After dropping off Jae to school, Sehun and Mira continued their way to their own school. After having that random dinner invitation from Kai and Baekhyun last week, Mira couldn't stop thinking about it. She couldn't help but feel some sort of connection with them already even though she had barely met them.

"Sehun?" Mira called out to the male.

"Hm?"

"Do you know two guys named Kai and Baekhyun, by any chance?" She asked quietly.

Hearing this made Sehun slow down and he eventually stopped to look at her. He already had a stern, cold-looking face to begin with, but his face now contained an anxious, worried expression. "W-why do you ask?"

Why is he being so nervous? His simple action made Mira raise her eyebrow, but she felt the urge to tell him what she was feeling or else she would've exploded for keeping everything in.

"I was just wondering... I've met Kai a couple of times at school and outside of school. I've only met Baekhyun once recently. But even so, I can't help but feel like I already know them. It sounds crazy, but I feel like I already met them, even before meeting them recently." Mira waited for Sehun's response but all he could do was stare at her. Great, he probably thinks I'm crazy, she thought.

"Uh, Sehun?" Mira waved her hand in front of Sehun's face. In response, he just blinked twice and cleared his throat. Sehun chuckled lowly and rubbed the back of his neck. Words were stuck on his tongue but he didn't know what to tell her.

"Sorry. Uh, yeah. Funny how you mention that. I know Baekhyun. He and I actually used to be best friends back in the day, but we drifted apart once middle school came. For Kai, I knew of him. I guess we were close at one point." Sehun took his eyes off Mira and started walking slowly up the hill towards their school. Mira followed quietly, letting his words sink in.

"Ahh, I see. Maybe that's why Baekhyun seems familiar, since he was one of your old friend. I don't remember him though." Mira frowned at the thought of not being able to remember.

Sehun shrugged. "Wouldn't expect you to know all of my friends' names."

"True. As for Kai, I don't know...." Thinking about it too much gave Mira a tiny headache, making her rub the side of her head. Come to think about it, Mira distanced herself from her past so much that it was difficult for her to figure out what was real and what was just a thought. She couldn't remember a lot from her adolescent years like most people, only bits and pieces.

Sehun noticed Mira rubbing her head and spoke, "Don't think about it too much. You might give yourself a bigger headache." Mira nodded and obeyed her brother. 

It was obvious that Sehun felt uneasy about the sudden question. Mira couldn't figure out why but she assumed it was because him and Baekhyun used to be super close, so he didn't want to talk about it. The two remained awkwardly quiet until they got to school. The two separated as Mira went to her locker and Sehun walked to his.

Thinking about it, he has seen Baekhyun and his old friends around the halls, but never said hi. He only kept in contact with Kyungsoo and a few others, so they stayed close. Although he wanted to regain their friendship, it just felt awkward to even look them in the eyes.

Mira's question caught him off guard, especially since she hasn't mentioned those names since before she moved away. Especially Kai.

Close to his locker, Sehun caught a glimpse of Baekhyun in the hallway talking to a girl. Baekhyun, he was always a sweet talker back in elementary school.

"Aish, this guy." Sehun smirked, remembering how popular Baekhyun was with the girls in elementary school.

Sehun grabbed his materials from his locker and closed it. He looked over in Baekhyun's direction and saw that he was already saying bye to the girl.

Baekhyun continued his way down the hall but was taken back when he noticed Sehun staring at him with a stern face. Confused, he just continued walking until he passed Sehun, avoiding his eyes.

There was no reason for the two to talk. It's been how many years since they stopped talking. But to his surprise, Sehun called out to him.

"Baekhyun." Sehun called out in a low tone. Baekhyun stopped walking and waited awhile before turning around, not knowing why Sehun had suddenly started talking to him again.

"Oh, uh, hey Sehun." Baekhyun replied awkwardly, giving him a small smile.

"I-I need to ask you something, if you don't mind."

Silence roamed the air for awhile. Baekhyun was super confused and contemplated on what he should say in response. He didn't know what the heck was going on. Why did Sehun suddenly approach him? What does he want to talk about? Baekhyun remained quiet and gave Sehun a little nod indicating for the younger to go on.

"It's about... Mimi." Sehun added.

Math had to be Mira's least favorite subject. No matter how much she studied, she would only get a decent grade, like a C or B. If she had to pick between ten math problems that involved geometry or be locked up with a psycho monkey, she would most likely pick the monkey.

That's how much she loathes math. 

Down on her desk was a piece of paper full with math problems, but none of them has been answered. Mira sighed and continued to tap the pencil on her forehead.

"I just want this period to end! Eight more minutes..." Mira placed both hands on either side of her head and closed her eyes.

"Oh geez, Mimi! Do you need help?" Kyungsoo asked and snickered at the troubled girl.

"Mmmmmmmhhhhhh," Mira groaned loudly with her head still in between her hands and eyes closed.

Kyungsoo laughed at her as he patted her head. "Hang in there chingu, the period is almost done. At least this is homework so you can have Sehun help you!"

"Yah pabo, stop whining about it being so difficult when you haven't even tried it!" This came from a deep but smooth voice from her left. A second later, Mira was getting tickled by the owner of the voice.

"Hahahaha! Oh my gosh! Hahahahaha! S-stop it, Chanyeol!" Mira couldn't hold back her laugh. She couldn't stop him either because she was using her hands to cover to prevent herself from laughing out loudly. After a good minute, she managed to finally grab hold of his hands. The male decided to stop tickling her but couldn't wipe the grin off his face.

"Stop smiling. You're annoying, you know that?" Mira stated. Her grin which was present just a second ago was now replaced with an irritated expression.

"Well you're annoying with all of your constant complaining! And you know you love me," Chanyeol argued back then smiled as he held Mira's hands in his. This type of skinship didn't bother Mira at all. They were her best friends – after Sehun of course.

"You both are annoying!" Kyungsoo finally popped into the conversation, receiving glares from both persons.

Kyungsoo rose his hands up in the air innocently, "Hey, just stating the truth."

Oh, how she had a love/hate relationship for these two. If it wasn't for Sehun who introduced them to her during freshman year, she wouldn't have gotten close to either Chanyeol or Kyungsoo. She couldn't help but smile at the two who were now bickering and nagging each other like an old, married couple.

For some reason, it was easy for her to get close with them. Normally she isn't good around other people, but when she met them she felt... Comfortable. Mira assumed it was just because Chanyeol and Kyungsoo were close friends with Sehun already so that's why it was easy for her to connect with them.

It was the similar feeling she got when she met Kai and Baekhyun... The sense of familiarity.

The bell rang almost five minutes later and Mira rushed out of the classroom after saying bye to Kyungsoo and Chaneyol.

"Finally."

If there was something that Mira absolutely loved about the school, it were the dance rooms. Her favorite period was dance, of course.

She started ballet and hip-hop when she was still young. Her mother always believed that dancing would help people relieve stress. And she was right. It always helped Mira through hard times.

Unfortunately, there came a period of time when Mira eventually stopped dancing. That period of time being around the same time of the accident. Dancing alone reminded her of her mother. It was something that they both loved and had in common. It was their thing.

As a young girl still, stress and depression continued to hound her and it started to become unbearable. It took Mira a lot of strength to open herself up to dance again. It was then that she rediscovered dance and started to feel alive again. Not only was it something that could help her express her inner feelings, but it also expressed herself and her personality. It also reminded her of her mom and how bright her smile was whenever Mira danced. That bright smile was Mira's motivation to continue with life.

She rushed to the girls' locker room and changed out of her clothes to put on the necessary outfit and shoes. The young girl always wanted to be one of the first ones to get to the room so she could get the spot near the door and the mirror.

She stretched on the floor for about five minutes before heading towards the ballet barres where she practiced on simple movements and techniques. Pretty soon the room was filled with her classmates and the teacher. At the sound of the teacher's clap, she managed to get the room's attention.

"Okay students, as you know by now, the winter show is coming up in December. Four months from now!" Mrs. Kwon announced, receiving cheers, hoots, and claps from the students.

"Everyone, that includes students from other dance periods, will be able to dance in at least three dances all together - one being the beginning, another being the ending, and the other being a group performance in the middle. Of course, you would have to audition in order to showcase your own personal dance, unless if myself or the other dance teacher, Mr. Jang, personally ask you to participate."

'Wows' and 'Aws' immediately filled the room.

"Also, last year we were not able to be a part of it, but this year our school will be participating in the Annual Dance Showcase and Talent Show at the beginning of next year, which is a competition between the best dancers from other schools in the same area. If you place in the top ten, you will be entered in the dance competition, Living Arts to Inspire, which is a competition between schools from outside the area. If you place in the top five, you will continue on to the last and final stage. Here, the top five will compete against each other and the first place prize will have the honor of binging back $1,000 for their school, they'll bring their school bragging rights and the winners will be featured in a music video by a famous singer or group! We currently do not know for who, but more info will be out later on. To enter this, you will have to audition and compete within our school between your classmates first because only one group can represent the school."
