If there is anything that definitely worries Mira, it would have to be when Sehun remains quiet.

Complete, dead, silence.

That was all she received from him. There was pure disappointment in Mira. After the little encounter with everyone in the arcade, Mira remained quiet and drowned in her guilt. 

The only thing Sehun said to her throughout the whole 'reunion' was if she needed a ride home. When she politely rejected, he walked out without another word with Chanyeol following him and she couldn't help but feel ashamed.

Although Lay and Luhan were the most confused, they restrained themselves from asking what was going on. That didn't stop Kai and the others from asking her what that whole scene was about. She shook her head in response and politely, but sympathetically asked to leave.

The group said their goodbyes, with Mira giving Lay and Luhan extra big hugs and told them that she would explain everything to them the next time they meet.

"Aigo, Mimi. Always getting into quarrels with the guys, eh?" Lay chuckled and revealed his dimple which Mira poked at. "Yah! Be quiet, won't you?" Mira said but couldn't help but giggle. 

"Bye Mimi! See you soon!" Luhan called out while giving a kind-hearted smile.

Everyone dispersed out of the arcade as Mira texted Chanyeol asking where they were and received a text not too long after.

At the mall still, about to leave. Going to the Lot right now =/ 

The Lot, a dance studio that the Oh siblings were quite familiar with and fond of. That is so like Sehun. Similar to her, as well. It would be a lie if she said she wasn't thinking about going there to release all of the stress. 

Mira was about to reply but received another text message.

You don't have to tell Sehun... BUT... You HAVE to tell me! You have a lot of explaining to do, missy! (T^T)

At least Chanyeol had the decency to add on emoji icons in his texts, or else she would've thought that he was mad at her, too. Or maybe he is. She hoped not. Although, it's rare for Chanyeol to get mad. He's always so positive and optimistic. You would have to be a complete to piss him off. 

She replied with a 'thumbs up' emoji and added an 'okay'. If there was anyone else she felt comfortable talking to other than Sehun, it would be Chanyeol, so she wasn't too worried.

But even though he's one less person to worry about, she still felt bad for Kai and his friends. She was sorry that they had to witness a small sibling quarrel. She was sorry that she went to the mall for them behind Sehun's back. She was sorry for having them meet, especially since she knew Baekhyun and Sehun used to be best friends. She was sorry for all of it.

She felt bad for Lay and Luhan, too. Apparently, the reason why they were here in Korea was because they moved back in town. Before, they both had moved to Beijing when they were all younger, making it difficult to communicate. The two have already graduated and are actually a year older than the rest and decided to continue their education in Korea. 

Mira debated whether or not if she should head home or not. Sehun would be at the Lot with Chanyeol anyway and that usually lasts for a couple of hours, but he'll probably stay out longer just to avoid her. A deep, loud sigh unintentionally came out of . Everything was bringing down her mood.

Kai who was walking behind Mira heard her sigh and walked up to her.

"You know, if you don't want to head home and wouldn't mind some company, you're more than welcome to hangout with us," Kai said, giving her a small and comforting smile. 

"I might have to take you up on that offer," Mira tried her best to give him a decent smile. He smiled back. He noticed that she was having a hard time but he didn't know what to do. This was a situation between her and Sehun. He, himself, let out a sigh. The two continued walking side-by-side in silence while the others were a tad bit ahead. 

Mira stole a glance at Kai before lightly grabbing his wrist, hinting to him to stop. He stopped in front of Mira and looked at her curiously as the others continued walking without even noticing that the other two had stopped.

"Kai, I'm really sorry about what happened back there... I should've just told everyone the truth, but if I did, I felt like it would've caused unnecessary drama. I know that Baekhyun and Sehun used to be best friends... I just feel like if I told Sehun and Baekhyun, it would've been awkward, don't you think?" Mira said apologetically as she looked down at the floor.

"Maybe. But maybe not," Kai stated calmly. What happened between Baekhyun and Sehun wasn't bad. They just drifted apart quietly, but Mira doesn't know that. She just knows that they used to be close and now they're practically strangers. "But don't feel sorry, I understand why you didn't want to tell us. Shoot, I probably would've done the same thing if I were you."

"I doubt it," Mira smiled at Kai's attempt to comfort her, "You're not as stupid as me. Heck, I can barely remember times from when I was younger."

Kai remained quiet when he heard that statement but Mira laughed quietly at it. Then what do you remember? He thought to himself. Kai shrugged and responded, "Well, that happens to everyone. Humans don't remember everything that happens in their life."

"But... For me, I really can't remember," Mira said quietly, biting her lower lip. She felt comfortable enough to talk to Kai about this, even though she doesn't really know him, but she was worried about how he would think of her. She noticed that he was listening intently. 

"What do you mean you really can't remember? If you don't mind me asking," Kai asked. Mira shook her head and smiled as she continued, "I don't mind. Well, I'm not sure how to explain it. There are moments that feel like déjà vu and I can't recall why. I feel like I'm forgetting something, like I lost a part of me. I feel lost at times..." Mira trailed off, thinking of how she should explain it. She wasn't even sure if she was forgetting anything, it just felt like it.

She suddenly thought of the incident that happened earlier with Chen and when he started questioning her. She doesn't know why she said what she said. Plus when that one image that came to her head... Wasn't it only from her dreams? It was an image of other kids hanging out. Kids that seemed rather familiar and close to one another. Does she know any kids other than Jae and a few of his friends? 

She let out a frustrated sigh. "I don't even know. It's just confusing to me." Mira frowned, brushing off the thoughts in her head.

Kai couldn't imagine how she felt but the fact that she's saying this upset him. "Hey, cheer up," Kai patted her back and thought of how he could comfort her. "You want some ice cream?"

Mira giggled to herself at his question. "You're making it seem like I'm 5 years old. Although it does sound tempting... But I'll pass. Thanks though. Thank you for listening to me, I hope you don't see me differently."

"Can't say I didn't try," Kai shook his head subtly with a grin on his face. "But of course, we're friends now, aren't we?"

Are we friends? Mira asked herself. She stared into Kai's dark-brown eyes and saw how genuine and honest they were. Mira's smile broke out and she was now beaming with happiness, "Yes, yes we are."

This sight made Kai feel hopeful. "Come on, let's catch up with the others! I doubt they even noticed we were gone. You can come over to my house and critique our performance. We'll also take you home," Kai offered his arm to Mira which she happily linked her arm with.

"Okay!" Mira agreed cheerfully. When the two caught up to the guys who were waiting at the front of the mall, they arrived to three smirk-filled faces and non-stop snickering.

"Where did you two go, eh?" Chen raised his eyebrows mischievously as he playfully punched Kai's arm.

"Yeah, we were wondering where you two scurried off to!" Baekhyun laughed.

"Mira, did he make a move on you?" Tao teased and received a glare from Kai but ignored it.

"You guys are so weird! We were just talking," Mira admitted honestly.

"Right, just talking," Chen chuckled as Tao raised up his hand for Chen to high five.

"Anyways, Mira's coming with us. You guys ready to go?" Kai asked.

"Well, obviously," Baekhyun said in a 'duh' tone, "We were just waiting for you two." Baekhyun couldn't hold back his laugh any longer as he continued to tease the younger male. Hearing Baekhyun's obnoxious laugh eventually made everyone laugh and break out into smiles.

When they arrived at Kai's house, Mira no longer felt anxious, but instead felt genuinely comfortable. She received a warm welcome by Mrs. Kim, who came up to her and gave her a motherly, tender hug. 

"I'm so glad to see you again, Mira!"

"Happy to see you again too, Mrs. Kim," Mira's lips curved into a smile.

"And hello my beautiful son and my adopted sons!" Mrs. Kim pinched Kai's cheeks and he groaned, which received snickers from the other boys until Mrs. Kim did the same to them. Mira herself couldn't help but giggle. The guys soon walked out of the kitchen and into the living room, gesturing Mira to follow.

"I'll make you guys some snacks! Make yourself at home, Mira! Oh, I'll pack some snacks for Jae and Sehun too!" Mrs. Kim sung cheerfully.

"Thank you- Wait, Sehun?" Mira was confused. 

"Oh, um, Kai and Baekhyun mentioned that you have two brothers, Jae and Sehun. Am I right?" Mrs. Kim asked curiously, still smiling, wondering if Mira will say something different. In all honesty, Mrs. Kim knew about the whole situation with Mira, Jae, and the Oh Family taking them in.

"Oh, I see. Yes ma'am, I have two brothers. I'm sorry, it caught me off guard. Thank you again, Mrs. Kim!" Mira chuckled nervously and bowed to apologize before giving her a smile and followed the guys out of the kitchen.

"I hope you won't mind going upstairs with us so we can practice," Kai stated, hoping it wouldn't make Mira feel uncomfortable.

"I don't mind at all," Mira smiled and was ready to follow them upstairs.

"Uh.. In my... room."

Little devilish snickers could be heard from the others after his remark.

Mira's smile faltered a little bit and felt confused as to what to do, but didn't reject, "Oh. Okay. I'll just follow you."

Kai nodded and started walking up the stairs, with Mira, Baekhyun, Tao, and Chen behind him. Once they reached his room, the guys dropped their shopping bags  on the floor. Baekhyun went back to the computer while Tao and Chen sat on Kai's bed, leaving Kai and Mira standing awkwardly in the middle of his room. 

She was surprised to see a clean, organized room. Compared to Sehun's, Kai's looked perfect. Sehun's was always a pig sty, like as if a tornado hit his room. "Wow, you have a nice room," Mira looked in awe as she looked around. 

"Kai is like a maid, he never stops cleaning. Which is surprising, considering how much of a pig he was when we were younger," Baekhyun had no shame in embarrassing his best friend.

When Baekhyun noticed her coming closer to where he was, he noticed the photo frame that had the picture of them at Kai's birthday party and grabbed it to put it away in one of the desk's drawers. Kai saw what Baekhyun did and immediately grabbed Mira's wrist and gestured her to sit on his bed.

"Here, let me show you what we have so far!" Kai recited.

Mira smirked. "Do you trust me that I won't copy your dance moves?"

"I'm pretty sure you won't and can't copy us," Kai smirked back, which made Mira scoff at his cockiness.

Kai asked Tao to play the song and once it started, Kai immediately started the dance. The moves seemed so simple, but he made it look so intricate and complicated. The way he moved made Mira swoon inside. Not only can he dance hip-hop and can hit all the right angles precisely, but she also noticed how smooth and gracious he initiated the moves.

After about 30 seconds had passed, he stopped the song.

"Yeah, that's all we have so far."

"Well, that's all he has so far. He still needs to teach us," Baekhyun said.

"That was... That was..." Mira was lost at words and didn't know how to describe it.

"I know, it's not the best, but-" Kai started.

"What?! That was amazing! The way you move, it's so... so..." 

"y?" Baekhyun smirked at Mira, who in return turned bright red as a tomato. 

"Omg, are you blushing, Mira?! You are, aren't you?! Hahahahahaha!!" Tao let out a loud laugh and was joined in with Chen, who had now fallen to the floor, laughing his off.

Kai couldn't help but blush too. "Hey you guys, don't be so mean to her," Kai was defending Mira, but if he only knew how that made her blush more.

Chen wiped the tears from his eyes while Baekhyun and Tao put their hands on their stomachs because of the pain they were getting from laughing so much. 

"Oh my god, you're so funny Mira," Chen said as he continued wiping his eyes.

"I hate you guys..." Mira muttered and looked away, in high hopes that her skin color will return to normal.

"Pretty soon, you'll come to realize that we're the best friends anyone can have in the world and you'll come to love us," Baekhyun joked to Mira, but meant in all honesty.

"I highly doubt it," Mira scoffed. 

"I don't."

"What makes you so sure?"

"I just have a feeling that we'll become best of friends."

Seeing Baekhyun grin widely made Mira scoff again and roll her eyes, but to be honest, she didn't mind. If she wasn't so hard-headed, she almost would've agreed.

"DUDE. LIS-TEN TO MEEEE!" This time Chanyeol didn't stand to wait for an answer. This time Chanyeol walked up to Sehun, grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him roughly. The younger looked up to Chanyeol with a pissed off look.

"Oh, you don't scare me. Always looking intimidating on the outside but you're really a soft, fuzzy, gentle, cute-"

"Dude, shut up," Sehun said coldly as he shrugged Chanyeol's hands off his shoulders.

"Not until you tell me why you're still acting like this," Chanyeol demanded.

He crossed his arms and started tapping his foot, waiting for what Sehun had to
