Chapter 4: Studying   STUDY STUDY STUDY.   That was all you could think about ever since your conversation with Kai. ''ugh, why did i even agree to this stupid deal?'' you thought as you opened up your texbook. Exams were coming up soon and you didn't have time to do anything else except stare at your notes and abosrbs every little detail and word. You checked your phone. 11:34 pm. on a school night. ''Ugh'' you groaned. ''i've been studying for almost six hours.'' you smacked your self. ''Am i crazy? why am i studying for such a long time?'' Yawning you left everything on the desk and climbed into your bed, falling fast alseep. -Kai's scene- ''Come on kai! You can do this!'' he hit his head, trying to stay awake. Kai was also up studying. He didn't want to humiliate himself and lose to a girl. That would be pathetic. Besides he had to keep his perfect score record and reputation. He glanced nervously at the clock. 11:52 pm. His eyelids grew heavy and he fell asleep at his desk. -next morning- You were just stepping on the school campus when Min Hee caught your arm. ''GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!'' she yelled. ''Why is she so perky and happy at like 7 in the morning.?'' You frowned and continued walking. ''So did you study? study? study?'' Min Hee bit her bottom lip anxiously. ''No i didn't'' you replied coldly. Her eyes grew big. ''Unni! WHY? you do know that the exam is only a few days away and you haven't even looked at your notes? don't you care about beating that annoying jerk Kai? i thought you made a deal or whatever with him! No, you can't lose to him. I'm going to drag you to my house and surround you with textbooks and notes. A BUNCH OF NOTES! Then your going to have to memorize everysingle word in the dictionary!'' Was this girl being serious? you wanted to mess around with her, but it only made you even more annoyed. ''why do i even bother?'' you muttered under your breath and walked away from her. She called after you, but you ignored her pitchy voice by plugging in your earphones.
