Golden Curse
Narrator's pov:
"I...I need to throw up!"
The pregnant woman held her hand in front of while her husband searched for an empty pot. The moment he placed it under his wife's face, she started to throw everything up.
Her skin was pale and she was sweating, her eyes a bit dull while she wiped her face with a clean towel.
"Are you okay?" the worried husband asked, patting the pale woman's back lightly.
She nodded weakly, but the husband knew better. His wife was suffering and wanted to help her, in any way possible.
"We need to go and see a doctor." he said determined, but his wife grabbed his sleeve and shook her head, a breathy sigh rolling over her lips.

When he finally arrived at the old woman's house, he stopped and waited.
"Should I go...?" he asked himself in a whisper, knowing it was wrong to steal, but he knew that the old woman had flowers that could heal any disease.
With a small nod, he walked to the small house, to the large garden next to it.
It wasn't hard to find as the flower had a blue color with a golden shine on it. The moonlight was enough for him to find it and carefully, he pulled it out fo the ground.
"Maybe I should take another one, just to be sure." he mumbled to himself and bend down before taking another one out, with roots and all.
"What are you doing?" a stern voice asked and the husband froze, hearing a woman's voice.
