When Shin hye going home with seung ho, Yong hwa just walking around the town. Even he have his motorbike, he choose to walk on the warm afternoon that filled of fresh air. 

“Huuhhh.. How nice the weather, this afternoon” Yong hwa take a deep breath

But, his mood already ruining by a a group of guy who block his way

“Hey, kids.. take all out  your money..” said the boss of gangster

But yong hwa just give him his mischievous smirk

“Ougghh.. Look at this little bastard..” the another guy said

“Are you just smirking over us ?” the boss walk forward to yong hwa’s direction

“If yes, what ?!” yong hwa challenging them

“Tchh..kyaaa..” the gangster don’t believe him for not getting frightened even he being around with 4 big guys.. “Woaahh.. Kyaa.. You boy, don’t you afraid of us ?”

“Mwo ?! Afraid?” yong hwa look at them all from head to toe “I don’t know”  he shrug

The boss of gangster widen his eyes “This Sekiya! Are you that brave to dig your own grave?!” he burst out

“Let us see, who will kill and get killed ?” yong hwa said and then smile

“You Moron, you’re speaking nonchalantly to people who might kill you?!! Expect to receive some severe brain injures!” the another guy said

“Just see..” Yong hwa smirk “But for you know, i’ve been beaten into a pulp at school.. So, you’re just like another nitwit group who proudly said that they’re can’t beaten up”

 “M..MWO?! Aiissh” the boss has already boiling up his temper “I was going to leave you with just brain injure, but.. It’s not anymore!’

“Hit ME Guys!” yong hwa calmly said

Just then ~BUKKK~ the guy hit yong hwa with a wooden stick on his arm, fortunately yong hwa restrain that all

But, it can’t stop like that, the another guy try to kick yong hwa and punch his handsome face. But, they’re too slow for getting him, because yong hwa always repulse their hit until

~BRUUKK~ there’s a guy who hit yong hwa’s back head with something hard until he fall to the ground

“Oh?!” yong hwa shock with the hit, cause it the same feeling he got when he and woo bin try chasing his sister

 

*****FLASHBACK*****

Kim woo bin played the football by himself on the empty field. He has to workout for his next Soccer Champion for their Junior High school competition which are selected for become the national Junior team.

“Woo bin-ah” the boy called him when woo bin tried to catch a ball.

“Oh?! Yong hwa-ah... Good you’re here. Come, let’s play” Woo bin asked his bestie for duel

“No! Not Now?! You must follow me now!” Yong hwa panicked

“Kyaa.. Wae Geaurae? Why you look some worried?” Woo bin stopped his playing

“Your... Your sister”

“Huh?! My sister.. My little sister ?”

“There’s so many guys in front of your house.. They’re seem to get your sister” this word made woo bin widely opened his eyes.

“Mwo?! Are you serious?” woo bin run to yong hwa

“Come with me..  Come on”  Yong hwa commanded, and without long thinking he run as fast as possible

 

 In that middle of a cold dark night , there was nothing but only road lamp accompany the two boys who are running like crazy to the house, as mean Woo bin’s house. Since it’s only 5 blocks the distance between the field to his house, they only need 5 minutes to get there for running.

But, when they got there, across over the way of his house.. The two black suit guy already harshly took Kim Sae Ron (Woo bin’s sister) to the car.

“Sae ron-ah..” Woo bin called

“Oppa” the little girl called when noticed his brother’s presence

“Just get in...” the guy pushed sae ron to get in the car

“Sae ron-ah.. No...”

“Oppa.. Woo bin oppa.. Oppa” cried the little girl

Since Sae ron tried to escape from the guys, a guy with his big body carry her and the another guy also enter the car. Then he closed the door and start to drove.

Scared couldn’t have to catch his only one sister, woo bin start running “No.. Saeron-ah.. Wait...” he shouted while hurriedly run across the full road. Yeah, their house were on  main street of the city. So many car and truck pass this traffic lane. But as if not concerned with the full vehicles, Woo bin only run to help his sister until....

“Woo bin-ah”

Yong hwa held woo bin by his body, they’re in the middle of full vehicles. Yong hwa want to stop woo bin who would get hit by a car. But fortunately the car stopped only a few inch from them.

But it’s not stopped like that only...

Just then, before they knowing there a motorbike across from another side.. Because shocked by the suddenly stop, the guy on that motorbike lost control and hit woo bin harshly until woo bin flung away to the other side and yong hwa hit the car which beside him and his back head hit the front of the car.

“Woo bin-ah” Yong hwa calling the faint woo bin when himself lying on the ground at the road and he tried to get up to approach him. But because the hard hit he got,he couldn’t even moved his hand.

“Woo-......” after he hardly tried to get up at last he collapsed.

 

After 3 weeks on coma, finally woo bin woke up. He has been hospitalized after the accident due his a lot of  stone bruise and leg injured.

“arrgghh” Woo bin groan because of headache and pain on his right leg.

“Oh.. Finally you wake up. Are you okay? Need something?” the nurse ask when she checked on him

“Yeah.. I’m okay. But how can i get there?” Woo bin observe the room and his hospital outfit. “You got accident 3 weeks ago.. And you need treatment due your injured” the nurse explained

Woo bin remembered something and tried to get up but his leg truly pain and he couldn’t even move it “Oughh” he groan

The nurse shock and got near to him “Wae ? Are you  feel hurt?” the nurse concerned

“My right leg.. It’s hurt, but i need to catch my little sister.. I need to-” he hardly tried to get up but ‘Arrrggghh”

The nurse helping him “ No please, you can’t move. Your leg is still injured”

“No.. I have to get my little sister.. She need me now” he struggle

‘No, boy.. Please, no..”

“Let go of me! Let go!!” Woo bin keep struggling but suddenly “ Arrggghh!!!” the pain on his leg more hurting him

The nurse panicked and hurriedly called the doctor “Doctor.. Please doctor, come here”

“Arrgghhh..” woo bin scream in pain

 

After the doctor gave woo bin some painkiller, he finally more calmed. He just rest and laid his body on the bed.

‘Oh.. Suster...” woo bin called the nurse when she had been going out

“nde.. Waeyo?”

“Is there another patient that hospitalized here? I mean... My friend.. He must get injured also, how is he ?”

“Oh.. Jung yong hwa-ssi?”

“Hmm”

“He’s fine... ” the nurse answer awkwardly “I think..” the nurse mumbling without heard by woo bin

“But, is he still here?”

“Oh no.. He’s already recharged from 2 weeks ago.. He often visited you, i think he’ll come here” the nurse looking at her watch “Actually this time he must been here, but why he doesn’t come yet?” she looking around

“oh it’s so relief.. But, suster what happened with me ? Why my right leg fell so hurt?” Woo bin anxiously waited the answer

“Oh that is because your leg got hit by the motorcycle so your shinbone and leg joint broken.. I mean Compound Fracture”

“Is that bad ? Can i use my leg well later, i mean can it heal later ?”

The nurse confuse to answer “Oh.. That’s....”

Woo bin can sense something from the nurse changed expression, it look like...

“Suster.. Is that truly bad?” he carefully asked the dozed nurse

“Oh?!” the nurse startled “That’s....”

“It’s can’t to be like that, i have competition and-” he remembered something “What’s date today ?”

“16 September..”

“No, only 1 week again.. I have to compete in my school... - and my sister.. My sister got kidnapped... She must be scared now” woo bin cried and want to get up again

 “Stop moving, you’ll hurting yourself more..” the nurse hug woo bin

“But, my sister.. Sae ron-ah... Sae ron” woo bin sobbed on the nurse hugged

“Husshh.. Calm down.. I’ll help you to find your sister.. Just rest okay” the nurse caressed woo bin head

‘Sae ron-ah.. Sae ron-ah” woo bin keep called his sister

‘Gwencahana.. Everything will be alright” the nurse consoled him

 

And on the outside of the room, yong hwa heard everything.. Everything since woo bin woke up, but he didn’t want to get in because he feel scared.. Scared and felt sorry for making woo bin like that.  

“mianhae.. Woo bin-ah... Cheongmal Mianhae...” yong hwa ran and left the hospital

*****End of flashback*****

 

“Arrggghhh”  yong hwa groan when the gangster kick all over his body

“You deserve this boy”  the guy kick yong hwa’s leg with the wooden stick

“You can’t escape from us now” said a guy who is kicking yong hwa’s stomach until he cough with so many blood coming out from his mouth

“Kill him guys” the boss said and the gangster harshly kick yong hwa’s body

But before yong hwa lost his conscious, there two cops stopping the guys.. The cops chasing them

‘Oh my, there’s cops guys.. Let’s run” the boss said when heard the sound of cops whistle

Meanwhile, yong hwa try to get up “Argghh” he feel pain all over his body

~Cough~ There so many blood spurt out from his mouth when cough “Aisshhh” he wipe his mouth

Then he search his phone and press the number 1 fast dialing on his phone

On other hand, After shin hye give the wallet to her mom, shin hye just staying at her room.. But her heart feeling unease, she feel something wrong but don’t know what was that

“Aisshh,, what happen to me? Why i feel like this ?”  then she going down to get a glass of water

“Maybe i just catch a cold” she thought and want to gulp her drink before..

~~Beep..Beep~~ her phone ringing

“AIsshh.. What’s now ?!” she look to the id number, at first he think it should be her mom but

“Eeh?! It’s Yong hwa.. Good you’re calling now!!”

“Kyaaa!!.. Where have you been ? Why didn’t you go to school today?” she scolded him

“Shin hye-ah” Yong hwa said with his husky voice

‘Eeh?! What’s wrong with your voice?!”

~Cough~ “I can’t get home alone, please help me.. Shinnie” he said like whispering

‘Kya!! Waegeurae??”

“Please get me in front of the old building near the park”

Then the line is off

“yeobseo! Yeobseo.. Yong hwa-ah.. Yong hwa-ah”  Shin hye panicked and then she hurriedly run outside while sobbing

 

‘What’s going on ? It’s the first time i’ve heard yong sound so sick. What the hell happened?’ Shin hye thought while running like crazy to the park

‘ Idiot’s.. How can you suffering yourself if you just alone.. You better not to be seriously injured’ shin hye keep crying

And when  she get to main street, there a car honks on her

“Shin hye!” the person calling and make shin hye turning to facing him

 When she can notice whose that’s car, shin hye get into the car

“Where are you go-” he shock when see her in a mess “What happened? Why are you crying?!’

“Oppa, please give me a ride to the park.. Please..” shin hye said with her hard catching breath ‘Please, min ho opaa..”

“Sure, but-” Min ho started his car when he know it’s not a good timing to ask her, cause there so much worried clearly defined on her face

“Yong..Yong-” shin hye murmuring with her mind keep worrying him

 

When they’re get there, Shin hye hurriedly searching him.. And her heart like stop beating when see the lying yong hwa on the ground look so pain and on a mess

“YONG!!!” shin hye scream and kneeling down beside him

“Oh, girl.. Are you his guardian?” the cops ask

“What happened to him ahjussi?”

“He got beaten up with the gangster.. But, i can’t believing him either.. What kind of student has such strong presence? Even though he got hit so badly like that, he wouldn’t want budge when i asked him to go to hospital with me” the cops explaining

“I told him that his handsome face would become ruined if he doesn’t go to the hospital quickly.. But he still insist not want to.. And said that someone’s coming and he has to wait while he was bearing all this pain.. Poor Him” the cops added

“Oh My GOD, how idiot you’re?! Yong.. Yong. Are you okay ?!” shin hye shake his body a little bit

“I’m here.. I’m here now so please get up, yong” shin hye said keep sobbing and hold his hand tightly

Min ho nearing them “These days highs school student are really scary.. How can they punch him until he’s in this state”

“Yong hwa-ah.. Wake up.. Please.. Yong wake-” she stop whining when feel his hand start to move and slowly he open his eyes “Are you awake.. Yong”

“Shinnie.. Let’s.. Let’s go home.. Shinnie” yong hwa said like whispering and the he fainted

“Idiot! Why are you in injured so badly? If you had just returned home nothing would have happened, why do you go around getting punch.. It upsets me..” she continue sobbing

“Shhh.. Shin hye-ah” Min ho consoling her “Stop crying and let’s move him to the hospital first” he suggest

“Nde Oppa”

 

On the Hospital

Shin hye sit beside yong hwa’s bed.. She keep looking at him and wait for him to wake up.. Even he look more calmed now, but shin hye still worried and afraid if something worst happen to him

Min ho who already finish arranging all the things, get in to the room to see them “Kwenchana.. He’ll be alright.. Because he’s such a healthy boy, the doctor said he will heal in a few days. Don’t worry too much, Shin hye” he consoling her who look truly pale and worried over him

“Oh yeah! Shin hye, you haven’t eaten dinner yet, have you ? You must be hungry. I’ll buying you something delicious” he ask her

“I can’t oppa.. I have to stay here...”

“Your parents will come soon.. He just feel asleep so it’ll be okay, And i’m also feeling slightly hugry. Let’s go eat together”

“I can’t oppa.. I have to hold yong’s hand for him..”

“Mwo?!” Min ho startled with her statement

“When i was in pain or had hardships.. Yong hwa always held my hand for me.. He held my hand tightly like this..” shin hye intertwine their hands

“No one held it for me.. No one knew my pain and sadness.. And no one tried to know about it.. Except Yonghwa.. Only he knew.. He knew and reached out for my hand” shin hye said while staring at yong hwa lovely while remindscening the moment yong hwa console her when she miss her father

“But now, yong hwa is very injured... I have to hold his hand for him.. I’ve to hold yong’s hand until he wake up, oppa...” she look on yong hwa with her worried expression

On other hand, Min ho can sense something with the way shin hye staring and saying all the word toward yong hwa.. And his mind more suspect when he see shin hye on her barefoot without any sandals or shoes covering her feet.. She must be truly worried about him and forgetting about herself.. And on her feet look some stretch because she have running on the asphalt before.

‘Shin.. It can’t be .. You can’t be..’ he thought while staring at her unbelieving..

‘It’s not like what i think right ? I’m imagining weird things, just now i was thinking you two like a couple..But-’ he stare to the both of young sibling, from what he can see, he surely know that shin hye has yong hwa on her special corner of her deep heart

‘But, after all.. It’s not possible for them to like each other. They aren’t blood-related sibling and lived together for 5 years.. There’s no way you could have develop such nonsensical feelings for him, right shin hye? I can belive in this right?’

Min ho still on his deep thought until the door suddenly open

“Yong! Yong! Are you injured badly?” Eomma said while Appa walking side by side with her

It startled Shin hye, so when the parents get in, Shin hye suddenly let go from his hand and immediately standing beside Min ho

“Omona.. Omo.. What kind of hoodlum-like guys made yong hwa like this ?” Eomma shock looking at her son face

“Yeobo, relax” Appa tried to calm the worried eomma.. Even he is not her own son, but looking him suffering make her hurt also

Minho who is standing beside Shin hye can see clearly the dozen off sister,

She lift up her hand which held yong’s hand before ‘i finally realized.. All this time, i had been lying to myself’ she said to herself

‘i actually like yong hwa too.. Maybe even more than Yong likes me’ the tears filled up her big shining eyes

‘I like him.. But i can’t express my feeling to him.. Because-’ she look up to her eomma who is crying beside yong’s bad

‘Eomma already accepts him as her son.. I.. I.. How can i do that to eomma? I can’t possibly do something to betray her... So, for now’ Shin hye without a word leaving the room make the people there confuse

“Shin..Shin hye” Min ho calling her, but it’s too late cause shin hye already running outside from the hospital

‘For now, i just have to forget about this feelings. Like there was nothing happen from the beginning’

Shin hye running crazily on the heavy raining.. The raining which seem like her’s feeling, the raining that pouring her whole body that make her wet on the crowd of the city
