[Contest is Discontinued]

I've never done a contest before and I wanted to try my hand at it, so here I go.

This is both a 2Min and a JongKey contest. That being said, entries may be either pairing (Jongkey or 2Min) but cannot be both. Other members of the band may make appearances or play roles in the entry, but only one main pairing is allowed. If more than one pairing is needed to make a story line work, please PM me.

Rules & Regs

• No using a story that already exists or that is already in progress. Only new fics will be accepted
• Anyone entering the contest must be subscribed to this Story/Contest. If not, even if you enter, your fic will not be accepted. This is because I might update something important and if you are not subscribed, you won't know.
• All entries must link this contest in their forward.
• All entries must state the plot number and quote in their forward. 
• All entries must have both a "contest" tag and either a "jongkey" or "2min" tag, depending on which pairing you write.
• All entries must credit the poster shop/creator in their foward as well as use the graphic in the forward. I don't mind if you create your own poster and use it for every chapter, but the forward will have to be the contest image.
• Any and all authors can enter as many times as they would like.
• Entries can be all genres, included.
• Entries can be both multichaptered or oneshots. Drabbles are fine, but are less likely to win because they develope less of a story plot.
• Genderbend fics are allowed, but keep in mind that I'm a slash shipper.
• Friendship fics are allowed, but still must have a 'pairing' tag.

Notes

• There is no actual grading system on how winners will be chosen. I will pick the entries that I feel are deserving to win. Some may disagree with me, but this contest is based on my personal opinion and standards.
• The contest will have 2 winners: JongKey and 2Min
• Keep in mind that the contest prizes may not be SHINee related, but all will be KPop related. I'm not going to post the prizes yet, however.
• Contest prizes will be posted in an update with pictures of the actual prize and a number to go along with it. When I announce the contest winners, the prizes will be on a first come, first served basis. Whichever winning author claims a prize the fastest will get their first choice. So be sure to check the updates.

Opening/Closing

• This contest is from October 1, 2012 - January 1, 2013.
• The contest gives you three months.
• Though the contest is posted, I will not accept entries before the opening date. This is only because I want this contest to gain interest and willing authors before it officially opens.
• You may post your entries, but if you link them to me before the opening, I will disregard them and you will have to link it to me again once the contest opens.
• Late entries do not need to be addressed right now. I will explain how I will work with those if and when I actually need to.
• Again, the deadline is January 1, 2013.
