Kiseop and I wandered around the island for days and by day 10, we decided that this time, we walk around the shoreline instead. Thanks to the herbs and rest, I don't have to prop Kiseop with my shoulder now. We're both limping but at least we can walk without assistance. As we walked, I suddenly stated,

"Kevin told me, that everything that I had in the past was an illusion."

"Oh yeah, that." he muttered.

"What broke the illusion?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, after so many years, the illusion has made me think that I was living a regular and peaceful life. What suddenly broke it?" Kiseop thought about it for a bit, then replied,

"Well, i'm not entirely sure. Remember that I told you that you had powers and that you're body was able to hold it off for a certain period of time?" I nodded. "well, I think that it had something to do with your powers slowly fighting against your body to cause an awakening which broke the illusion and protected you from the Shadogs." I thought about it for a moment. It seemed like it made sense and yet it didn’t. As we walked, a huge cloud of smoke blew into our face causing us to swat the air and cough.

"I thought that you blew out the fire this morning!" I said coughing.

"I did!" he replied. I walked forward and fought through the smoke. Kiseop followed. When we reached to the origin of the smoke, I saw Soohyun sleeping on the ground.

"Soohyun!" I screamed with joy and Soohyun woke up startled."You're alive!"

"Same goes for you! And Kiseop! You're alive too! Thank god!" Soohyun exclaimed.

"Where are the others?" Kiseop asked.

"Most of them are dead from either the crash, or by drowning. I was able to find everyone else besides you two. Apparently, you two were the only ones that we got separated from. The rest were either floating in the water face first, dead, or lying on the beach dead or half alive."

"Where are the alive ones then?" I asked.

"Sunny, Yoona and Sooyoung went to go collect herbs, AJ, Joo-hyun and Taeyeon went to go collect food, I came back early from collecting firewood and Eli and Kevin went on a search party for you two." I flinched a bit when I heard that Kevin was still alive but I managed to not make it too obvious. Then, Sunny and Sooyoung came back with batches of leaves. When Sunny saw me, she ran over first thing, dropped all the leaves next to me, and hugged me tightly causing me to flinch and push her away. I clutched onto my right side, kneeled on the floor and curled up.

"Are you okay Yuri?" she asked worryingly.

"Yeah" I lied. "just a stomachache."

"You better get some rest." Sooyoung chimed.

"I will. Thanks." I replied. Soon, one by one, everyone made their way back. Including Kevin. As we sat together for dinner, Soohyun announced,

"Okay crew. Since we have everyone, lets make a toast. To our brave fallen family members." he says raising his cup in the air and in agreement, we all lifted our cups and repeated,

"To our brave fallen family members." and we all drank our water in one gulp. Then Soohyun sat down and said,

"We cannot stay stuck on this island forever. We need to escape it."

"But how?" Sunny asked.

"We can make a raft." AJ exclaimed. " but it's going to take a couple of days."

"Then we'll make a raft." Soohyun decided. "We can start tomorrow. Objections?" Seohyun paused and waited for some answers but no one said a word. "Then it has been decided. Get some rest everyone. We have long days ahead of us." and with that, everyone went to work early next morning. All the boys were responsible for getting the wood and all the girls had to cut vines down from the forest and had to make sure that they were sturdy enough and would hold. Everyone used helicopter debris or weapons that they found still useful and started to work. As Sunny and I were collecting vines, she stated,

“Kevin is pretty cute huh?” I blushed to her statement. But then stopped when I thought about what he told me back on the balcony. Then I decided to answer her with

“Yeah. I guess.” She looked at me seriously in the eye and whispered,

“You guess? What happened to telling me and Jessica over and over again about how dreamy he was?” Then I blushed, regretting about every single time that I told them about how much I liked him. I was speechless. I couldn’t say anymore. There was nothing to say.

“Hey, I think that Eli is cute! How dare you think that Kevin is better than Eli-yah!” Sooyoung suddenly chimed.

“That jerk?” I stated. “He’s so annoying, he teases me all the time, and makes a fool out of me everytime I have friends over. There’s no way that I would see his as ‘cute’.”

“That’s what makes him sooo cute!” Sooyoung explained. Sunny and I look at her in disgusted, giving her an ‘are you serious?’ look. Then Taeyeon chimed in.

“AJ is cute too! He’s smart, talented and really nice!”

‘Wait, why are we suddenly talking about boys? I feel like we’re fangirling over them.” I mentioned. Everyone looks at me as I stare off into the distance wondering. But not caring about what I just said, Yoona just starts to wonder asking,

“Who’s your favourite then Yuri?” I look at her in awe.

“What do you mean?”

“You know exactly what I mean.” Yoona stares at me suspiciously.

“Mine is AJ!” Taeyeon says.

“Eli!” Sooyoung yelled.

“Kevin!” shouted Sunny and Joo-hyun. Then I stare in awe.

“Wait, I just realized that you guys voted for everyone else but Kiseop. Why is that?” I wondered.

“Kiseop’s a jerk.” Joo-hyun says.

“Yeah, he’s mean to all of us girls.” Yoona says.

“Eh… Yuri? No one likes Kiseop in general. At least not the girls.” Sunny tells me.

“Oh.” I said. But then come to think of it, they’re all right. He is a jerk. Then Taeyeon snapped me out of my thinking saying,

“Who are you voting for then?” I stare at her in awe. I really don’t know.

“I don’t know.” I finally said.
