CHAPTER 4: First Meeting

The door opened, and Yoseob closed his eyes trying to contain his excitement, without saying a word, he hugged her tightly, kissed her cheek. He felt the girl stiffened in his arms.

He chuckled. “Yeobo, don’t you miss me? Why won’t you hug your oppa back?”

 “Ano ba?! (What the hell?!)”

~One month later~

Sa Ji’s POV

“Sa wakas! Natapos din. Wohooo!!” I exclaimed in relief as I stretched my arms. Finally I’m done arranging my stuff all over the apartment. I’ve been feeling so much excitement ever since I moved to my very own place this morning. Good thing Mr. Ahn gave me my salary earlier than I expected. He’s such a great manager.

I looked at my empty living room with satisfaction in my eyes. I walked over to my small kitchen noticing that I don’t even have a table; I smiled and thought about borrowing Mr. Ahn’s small coffee table.

“Hmnn.. I gotta list the things I’ll be needing..” I said, touching my chin. “..but first, I gotta pee!” I was about to open the bathroom door when I heard the doorbell rang.

Who could that be? ..Oh right! Minha unnie and Yoogeun would drop by at 4pm.. I looked at my wrist watch as I walked to the door. 12pm? Oh, my watch stopped. The battery must have been worn out already.   

Third person’s POV

“Yah. Hyung I’m gonna go out for awhile. I’m going to surprise her..” Yoseob happily said as he was going down the stairs. The other members just looked meaningfully at each other not knowing what to do.

“Yoseob-ah.. we just arrived. You should rest first,” Gikwang said with worry in his eyes.

“Gikwangie, I’m alright, I’m not tired. You know how she loves surprises!” Yoseob said ignoring Gikwang’s attempt to stop him.

Junhyung blocked Yoseob’s way to the door and said, “You babo. This has been happening too long now. Can’t you just accept-“ Doojoon got between the two and silently warned Junhyung with his eyes.

“Go ahead, Yoseobie. Be home before dinner, okay?” Doojoon said and looked  at Yoseob with a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. Yoseob gladly nodded and walked out of the house.

Junhyung massaged his temple and told Doojoon, “You shouldn’t have stopped me, hyung..”

“Just let him be for now..,” Doojoon said with a deep sigh as he went to the kitchen.

The other members sighed not knowing that they were all doing the same thing, looking at the front door with so much concern in their eyes.

Yoseob’s POV

I’m so excited to see her, I couldn’t help but feel butterflies in my stomach. It’s been a month since I’ve seen Yoo Ri’s angelic face so I really wanted to go see her as soon as we landed here in Korea.

“Oh tulips! Yoo Ri’s favorite.” I went into the flower shop and asked the ahjussi to give me a dozen tulips.

“Here you go, son.” I gave him the money and he handed me the bouquet of tulips.

I got out of the flower shop and immediately went on my way to Yoo Ri’s apartment building.

I can’t stop thinking about her reaction when she finally sees me on her doorstep. I bet she’d be so happy to see me, she’d hug me so tight and... I smiled to myself.

*sigh* The smell of tulips reminds me of her sweet familiar scent.. her soft brown locks.. her silky white skin.. her smooth hands.. and her infectious loveable smile.. *sigh* I’m thrilled to see her again!

As my thoughts of her went on and on, I realized that I was already entering Yoo Ri’s apartment building. I went straight to her floor and approached her apartment. I was kind of nervous since I only got to talk to her twice for the past month I was away. I guess, she got busy with her study.

 I took a deep breath and smiled before ringing the doorbell.

I’m here, yeobo.

Third person’s POV

The door opened, and Yoseob closed his eyes trying to contain his excitement, without saying a word, he hugged her tightly, kissed her cheek. He felt the girl stiffened in his arms. He chuckled. “Yeobo, don’t you miss me? Why won’t you hug your oppa back?”

 “Ano ba?! (What the hell?!)” Yoseob fell on his , looked up, and immediately forgot about the pain on his bum. He quickly got up and got hold of the girl’s shoulders,

“Yah! Who are you?! What are you doing in Yoo Ri’s apartment?!” he said as he shook her.

The girl freed herself from Yoseob’s grasps, her face red with anger,

 “Ikaw ang sino ka, noh! Manyak! (Who are YOU! ! )” she then slammed the door at Yoseob’s face, leaving him stunned for a second.

What the heck did she just yelled at me?! Yoseob thought recovering from his initial shock. He then start pounding the door again and again

“Open this door! Where is my girlfriend?! Where did you hide her?! Let her out!!! Yah!! I said open this damn door!!!”

Sa Ji’s POV

“I don’t know your girlfriend, you ! Get the hell away from my door!” I yelled back at him and covered my ears. Tsk. What an irritating voice! I reached for my cellphone and dialed my land lady’s number.

I went to the bathroom “Yoboseo? Ahjumma.. This is Lee Sa Ji from apartment 507. I just moved in today and there’s this psycho guy outside my door, now. Please help.” I said as Mrs. Kim answered my call.

Mrs. Kim’s POV

“507 you say?” I can only think of one person.. I forgot to warn Sa Ji about him. I better go.”Arasso, I’ll be right over, Sa Ji-ssi.” I said as I hurriedly walked over to the elevator.

As soon as the elevator opened at the fifth floor I heard his shout, “Yah! I said open this--”

“Yoseob-ssi.. ” I called out his name to get his attention. He quickly ran to me with fear and worry in his eyes. I can’t look at him straight, instead, I tried to look away.

“Ahjumma.. Where’s Yoo Ri? Did she move out?”

“Ahni.. ”

“Then where is she? You know, right?”

I finally looked at his eyes, “Yoseob-ssi…  You need to go home now.”

“No I need to find my Yoo Ri!”

“Yoseob-ssi, it’s been--”

He waved his hands mid air, refusing to hear what I have to say. “Ahni.. ahni. Im going to find her myself. I’ll go now.”  He quickly bowed to me and run to the elevator.

I looked at his back, I could only shook my head. My heart was breaking for this kid...
