Lee Taemin is just a normal high school senior... who happens to fall in love with one of the most popular people in school. Choi Minho has been the center of his love since freshman year, and his love is only getting deeper. But there's absolutely no chance of it ever happening, considering that Minho is the complete opposite of Taemin. He's popular, well known in the school, the star athelete, and every girl wants him. And to make matters worse, they're both guys.

But the love he feels is unrequited and he can't seem to get Minho out of his mind. So when Taemin's best friend, Kim Kibum, suggests that he write an anonymous love letter, Taemin agrees. Thinking that Minho gets dozens of letters from girls, will either think nothing of it or just toss it, and that this will get the words "I Love You" off of his chest, Taemin pours his heart into that letter, and leaves it in Minho's locker.

Choi Minho is the guy everyone loves, envies, and wants to be. But, he's careful not to make enemies. Not that he would really, his personality forbids it. He's charasmatic and charming, and loves to have fun. Being popular has always been his thing, and it's not something he trys to do.

Being popular also comes with being loved. A lot. He's the sight of nearly every girl in school, so it's no surprise he's on the recieving end of too many love letters, phone numbers, and confessions to count. But in his opinion, girls shouldn't just be ignored. Well, no one should. And so, instead of just throwing away any letters he gets, he reads them.

He does, for the most part, disregard the majority of them. But, when  he comes across one that's so sweet, heartfelt, detailed, and obviously treasured, he makes up his mind to get to know the girl who wrote it.... except there's no name on it. Anywhere.

Kim Kibum is Taemin's best friend, or "umma" as he likes to call him. He has been in love with the school's player, Kim Jonghyun, for as long as he can remember. Probably even longer than Taemin has liked Minho.

So when he gives his "son" the advice of sending an anonymous love letter, he actually sends one of his own as well.

Kim Jonghyun is Choi Minho's best friend. They're an awkward match of jock and class clown, but they've been friends since childhood. He's had his eye on a certain diva in their grade for a while, but considering how no one, except for Minho, knows he's gay, he does absolutely nothing about it. Instead, he flirts with girls constantly, maintaing his playboy reputation.
