''Am i Dreaming?''

  Kai didn't hesitate as he took off running down the hallway and up the stairs. He didn't bother taking the elevator. His mind was infused by the only thought of getting back to you. He could still hear his father's yelling from the 1st floor as he made his way back to hotel room panting and sweating. He rummaged through his suitcase and bag searching for his ticket back home. His passport.   The door opened and his shocked mother stepped in. ''J-Jongin...i had no idea.'' Mrs. Kim burst into tears. Feeling sorry for her one and only son. Kai deliberately walked over to his shaking mother and embraced her in a hug.   She reminded him of you so much. Both were sensitive, caring, and meaningful to him. ''Mom. I have to get out of here.'' He said and let her go. He really didn't care if his mother told him not to go because he was going anyway. From Beijing to Seoul it would be about an hour flight, plus driving back to his home would take some time. He had to leave now.   ''Here.'' His mother slipped him a ticket back to Seoul. ''H-how?'' He asked with shocked eyes as he gripped the ticket tightly. ''I bought it in advance just in case. And it looks like you need it. Go Jongin. Run to her and i'll handle your father.'' She pushed her son out of the room and Kai ran. Leaving his clothes behind. He only needed a passport and his ticket to get to you.   As he ran his father's voice echoed through his pained mind. ''Your future wife.'' 

 

  ___     The sun had fully set and now the bright moon shined over the city of Seoul. You slowly walked around Kai's empty house with the lights turned off. It felt cold and haunting, but you remained calm. It had been one week since you saw Kai.   You wondered how you survived so long without his comfort. Yes, you survived but it suffering. Sleeping on an empty bed and not having anyone to laugh with or tease. The warmth in the house disappeared day by day. You felt lonely. Too lonely. Bothering Min Hee and D.O wasn't an option. Baekhyun and Chanyeol were busy with work and Sehun was back in the states.   Tears began welling in your eyes but you blinked them away. ''He'll come back'' You said to yourself and entered the bedroom. Your chest tightened when you saw the empty bed, still you proceeded over and laid down. The house was inaudible. No movement or sound came from any room. It scared you and you longed for Kai even more.   It was late, but you realized how deeply in love you were with him. How your love for him was your biggest weakness. Him being away made you realize that. You turned and faced the emptiness next to you. Slowly you brushed your fingers across where Kai slept. Imagining his warm body next yours and his feeling his hot breath on your skin. You swallowed and shed a single tear. Letting it roll on your pillow. Gently sobbing as you sat up.   Sleep was nowhere near your system. Only pain. Picking your body up, you silently walked out into the living room and picked up your phone. The screen you a smiling Kai was staring back at you with sweet innocent eyes. You fell apart. No longer strong enough to hold back the pain. You cried and held your phone closer to you.   Craving for his embrace, his lips, his loving words.... As you sat on the cold hardwood floor a memory flowed into your mind.   ''There's this one place that i always escaped to when i want to free my mind. It's this hill behind my house, but you have to follow this trail into the woods. It's really short so you'll be out of the woods in no time. On top of that hill you can see the whole city of Seoul breathing and living underneath you. And the skyline right above you. It's breathtaking and i'm going to show you one day.''   His words were so vivid. ''That one day is today.'' You whispered and grabbed your cream colored cardigan. Slipping into your shoes you reached for the door. Another tear slid down your cheek as memories of Kai kept flowing into your weak mind. You took a deep breath and exited the house in a daze.   Only focused on getting to the hill and Kai that you didn't realize the door didn't shut completely. Sighing you walked behind his house and saw the gravel pathway leading into the woods. It was pitch black and you felt yourself trembling. Taking a step forward you stood in the entrance, trying to catch your breath. You gripped your phone firmly and walked into the woods. Getting deeper and deeper into the darkness with each step.   A sudden rustle came from the side. You shrieked and took off running. You heart racing. You didn't stop running until you finally stepped out of the woods and into a clearing. ''This is the hill'' You thought when your eyes landed on a wooden bench sitting on the peak on the hill. You walked up the slope carefully.   ">http://   A gasp left your lips as you took in the view below you. He was right. The city was completely breathtaking. All of the golden lights shimmered back and fourth. You could hear the faint sound of cars honking by. You sat there on the hill looking over the quiet and lost city of Seoul. The stars glistened overhead and the moon shone brightly.   It was a beautiful evening, but something was missing from you heart.......someone whom you couldn't live another day without. A light breeze whirled around you causing you to hug your knees. You mentally scolded yourself for wearing cotton shorts on a cool night like this. Still you stayed put not wanting to leave this lonely comforting place.   You reached in your back pocket for your phone but your fingers grabbed nothing. You eyes
