Choi Seungwoo, Cube Entertainment, Seungwoo's card reads, with a phone number and address on the back.

Seoul-si, Gangnam-gu, Cheongdam-dong, 125-20 4F, Cube Entertainment.

"I did tell that nice oppa that I'd go meet his CEO," you sigh, deliberating. "And Jihye's not open yet. But is his CEO even awake?"

You reach the building at 6:20 and call Seungwoo. "Seungwoo oppa, annyeonghaseyo~ I'm downstairs right now."

Hm, this looks like a nice café. It's part of Cube?

"Oh, omo, annyeonghaseyo, come right up," he says, flustered.

Grinning, you push the door open as it unlocks. He greets you energetically and ushers you into an office.

"CEO Hong isn't here yet, but you can wait here. You must be tired. You can't have gotten much sleep."

"Kamsahamnida, but I'm fine. Can I take a look around?" you ask. "I don't feel much like sitting right now."

"No problem! I'll take you around on a tour! I think BEAST might be here, they arrived back from Japan yesterday," he offers eagerly. "By the way… What's your name?"

"You can call me Jin Ae." You smile. Who the hell is BEAST? "Shall we go?"

"Hyung, get up," Dongwoon groans, heaving at Doojoon's arm. "Get upppp!"

"Aish, we literally just got back from Japan, give me a break," the leader groans.

"Yeah, give him a break," Yoseob calls, laughing. "You know how lazy Yoon leadernim is."

Junhyung chuckles, only half-listening as he works on composing his latest track.

Gikwang chortles, in the middle of working out a dance move with Hyunseung.

"Why, you-" Doojoon sputters threateningly.

The door opens, unnoticed by all but Yoseob, who's facing the mirror.

 "Oh! Annyeonghaseyo," he greets. "Choi Seungwoo, right?" he asks, shutting off the music. "I've seen you around. Didn't you scout some of the BTOB boys?" Everyone looks towards the door.

"Neh, that's me," Seungwoo confirms. "I was just showing Jin Ae-ssi around. Jin Ae-ssi, come on in. This is BEAST's dance practice room." Anticipatory, he ushers you in.

"Annyeonghaseyo," you bow. "Jin Ae-ibnida."

"So BEAST! Annyeonghaseyo, BEAST-ibnida," everyone chorus from various parts of the room. She's really pretty.

"Wait a sec wait a sec wait a sec-" Doojoon blurts. "You're the Mona Lisa!"

You cringe. "Ah, yes."

"There's so much hype about you right now. Did you really sneak onto set to be famous? How are you connected to EXO?" Hyunseung asks. "I won't hold it against you."

"I was just sitting there when the PD called me over. He mistook me for a staff member and I was given no choice but to go on set. But you can believe whatever you want to believe."

"Daebak," Dongwoon pronounces. "So what brings you here today?"

"Talks with your CEO." You shrug. "Seungwoo-ssi staked out by the SNU campus for hours to get me, so I decided his efforts should be rewarded."

"Seoul National University? You must be really smart," Gikwang says admiringly. "Are you going to be a trainee here then?"

"Mollayo, we'll see. Um… What are your names?"

"You don't know our names?" Junhyung speaks up disbelievingly.

"Uh… Well, no…" You shake your head. "Sorry. I'm not too familiar with the K-pop scene. I'm kind of just learning as I go along."

"That's fine," Doojoon reassures you, getting up. "I'm Yoon Doojoon, the leader."

"I'm Son Dongwoon, or Son Nam-Shin," Dongwoon introduces himself confidently, with a cheeky smile on his face.

"I'm Yong Junhyung."

"Lee Gikwang, the main dancer and visual!" Gikwang announces brightly.

"Yang Yoseob, main vocal," Yoseob grins. Man, am I glad I toned up.

"Jang Hyunseung, lead vocal and lead dancer." Hyunseung grins, doing a little wave.

"Fair warning: that kid is really 4D," Doojoon tells you.

"Oh! What's going on?" Someone calls from outside.

"That's G.NA noona," Hyunseung says. "She's Canadian."

"Annyeonghas- Omona! You're that girl on the news lately," G.NA gasped, coming in. "I'm G.NA."

"Annyeonghaseyo, Jin Ae-ibnida. You're Canadian?" you ask, smiling. "I was born and raised in New York City."

Seungwoo mouths, "I'm going to check if the CEO is here." You nod and he leaves quietly.

"Oh, you're from NYC? You speak English, then!" G.NA guesses, delighted.

"Yup. I have a really good friend who's Canadian. Met him in New York a while back."

"Don't ask me if I know him," she begs. "Everyone always asks if I know people from Canada. I don't think they know how big Canada is," she complains.

"I know, right? New York City is nowhere near as big but I always have the same problem. I feel for you, girl," you nod, sympathetic. She makes a face.

"Anyway, you're in college, right? Call me unnie! What's your English name?"

"Jewel-"

"This is so awesome, Jewel! I'm so excited to have you here as a trainee," she gushes happily, taking you by the arm. "There aren't enough girls around here! Let's go have a look around," she suggests.

"Noona! Where are you taking Jin Ae-ssi?" Doojoon protests. "We haven't had a proper conversation yet!"

"Yah, gwenchana?" Jaebum asks Mark, worried. "You look like you haven't slept the whole night. You're not sick, are you?"

Mark shakes his head. "I'm not sick." Not physically, anyway. He stares out the car window.

"I think he had his nightmare again," Jackson leans forward and whispers to Jinyoung, who sighs.

"Do you think he needs therapy?" Bam Bam whispers to Youngjae.

"What happened? They must have started because of something," Yugyeom asks Mark directly, turning around.

"What are you talking about?" Mark groans tiredly. "Nothing happened. I'm fine."

He sticks his earphones in, trying to ignore the members' concerned looks, and texts someone.

"Yeah, I once acted in noona's music video," Doojoon nods. "Junhyung was featured in the track. Back then, he had this hair-"

"Don't talk about it," Junhyung groans.

Dongwoon grins. "You always have the strangest hair, hyung. I swear the stylist has a grudge against you."

You laugh as Gikwang shows you a screen capture. "I don't know, oppa, I think you look rather cute. Quite naïve-looking," you say playfully.

G.NA giggles. "I agree."

Yoseob smiles, watching you. Hyunseung elbows him and wiggles his eyebrows knowingly, then leans forward to point out a particularly amusing photo.

Two Moons suddenly fills the air. "Motherfu-" you bite off a curse as G.NA smiles, amused. When did Kris change my ringtone? How did he get into my phone?

You silence the phone and glare at it for a couple of seconds as it buzzes in your hand. "I'm going to kill him," you mutter.

"Kill who?" G.NA asks curiously. "Penny?" she guesses, reading off the phone.

"Not Penny. My Canadian friend," you reply, and answer the phone. "Hey. Did you just wake up?"

"Hey. Yeah, pretty much. I forgot you wouldn't be able to get in," Peniel says sheepishly. "So call me when you get to the building, alright? I'll open the door for you."

"Sure," you agree impishly.

"Why are you awake, anyway? I know how much you love your sleep."

"I had to see the guys off. They're going to China for a week."

"Ah, EXO?"

"Yeah. Actually, you call me when you're there. I might come a little earlier, since I'm up anyway."

"Mkay. See you later~"

"Mm, bye Penny~" You hang up with a smirk on your face.

"So you do know EXO," Hyunseung says as soon as you're off the phone. "Kris is your Canadian friend who set that ringtone, right?"

"You're a smart one," you note with a small laugh. "Yeah, I was visiting him that day when they went to Weekly Idol. They left to China earlier this morning, which is why I'm up so early."

"What about Penny?" G.NA asks. "Does Penny have some relationship with the industry as well?"

Before you can answer, Seungwoo appears at the door. "Jin Ae-ssi, the CEO is here."
