AN: Cute little fanboy drabble xD

Taemin knew he was lucky enough to score a position working under the famous model Lee Jinki. He was a fan of course --who wasn’t when the guy was so endlessly gorgeous? His mouth would slightly water when Jinki would pass by him on a way to a photo shoot or to a specific schedule. Taemin knew he was lucky to be working in a small position like this and of course also knew that it was unlikely that he’d ever get to meet one of his idols. 

Until one day the model seemed to be just having a rough day and Taemin was forward to bring him some food. He had the biggest blush on his cheeks as he handed the elder some coffee and he tried to clam his nerves as he spoke, “D-did you w-want something s-sweet s-sir?”

He could barely believe he was only a couple feet away from his gorgeous man. He looked slightly annoyed before he fully looked at him and a smile spread on his face. “No thank you though.” Taemin felt him hand him the cup and he took it with shaky hands. He felt faint when Jinki pat his head. “Your blush was more than enough to make me feel better. You’re quite cute Taemin-ah.”

“Y-You k-k-know my n-name?!” Taemin exclaimed. He was clutching the cup so tightly, his knees nearly about to give out. The elder gave him his famous eye smile, “Yes. You’re just what I needed.” Jinki soon winked at him, “I’ll call on you again Taemin. Your smile brightens up the room.”

Taemin promptly felt his heart give out when Jinki brushed his hair off his forehead and walked away. True to his words Jinki began to call on him more often and soon those brushes were replaced with a gentle knowing kiss. And soon? Taemin moved his way up to a spot he never needed to work to be in.

He was at the photoshoot for one of Jinki’s magazine covers, but he wasn’t working. He was in the elder’s arms-posing with him and making Jinki smile the smile he was so famous for. When he looked up at his idol, he could barely believe how easily they fit together. He was the high of the high while he was only a college student. 

But he caught Jinki’s attention. And when Jinki asked him to be his own model in return—especially while alone, Taemin couldn’t help but jump at it. Jinki was down to earth while he could be quite obsessive. But they balanced each other out. While Jinki once said that his smile lit up a room, Taemin agreed but believed it was Jinki’s smile that did the brightening—especially in his heart.
