"Mira! Hey Mira!"

"Hm? Who's calling my name?"

Mira stopped in her tracks to turn around to see who was calling her name but found herself falling back instead because the figure bumped into her. Mira closed her eyes and expected to fall flat on her , but she noticed there was no imapct on her body whatsoever.

Instead, she realized that the person grabbed hold of her hand along with their other hand supporting her back, which prevented her from falling. 

Mira regained her strength and stood up straight to fix her clothes and hair. She finally looked up to see Baekhyun, her supposedly "prince charming" who saved her just now. 

"Hi Mira! Sorry for practically running into you. You stopped so suddenly that by the time I reached you, I didn't have enough time to react and stop," Baekhyun grinned but was clearly embarrassed. 

After Kai announced his plan about befriending Mira again, Baekhyun felt the need to meddle, something he definitely does best. Hence, the reason why he is currently confronting Mira a couple days later. He seriously left his last period in a rush to find Mira. When Kai had asked him if he wanted to hangout and work on their dance with the others, Baekhyun agreed but explained that he had to take care of something first that wouldn't take too long before heading to his house. 

She nonchalantly brushed it off. "Oh no worries, Baekhyun. Um... What's so important that you were yelling out my name?"

Baekhyun placed his arm around Mira's shoulders and started walking down the hallway with her which surprised her because she didn't exactly see him as her friend, or not yet at least. "Oh nothing too important. Just wanted to see if you were busy today." He smiled and continued, "If you're not, want to go to the mall with Kai and I later?" Baekhyun asked sincerly with a handsome smile that made Mira feel all warm suddenly. Another random invitation, great...

"Other than picking up Jae, I don't think I have any other pl-" 

"Great! So the mall around five?" Baekhyun interrupted happily.

"Uh, sure?" Mira answered hesitantly.

"Cool! Meet us there, yeah?" He replied quickly as he took his arm off around her shoulders and patted her back. "Do you have a phone?"

Mira looked down, her phone in her other hand and answered in a curious and questioningly manner, "Eh, yeah?"

Baekhyun snatched her phone from her hand and input his number into her phone. After several clicks later, he returned her phone to her before he patted the top of her head. "Alright, I'll catch you later! Text me so I can get your number, okay? Gotta go, bye!"

Mira didn't even have time say bye since he practically ran off and waved her goodbye. "What the. What just happened?" She looked down at her phone to check the time and remembered that she has to get her little brother. Before leaving, she looked back to the direction Baekhyun ran and smiled a little as she swore to herself in her head. Ahh, pabo. Swears like we're best friends or something...

On her way out of the school building, she met up with Sehun and Chanyeol.

"Hi Sehun, hi Chanyeol!" Mira said in a cheery tone. Both males nodded and smiled back. 

"Is Kyungsoo tutoring someone again?" She asked.

Chanyeol shook his head, "Nah. He had to go home right after school to take care of his grandma."

Mira nodded. Kyungsoo was always busy. When he wasn't tutoring in the library or practicing in the studio, he would be at home taking care of his grandma. She admired how committed and caring Kyungsoo is.

"So, Chanyeol and I are thinking about heading to the mall later on today. Want to come?" Sehun turned to ask Mira.

This question surprised her. She was supposed to meet Baekhyun, Sehun's ex best friend, and Kai at the mall later on, but if he found out, it would be awkward, wouldn't it? What if they encountered each other? She could say no and tell Baekhyun that she can't go, but what would be her excuse?  

If she does go, she could tell Sehun and Chanyeol that she wants to go shopping by herself and once she's with Baekhyun and Kai, she can text Sehun and Chanyeol asking where they are so she can prevent the two groups of guys from meeting each other. At least if I go with Sehun and Chanyeol, I'll feel a little bit safer. I have no idea what Baekhyun and Kai's intentions are...

Maybe she's making it a bigger deal than it really is, but she still feels like she shouldn't tell Sehun, only because she doesn't want him to get mad. She noticed Sehun and Chanyeol waiting for her response so she had to hurry and think.

"Uh, yeah. Sure! But if you don't mind, I'll probably go shopping by myself. I doubt you guys would want to walk around with me looking for bras and ," Mira says randomly, hoping they'll agree. Sehun cringed at the statement since he sees her as his sister but Chanyeol on the other hand had a evilish grin on his face. Sehun noticed the grin and hit Chanyeol on his arm.

"Haha what? I'm a guy and she's not MY sister!" Chanyeol joked around, "You know I'm just messing with you guys... Or am I?" Chanyeol grins with his eyebrow raised, which earned not one, but two slaps by both Sehun and Mira.

"Pabo!" Mira couldn't help but laugh at Chanyeol. The three laugh together in unison as they continue to walk down the road to pick up Jae.

After Baekhyun encountered Mira after school, he called Kai to let him know that he was on his way. He reached Kai's house and assumed that both Chen and Tao were already inside when he saw Chen's jeep in the front. When Baekhyun rang the doorbell, Kai answered the door and gestured Baekhyun to go upstairs while Kai followed behind him.

Upon entering his room, Baekhyun found Chen laying down on the bed and Tao looking through Kai's closet, like always. Baekhyun placed himself at the desk as he the computer and Kai simply laid on the floor.

"So, first of all, about the audition and competition..." Kai started.

"We need to figure out our wardrobe!" Tao stated. "We need to look fresh when we audition!"

"What? No! We need to pick a song to dance to!" Kai intercepted.

"I have dance moves to contribute to the routine," Chen added as he raised his hand confidently, which of course received eye rolls from his friends.

"I agree with Tao! Let's go to the mall later!" Baekhyun stood up in agreement, trying to get his plan to work, and continued, "As for now, let's each pick a song we like and I'll make the medley. In the meantime, we'll have Kai start off the routine, since he's the choreographer of our group. Then when have a few things done, we should go to the mall to get a feel for our outfits."

The other three gave him blank stares. "What?" Baekhyun asked innocently, sitting back down. The three shrugged and looked away.

"Nothing, it's just scary how you can be so... Organized, sometimes." Chen teased.

"I'm just happy that we get to go shopping!" Tao was quite pleased with the outcome and clapped his hands.

"You're such a girl, Tao." Chen stated in all seriousness before he paused and continued, "An ugly girl! Hahahahaha!"

Tao scoffed and rolled his eyes in annoyance and disagreement. Tao picked up a pillow off the bed and whacked Chen on the side of his head, which lead to the two wrestling on Kai's bed.

"Ow! What the hell?!"

"Take this, you troll!" Tao swung at Chen again but this time Chen ducked to avoid the hit. The fight ended not even 10 seconds later when Tao had Chen in a choke hold, forcing him to tap out. Tao reluctantly let go and pushed Chen off the bed, letting him know he was the king.

Kai was oblivious to the bickering of his friends who continued to fight as he tried to think of what moves he could incorporate into the routine. It usually came naturally for him. It was as if Kai was born to dance because moves would come to his mind so easily. He didn't have to try to think about the next move to do. Whenever there was music, it's as if he gets possessed by the beats. He automatically knows what to do and how to execute the next move. The other guys had always been jealous of him when it came to dance.

When they were little, he would always start the dance battles between everyone, but of course none of them were really competition for him. Yet he continued to dance and play with them, even if he knew he would most likely win in the end. 

Kai put in his earphones and put his playlist on shuffle. Without even thinking, Kai freestyled and did an 8-count that caught the eyes of the others who were impressed.

"Yah Kai, you always know what to do. I envy you," Tao whined.

"Me too, you don't even have to try. For me, it takes me awhile before I can even get a 2-count down!" Baekhyun chimed in. Kai couldn't help but smirk at the indirect compliments from his friends.

-beep beep- 

Baekhyun noticed it was his phone and grabbed it out of his back pocket and saw a text from a number that he didn't recognize. He opened the message.

Hey, it's Mira. Yeah. So, this is my number... Uh. Yeah. Sorry I forgot.

I guess I'll see you later. Ok... Bye ^^

Baekhyun smiled at the text. Even through texts, Mira is still awkwardly cute. He replied back to her text and closed his phone before he continued looking for songs on the computer.

Baekhyun couldn't help but grin. Not because he liked Mira, but because his plan was going smoothly. So far Mira has accepted to hang out with them. She doesn't have to know that Tao and Chen are coming and it wasn't a lie. Baekhyun and Kai really are going but just with extra guests. Plus it wouldn't be completely random since they had to get outfits for the performance. Baekhyun wanted her to remember everything just as much as Sehun does.

He added her number into his phone under "Mimi".

Time seemed to go by so fast that the four males didn't even notice. Baekhyun was trying to make a mix for them to dance to, while Kai was trying to choreograph and the other two were going back and forth helping both Baekhyun and Kai. It was already close to 5 when Baekhyun noticed the time. 

Right on cue as if he knew what Baekhyun was going to say, Tao asked eagerly, "So when are we going to the mall, you guys?" 

"Now! Let's go now!" Baekhyun replied quickly.

"Wow, I've never seen you so excited to go to the mall, Baek," Tao chuckled. Baekhyun shrugged nonchalantly.

Once everyone was inside the vehicle, Chen started his car and plugged the AUX cord into his phone. A moment later, Jeff Bernat's "Call You Mine" was playing. The sweet vibes and melody made the guys dance a little as Chen sang along. Baekhyun texted Mira saying he was on the way and she texted back saying she would leave soon.

It didn't take long until they finally reached the mall. Once they were inside, Tao was the first to drag them to one of his favorites stores. It was obvious as to why it was his favorite store. It contained name brands such as Gucci and Chanel. There were even brands that the others have never seen or heard of.
