Finally Yong hwa has finished his shower. He is going down and join the family meal at dinning room. He sits across shin hye who is looking away when he stare straight into her eyes.

“The whole family has finally gathered! It’s not much, but i hope you guys enjoy” her mom excitedly said to them

“How’s this called ‘Not Much?’ did you secretly order all the food from buffet or something ?! I bet you did” shin hye can’t believe if her mom will cook this food. For what she know her mom never served the food before. When her birth dad still with them, the servant always prepare the food and she always going out with her friends

Shin hye mother pinch on shin hye’s waist “Sh...Shut up and eat already!! Hohoho”

Yong’s father only laugh looking at their habit “Haha.. This is a bit too much. I told you, i’m happy with miyeokuk*Soup of seaweed”

“You deserve the best, it’s your birthday” her mom said sweetly

“Ndee.. Gomawo, honey” yong’s father smile sweetly and grab the food “Whoa! My favorite crab with soy sauce” he munch the food

“Eat as much as you’d like, darling” her mom feed him and the father enjoying the food peacefully

Yong hwa feel annoying by looking at them “This tastes so bad. I lost my appetite”

Yong’s father turning to him “What’s that?!”

Shin hye who can see the bad atmosphere between them, try to melting the situation “Eeh?! Nothing, Yong wants to congrats your birthday, father..” she smile awkwardly to yong’s father “Am i right, yong” then she facing him

Yong hwa glare at her like he want to said Want to Die ?! 

Shin hye only bit her lower lips “Ahh~~” then she remembering something “Come to think, i want to say congrats too! Here’s a little gift for you” she hand over the gift

“Thank you. It’s a gift from my greatest daughter. I’ll use it well, whatever it is” he receive the gift happily. And then he facing yong hwa “But.. You.. Do you have nothing to give me, yong?”

“You didn’t give me allowance, how can i have bought something without money?” he said lazily

Yong’s father already on his anger “What ? Do you think Shin hye got this for me because she did ? What’s important is the thought, the thought!”

“Tch.. Whatever” he not care over his father and he a bowl to shin hye “Hey, go and get me a bowl of rice. Full of the rims”

Shin hye lifting her eyebrow “Tchh.. Beast, you already finished up a bowl of rice?” she murmur and want to get the bowl after..

“Oho! So nice to see yong hwa has a great appetite. Here, i’ll do it” shin hye’s mom get the bowl. But before she grab it, yong hwa throw back his hand

“No.. Thanks Ahjumma.. You made me lose my appetite” he said without looking at her.

“Hey, you ungrateful son. How can you say the think to your mother?!” yong’s father can’t keep his patience anymore 

“Darling. Don’t scream on such a great day! It’s just a little awkward for him to call me mom. It’s nothing” shin hye’s mom try to calm yong’s father “Hey, shin hye. Please go get yong a bowl of rice by yourself” she order

“Ndee” shin hye nodded and start to put the rice on the bowl

“It’s long enough for you to started calling your eomma, eomma. Try being like shin hye!” the father angrily said

Yong hwa stand up from his seat “Why do i have to obey in a remarriage that i had absolutely zero interest in? Don’t misunderstand, i’ve never been seen for this remarriage” he leave the table

“Kya!!! C’mere right now young man. I’m still talking with you!!” the father immediately standing up from his seat

“Darling, Calm down. It’s my fault for asking in the first place” shin hye’s mother hold him

“Shin hye, eat up. Want some more soup ?” the mother ask her

“No, thanks eomma”

Yong’s father slowly calming down, he take seat again. “I’m sorry darling, i spoiled my son. It felt like he felt so sad because his mom left him. So let him do as he pleased. I’m sorry, i’m sorry. You try so hard, but he never opens up. What a bad boy” he caress her hand

“No..no..no. I’m not sad at all. He’ll open up someday. It’s when you force one’s heart to open when problems occur. I can wait forever. So don’t blame it on the child” one of her hand caress his arm

 

Even her parents seem happy with their world, Shin hye can’t get happy with them. She eat her meal with her gloomy face

“It’s a good thing mom remarried. For this long years they never fought once. Not even a minor complaint has been heard” shin hye thought while playing with her food

“When we’d been living with dad, she’s always been fighting. And she’d never been able to smile once.” she remembering their time a few years ago.

Then she munch another food “I don’t taste any sort of flavor, the inside of my mouth feel dry and sandy, like rolling around in dessert. My taste buds are always like this on step-father birthday.....” she keep talking to herself

“I wonder if mom forgotten already, but today is my birth dad’s birthday as well......” her tears slowly streaming on her cheeks

 

One hour Later....

Shin hye going out from the gate.. On there, she meet Seung ho who seems just get there a while ago “That guy... How did he know where i live ?” she thought and come near to him

“Kya!! Want to die ?! Why did you ignore my calls?” he suddenly yell when look her appearance “Are you just going places like an idiot because i’ve ripped the contract?! Aren’t you remember that you’re my girl ?” he hold her arm

“Kya!! Stop it all. I’m not some toy!” she pushed off his arm “I ‘ve no time to play around with you. So go get some other chick! Move!” she push his body

“Stop playing hard to get poorass. What’s wrong with you and your acting?”

Shin hye already pissed off “I’m not playing hard to get! I really hate you! Are you deaf ? I-H-A-T-E-Y-O-U !!” she yell at the last sentence

Seung ho gasp “What?”

“Okay, listen it carefully!” Shin hye take a deep breath before she speak “The money, i’ll pay for you somehow. If nothing else, i’ll tell my mom by myself. So don’t ever bother me again!”

Seung ho become speechless, he don’t know what to say

“Don’t you get it? I hate even seeing your face.i don’t want to be a housemaid, and i don’t want to be your girlfriend” after finishing her word, shin hye leaving seung ho is still shock with her word

“My poorass, do you really hate me....” seung ho collapse on the road “Wae ?? Wae poorass ?! I’m handsome and i’m awesome.... No other girl has ever dumped me...” he act like a crazy boy

“Why poorass, why do you hate me ?” he yell loudly...

 

Shin hye already sit on the train. she try to call her mom to tell about her leaving

“Eomma ? It’s me. Yes, it’s Go ara’s house. Her parents are on trip so it’s bad for her to stay at her house alone.... Alright. Alright. I know... Ummm... Okay” she hang up

She put her phone on her chest “I’ve lied to mom.. Actually  i’m going to see my dad. To the little island where appa lies sleeping... Mianhae eomma, mianhae... Even it’s not my first time to see him, i still have to keep it as secret..

~~~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~~~~~~

Shin hye felt so lonely by the fact that her dad was no longer beside her. So she emptied her piggy bank and quietly left home.

At first she can think that she was safely not getting known by anyone about her leaving, but in truth there someone that following her until on the train station she get stopped by someone who is holding her arm.

“Hey, what are you doing in this kind of place?” the little boy said

Shin hye turning back “Yong....” she a bit shock

“Are you running away as well ?” the little yong hwa ask with his panicked expression with holding her arm tightly as well

“Let go! It hurts!” she try to release from his grip but with her weak strength she can’t defeated him

“Is it because i was mean to you? Is this another form of revenge?”

“Eeh?! What are you talking about ? I just.......” she remind silent

“Why ?”

“I just..... Miss appa...” while trying to say that, shin hye ended up crying. She crying in the crowded of the train's passengers.

Yong hwa holding her arm and patted her back softly to calm her “I’m sorry.. I’m sorry.. So, please don’t cry” for the first time yong hwa said sorry to her, and by looking at his act, he must have been so scared for he followed her

Shin hye already became calm so she walk to enter the train, cause the train almost get going. But she feel strange behind her, so she turning back “Yong ?!” she can’t believe that he still following her “Until when will you following me ?”

“Until you come back” he said

She looking forward again “I’m not running away! So, just go home!” she get in the train without looking at him back, because she think that he’ll get sick of it soon

 

45 minutes later, shin hye already arrived on her stopped. So she went down from the train, and when she walking around she saw the florist near the train, so she immediately get there.

“Ahh~~~” her eyes captured a beautiful spray rose “Uwahh~~~ Appa really loves this flower” then she bought it

Shin hye walk with her smile to the place of his dad. She can’t imagined how happy her father if he got the spray rose flower from her. But, When she get to the beach, her face become gloomy.

Step by step shin hye nearing the beach. “Appa.. How have you been doing ? It’s me Shin hye...” she said with tears covering her eyes.

She put the flower in the water “It’s your favorite flower... Smell it, it smells nice....”

She sat down on the sand and watching the flower that sinking into the sea. While she watching it, she can’t holding her tears anymore. She ended up crying, she gave utterance to feelings that she really miss her appa badly, she overflow her pain, her sorrowness. And without her knowing, there someone who is sadly looking at her from afar..

 A half hours later, shin hye could calm herself. The tears that streaming hardly on her face already stopped. So she went home, but when she got up she trembling and ended collapsed on the sand

“Aucchh~~” she groan “I’ve been sitting too long. I can’t seem to stand up by my self...urrgghhh” the she rubbed her eyes “Did i cry too much, it’s hard to open my eyes...”

“Are you done crying?” heard a boy voice asking

“Eeh?!” she looking at him “Are you....”

“tchhh.. Do you know how pathetic your face looks right now ?” he chuckle when look at her puffy face and swollen eyes

“Don’t laugh at me..” shin hye pouted

“Come...” he give hand to her

“Eeh ?!” she confuse

“I thought you can’t stand up by yourself..”

“Oh...” Then shin hye took his hand, so yong hwa helping her stood up. And on their way went home, yong’s warm hand never let go of her.

~~~~~~~~~~END FLASHBACK~~~~~~~~~~

 

“mmm...” shin hye slowly open her eyes. “Eehh..” she turning her face around, but no one in there anymore.

Then she looking through the window “Oh, i’m here already ? I should get off now!” she going down from the train. But the rain welcoming her

“Oh, how sad. It’s raining. I should go buy an umbrella” she looking around to find the store and she see one “Yay! An umbrella shop! I’m so lucky” she going there, but before she enter the store there someone who suddenly snatching her back

“Eeh?!” she jolt and the robber dash in hurry “Ah! My bag!” she panicked “Kya..kya..kaya.. You, thief! My bag! Help...” she scream but it seem no one caring about her, because the rain making her voice can’t be heard

“Aisshh....” she running after the thief. She run as fast as possible and bumped everyone who is in front of her.

But because the thief more fast than her, she can’t see even his nose anymore “Hu..huh..hu..” shin hye panting “That thief, where has he gone ?” she looking around

Shin hye already soaked in the hard raining, she let the rain pouring her wet body “I couldn’t have been worse off. It would be better if i was at somewhere like home” she sighing and start to walking

“Eottoke ? The phone, the wallet, everything was in the bag...” she thought “Shoul i tell the police... Ahh.. No.. No.. Then my mom will find out the secret that i came her...”

“Huuuhhhh” she exhaling sigh “i don’t have money! How can i go back home...”

Suddenly she stop walking “Ahh” she get an idea “That’s right.. I can call my friends to come here. Why didn’t i realize earlier?”

Shin hye rushing to get the phone booth, and she find one near the florist “Ahh~~ It’s the phone” she get into it “Who should i call ? Oh- Go Ara maybe? What was her number?” she try to remember but

“Aahh.. I can’t remember her number, because i kept calling her from speed dial” she become panicked “Then, Shi yoon?!” she think a while but still  “Ahhh.. I don’t know it too.. There’s no body whose phone number i’ve memorized!”

“What’s wrong with me and my head.....” she daze with hold the phone handle

“In the end, i have to go to the police..... But....... I don’t want my... Mom to know.... That’s something i absolutely don’t want” she try to put the phone back until she realize something

“Oh! There’s one number i know...” the last four digits is the same as his birthdate “Yong number.. But will he come, is the real question...” she considering “If i try and call him, he’ll probably fake a meeting.. It’s worth a try, though since..... He’s the last hope i have”

After long considering she finally try dialing his phone number

In other side

Yong hwa is having photoshoot with the member of Star Blue Angel. And the photographer appreciate him mostly.

“Great expression...” the director said “Great posing!” the photographer said while busily capture their photo

The member busily posing until

Beep..beep..beep... Yong hwa’s phone ringing

“ Hold on..” he interrupt and getting his phone

“Hello.. Who is this?” he pick up the phone

“Beep~~ No signal received from the other party. If you want to keep taking on the phone, press a number after the next beep..” the lady phone said

“whoever dared prank call me is going to die!” he shout on his phone

In other line “Ah! It worked! Yong ? Yong! Don’t hang up! It’s me, it’s me! Don’t hang up-please!”

“Shin hye, is that you?” he asking with his more calm voice

“Nde.. It’s me.. Don’t hang up” she pleaded

“Was it you? The person that called me with poor connections?”

“Well,it’s- i don’t have money.. I.. I don’t have money.. Ummm” she bite her lips

“What do you mean you don’t have money ?” he become  furious

“Well...” she try to explain but there someone interrupt them

“Mr. Yong... Aren’t you going to resume filming??” the manager told

“Idiot! Can’t you see i’m taking a call?” he angrily said

Shin hye feel a bit worry to bother him “Uhhh.. I’m sorry.. Am i bothering something?”

“It’s fine. Continue talking...”

“So....” shin hye telling the whole story to him. At first she was worried if he will get angry and feel annoyed with her. But by hearing his calm and kind voice it seem he listen her carefully. His voice is more calm than ever before, she overflow all her worried and tears fell out unknowingly on her cheeks while talking to him

“It’s like that..” she finishing tell him “But please, don’t tell mommy about it. I only memorized your phone number, so...”

“Ummm..” he nodded “Hey, where are you right now ?”

“eeh? Here.. In the phone booth in front of the train station near the florist” she said

“Don’t move and wait. I’ll be there in a moment” he order

“Ndee” she hang up and put the phone back “Yeah! This is good.... I didn’t expect yong will come.. How great” she thought with her shining eyes. Then she sit in the phone booth waiting for yong’s arriving “Come to think, he’s not that bad after all”

Meanwhile yong hwa busily get his clothes and suddenly go out from the studio in a rush

“Hey, yong...” jung shin calling him

The manager holding his arm to stop him from going out “Hey, where are you going? We’re still on the photoshoot”

“Manager! I can’t filming today. There’s an emergency. See you tomorrow” he release from his grip “See you too” he bid to Min hyuk and jung shin

“Ahh.. Nde” they don’t know what to do, since yong hwa always do whatever he want to without caring anyone.

 

The Patter of rain accompanying her in the phone booth. It’s already 20 minutes after she call him. But it seems no signal that he arrive on there

“Ohhh~~ Heol..” shin hye sighing because feel exhausted and suddenly her belly groan asking for getting enter by food “Ahh~~ I’m so hungry.. Hics hics..” she caressing her belly

“Why the rain still not want to stop..” she looking at the dark sky and then put her hand outside make the rain pouring her hand

Shin hye smiling look at her hand that get pouring by rain, it make her feel more relax and without her realizing there someone getting near to her

“Eeh?!” a guy said when he see her and then he getting near to her “Ohh...” he said and it make shin hye turning to him

Shin hye eyes widely open because of shock “You?!” she throw back her hand

“Ahahaha.. What a nice day i can meet you here.. Yong’s sister” woo bin said proudly

“Why.. Why.. Why are you in here ? Are you stalking on me?” shin hye ask

“Tchh.. Chincha” woo bin chuckle for her statement  “But what are you doing here ? Aren’t your beloved brother will worried about you?” he close his umbrella and stand in front of her

“Kyaa!! Why are you get in ?! Shoo” she said

Woo bin hold her shoulder and make her stand up nearly in front of him “Who said you can kick me out ?!” he said straightly stare on here eyes with their gaps only few inch to touch

“Kyaa.... You..y..o..u...” shin hye trembling

“me what ?” he ask

Shin hye move backward “Please.. Leave me alone...” she said with her teary eyes

“If no.. What?!” he said playfully and walking forward to her

Shin hye back already lean the he phone “I.. I.. Will...”

“You what ?” he lift up his eyebrow feel enjoy to

“I’ll......” she looking around and the idea suddenly popped out from her head “I’ll call the police...” she hold the phone’s handle

 “Tchhh..” he chuckle “Let we see, if the police will come  here fast.. Don’t you know how many time for police to get here? It will take a loooong time” he smirk looking at her panicked face

“Ndee??” even she don’t want to get into his trap she still ask

He lean her head to her ear “They will come after i eaten you up” he whisper

Shin hye eyes open widely, suddenly her body froze like statue on her place

Woo bin pulled back “So... What should we do now?”

Shin hye gulped hard

Woo bin try to hold her face until

“Woo bin-ah...” the lady called

Woo bin turn around and facing her “Ohh.. Nde, aunty..” he said

“What are you doing here ? Didn’t i ask you to buy a bucket of rose? We almost late for the ritual” she said softly

“Ahh.. Nde.. Mianhae aunty, i just greeting my friends..” he smile

“Eeh friends ?” she confuse

Woo bin getting out from the phone booth to make his aunty seeing her

“Oh.. This girl ?” she smile “Hello dear..” she smile sweetly

Shin hye still on her daze and then woo bin kick her feet to make her dazing out

“Aucchh~~” she angrily facing him

“kya... My aunty greeting you.. So you must greet her as well” he said to her

“Eeh?!” she turned around “Ahh~~ Ndee.. Park shin hye imnida” she bow

“Nde,, i’m his aunty.. You’re a kindly girl.. But sorry we’re in a hurry, you can visit to my house later.. See you soon shin hye” she bide to her

“Ahh~~ Ndee” she bow

Woo bin mouthed to her Let continue it later

Shin hye gasp “uh..Oh?!” shin hye become panick again. She don’t know what to do.. She don’t want to get trouble with him.. “Eeoh.. Eottoke ?! I hope i’ll never meet him later” she confuse and then collapse on her knees

“Aisshhh... Oh God.. Why my life must be get trouble every time.. Huuhhh” she hold her tears that start to falling down. “Yong.. Where are you ?” she hide her face on her knees

Suddenly there a guy enter the phone booth “Huuh.. Huhh.. Huhh..” the guy panting hardly “Are you... Okay ?” he ask with his wet body

Shin hye lifted up her face “Yong...”

"What are you do---" his word get cut by her sudden reaction

Shin hye stand up and hugging him tightly “Yong! You really did come like you said to me” she don’t even care if her body will get as wet as him “I was afraid you would forget...”

Yong hwa just froze on his place like a statue

For we knowing, The title for this drama is Pinochhio... Let waiting for the airing.. :))))))
