalya who was being stared at by her sister. She looked so soft like a royal Egyptian princess with mixed Russian and Korean blood with her long black soft hair was tied in softly on her right shoulder. She had white skin like her sister and black golden eyes.

“Okay,” said Sophia softly.

Being Hybrid witches with mixed Egyptian Korean blood, the Korbov sisters were the strongest amongst their own supernatural kin in Russia, Korea, and Egypt. They are strong and independent; only relying on each other since they had no one else despite having their relatives from both their mother and father’s side yet the girls weren’t that close to them.

“Are you ready?,” asked Natalya.

“Ready as I’ll ever be,” answered Sophia.

Natalya closed the door behind them and went to their car putting their suitcases in the truck. She checked the blood bags in her handbag so they would drink them on their way to the airport.

*PS: ayego is an act of cuteness; doing cute faces and sounds.

Unnie: older sister, used by younger girls to address their older sister.

Dongsaeng: younger sister/brother. Can be used by both older brother/sister to address their younger sibling.
