Cursed
Golden Curse
Narrator's pov:
"Isn't it like that...? Kibum...." Riah grinned wickedly, making the falcon bird cry out loudly.
The falcon looked at Riah who smirked, her lips curled up into onse side as she kept brushing her hair, slowly letting it grow longer.
"I didn't... betray you..." it said, making the prince's gasp and make Jinki even more confused.
It was all real what he saw that night and he really did hear the bird talk.
Riah scoffed as she twirled a bit fo hair around her fingers, curling it between them.
"If you didn't betray me this time, you still did before." Riah hissed as the bird's head lowered.
"Leave him alone." Gohee hissed and ran to her, succeeding in cutting another piece of hair, making her younger once again.
"You annoying old hag!" Riah growled, touching her hair that was still long but with uneven cuts here and there.
"If I'm cursed to live this life because of you..." Gohee started, startling Jinki who tried to puzzle everything into one piece. "Then I'll make sure that you won't come out when I'm still alive."
Riah looked at Gohee and scoffed loudly, making the falcon cry loudly.
"Shut up Kibum! If it wasn't because of you this wouldn't have happend either! And that hag is taking all my life away, those I collected to sincerely!" Riah hissed, her eyes icy cold.
*Flash backs*
-Many many years ago-
"Kibum!"
The said boy lifted his head up and looked around, finding his best friend running to him while she waved her hands in the air.
"Rapunzel!" Kibum grinned, waving his hands back as well.
A young girl with long golden colored hair ran to him, making sure she didn't trip because of the stones on the ground.
"What are you doing here?" Kibum asked curiously as he made some place for the girl to sit at.
"I was bored so I thought I'll look for you. You're still waiting for some fish?" Rapunzel asked, her smile beautiful and dazzlingly, making Kibum smile brightly as well.
The two have been best friends since they were kids. Rapunzel often followed Kibum and he in turn took great care of her who had only her sick mother at home.
"Yup, the fish are a bit lazy today or they're not hungry." Kibum shrugged and played with some small pebbles on the ground.
"I think they know that you're going to catch them and then eat them up." Rapunzel laughed, making Kibum widen his eyes and place his index finger in front of his lips.
"Shhh! Don't say that so loud! The fish can understand and hear you, what if they decide to suddenly all go away, then we'll have nothing to eat anymore." Kibum gasped, making Rapunzel chuckle.
Kibum liked hearing Rapunzel laugh, it was full innocence and it was pretty.
Ever since Rapunzel's dad passed away and her mother got sick, he felt the responsibilty to take care of the girl. He looked after her like she was his own blood related sister.
They spended a lot of time together and Kibum even took care of Rapunzel's mother who was forever thankful.
Till one day when the two got a bit older, they met someone.
