A/N: Remember the different colors for languages. Blue is English, red is Chinese, orange is Cantonese, black is Korean.

"Omo," you hear a gasp at the door.

Still agonizing over the snacks, Lay doesn't look up. Xiumin and Suho, at the counter, are too far away to hear.

Kris makes to turn around but you move suddenly, as if stumbling into him. He stops. "Oh, sorry!" You apologize loudly. Your eyes are serious, warning him, but your voice is cheerful. Don't turn around. He nods slightly and moves to the other members, speaking quietly.

You turn to see a girl around your age at the door. She's clutching her phone and is about to step inside, evidently to take photos.

You beam at her. "Omo! Serim-ah, I haven't seen you in ages! We need to catch up!" You sling an arm around her and bring her outside as she struggles against you, surprised and irritated.

"Stop, what are you doing?" She cries.

"Serim-ah, it's me, your unnie! Don't you recognize me? We were in the same class in high school!" You act insulted.

"I don't even know you!"

As the two of you struggle, from the corner of your eye you see the four boys silently slip out of the store. Unfortunately, she does too.

"Oppa! Oppa!" She screams, straining against you. "Lay oppa!"

Passers-by turn and stare. There's a group of teenage girls approaching at a sprint, each taking out their phones. You disentangle yourself from the girl and run to the others.

"Yah, run!" You push Kris before you as the five of you flee. Fortunately, the convenience store is not far from the dorm, and after a couple of detours to confuse the pursuing fans, the five of you reach the building, panting.

"See what I mean?" You flap your hand at them. "She couldn't even see your faces at first, but the clothes drew her attention," you point out as you enter EXO-K's dorm.

Not surprisingly, an onslaught of sound greets you. "Yah yah yah- Goddammit did you really have to kill me again?" Chanyeol wails as his character blows up on the screen of the TV.

Only Chen turns around as you enter. "Did something happen?" He asks, taking in your frazzled expressions.

"We were recognized again," Suho sighs, sitting down heavily. "Let me play."

"Ah, again?" Baekhyun shakes his head. "And at the convenience store too. Do you remember that time on Showtime when I went to do that mission and I ended up going back with a bouquet of flowers?"

"But that was during filming, not off schedule," Kris complains. "I wish we could just have a little alone time occasionally."

"Just dress normally, act normally and you're set," you tell them. "It's the clothes," you insist. "Granted, they'll still recognize you at some point but you won't draw their interest at first glance."

"You're kidding me… Look at this," Xiumin beckons. He sits in front of Chanyeol's laptop, scrolling through something.

"No way…" Lay breathes. "So soon? How?"

It's a post that's just beginning to go viral, made by an anonymous user. "EXO's Kris, Lay, Suho, and Xiumin spotted with a girl, speculated to be the same one from this morning's scandal with Luhan." It's followed by pictures of you running with the others. "One witness says she was assaulted by the girl as she was trying to take a photo of the four members."

"Oh my god," Kris groans. "Manager hyung is going to kill me! How am I supposed to explain this?" He turns to Suho. "Yah, Joonmyeon-ah, it's up to you now."

"Ah, wae!" He cries as his character falls to the ground, dead.

"Don't bring it up," you suggest. "Let's hope he doesn't notice. It never happened."

At that, Kris deflates even more. "I'm sorry, 寶貝. You've been here less than a week and already this is happening. You don't even know anything about us. It's just so unfair."

"Chill out, dude, it's okay. Like I said, I can take care of myself." You change the topic. "Aren't the others back yet?"

The door opens. "We're back~" Luhan and Sehun announce. They walk in carrying flowers and sipping their bubble teas.

"Ambushed, by the looks of it," you observe.

"You lot too." Luhan narrows his eyes.

"We ran," you answer bluntly. "So you guys don't always find the attention unwelcome?"

"It's alright sometimes. But sometimes I just can't deal with the pressure," Kris admits. "I love our fans, I really do, but it gets overwhelming. Especially when we're tired from promotions."

Luhan nods. "Also, sometimes when they give big gifts, I feel bad."

You wrinkle your nose. "Why would they waste your money on you?" You tease them.

"Yah." Kris swipes at you. "Mean."

"Are the others not back yet?" Sehun asks.

"I think the movie is still going," Chen answers, eyes on the screen.

"Ah, I see," he nods and settles on the couch. "WHOO, Chanyeol hyung!" He cheers.

"Want some?" Luhan offers you his bubble tea.

"Sure."

Meanwhile, the boys at the cinema are finding it hard to concentrate on the movie because of the people being loud around them.

"Kai oppa! Kai oppa!"

"Kyungsoo oppa!"

"Tao! Tao!"

They finally relax when the disturbance-makers are escorted out of the cinema by security guards, but it's already halfway through the movie.

D.O. sighs. "Let's watch it again with the members, I guess."

Tao pouts. "I couldn't even hear the Do You Want to Build a Snowman bit!"

Kai agrees. "Yeah, we'll have to watch it again at the dorm."

Kyungsoo looks calm but he's internally fuming. This is why I go watch movies at midnight, alone.

The nine members in the dorm have decided that you should get to know their music. However, they can't decide which music video to begin with.

"Definitely Growl," Kris asserts.

"One take?" Luhan asks.

"M or K?" Xiumin asks.

"Wolf," Lay suggests.

"Drama version?" Chanyeol and Sehun ask.

"I'm not even in that one!" Kris.

"M or K?" Minseok again.

"Miracles in December!" Baekhyun and Chen chorus, joined by Luhan.

"M or K?" Guess who.

"Two moons," Lay grins.

They're interrupted by the sudden sound of someone speaking from the computer. It's the narration at the beginning of the MAMA music video, Chinese version, which was the oldest video that came up when you typed in EXO music video. You watch, fascinated.

They watch in horror.

"Oh god, no, that damn narration," Sehun groans. "It makes me curl."

"Jewel, please, just skip the awkward English narration," Kris pleads.

"Yah, why the Chinese version?" Baekhyun demands.

"She likes me better," Kris smirks.

You roll your eyes. "I may have a bit of a bias towards EXO-M because of Kris," you admit. "Don't worry, you'll catch up soon."

"Finally, it's over," Sehun gripes.

"Ah, what is this?" You wonder out loud, bewildered at the cult-like scene on the screen. "Lay, why are you a unicorn?"

"Um… I don't know?"

You burst out laughing and pause the video. "Kris, why in the world would they peg you as the dragon?"

"Yah, I'll have you know that I'm very fierce, okay?" He furrows his brow at you.

"Yah, concentrate," Luhan pouts. You have paused the video on his face.

"Aw, you cutie." You comply.

When the video ends, you click the link on the side leading to the Korean version. You find it adorable how the members lean in as if seeing the video for the first time. Every time Baekhyun makes an appearance on screen, he looks at you as if to check you're paying attention. Chanyeol just sits there, grinning happily, yet with a look in his eye as if reliving the era. Sehun gazes at the screen, impassive.

"Go watch Growl!" Lay pipes up as soon as the song ends.

"Yah, she should watch them in order," Xiumin argues.

"But Growl is the best!" Chen exclaims.

"Wait wait wait," you stop them.

They look at you.

"Can I get something straight?" You take a breath and spew out what you learned. "So Kris is dragon, Lay is healing unicorn, Xiumin is ice, Luhan is telekinesis, Chen is lightning, and Tao is time control/martial artist?"

They nod blankly. You continue.

"Joonmyeon is water, Jongin is teleportation, Sehun is wind, Kyungsoo is earth, Chanyeol is phoenix, and Baekhyun is light?"

They nod again.

"But…" They lean forward expectantly. "…why?"

Collective blankness.

"Uh…" Suho wavers. "Just…"

"Because we're awesome?" Chanyeol ventures.

"How do you remember all of them so quickly?" Lay asks in awe.

You blink at him.

"Uh, I don't know why," he says after a moment.

You're utterly confused by the promotional tactics of their company, and you tell them that.

"Well…" Kris hesitates.

"We had 23 teasers." Baekhyun raises his hand out of the blue.

"Wow, your company has really invested a lot in you," you observe.

"Yes, Mr. Lee Soo Man really takes care of us," Suho agrees.

Not the same thing, but whatever suits you, I guess.

"So which one should I watch now?"

"History!" Chen jumps in before anyone else can speak.

"Araso." You click the link as the front door opens.

"We're back," Kyungsoo calls glumly.

"We brought popcorn," Kai announces quietly, equally gloomy.

Tao just pouts.

"A lot of people?" Suho asks sympathetically.

"A lot… We were recognized." Kyungsoo flops on the couch. "What are you doing?"

"Hahaha, Lu-哥, your costume," Tao laughs, pointing at the screen.

You're almost in tears. "Bambi, what in the world are you wearing?" You gesture at the rows of leather on his neck. "What is that?"

Luhan shrugs innocently. "Not my decision."

The thirteen of you cluster around the computer, game abandoned, as you finish the both versions of History.

"Wolf now," Chanyeol claps his hands excitedly.

"Araso."

You're surprised by the difference in style, and impressed. "I like this video a lot more than the other two," you tell them. "But the song… What is that ridiculous saranghaeyo that appears in both versions? And really… I'm a wolf, I'm a wolf?" You shake your head sadly.

"But the dance," Kai says insistently.

"It's nice," you nod absentmindedly, continuing quickly onto Growl.

"Yah, we practiced that for 3-4 months," Kris smacks your head lightly.

"That's crazy," you tell him. "Good job, though I don't see why it would take that long."

They just look at you, vaguely insulted.

You raise your hands in surrender. "I've never tried dancing before, excuse my ignorance, sorry~" You make a V with your fingers and grin sheepishly.

Any negative feelings immediate vanish as you do so. "Ah, the killer aegyo appeared," Kris winces. "Yah, Jagi, I always thought you would be good at it, but this is the first time."

"Ah, really? It must be… You guys bring out the weird in me, I guess," you stick out your tongue at them.

"Enough of that, Growl now," Kris points firmly at the computer. "Go go!"

"Araso, duizhang~"

You click the one take version, Chinese.

You're attracted by the beat as soon as the music starts. Unconsciously, your head starts bobbing slightly. The twelve boys around you grin at each other when they notice.

"Ah, kyeopta~" Baekhyun giggles to Chanyeol. The latter's endless smile grows wider.

Wide-eyed, you follow the travels of the cap between members, unblinking as the camera whirls around. When the video ends, you have no reaction but to click the Korean version immediately, then the Chinese 2nd version, followed by Korean. During the latter two you momentarily stop breathing at each of the close-up shots. It shocks you, their charisma. So not evident as they sit here now, with you, leaning in like children around a candy bar.

"Wow," is all you say as you lean back, processing the videos through your head. "Wo-ow."

"Just… wow?" Joonmyeon asks tentatively when you don't continue. "Is that a good or bad wow?"

"I think I can understand why fans are so into you." You ponder this tidbit as you look around and meet each of the members' gazes. "I mean, why they want to follow you around all day-"

The members' expectant looks turn to those of disbelief.
