So I actually wrote this months ago and posted it on tumblr but hey I'll post it here too just so they're all together.

it was like 5:00 one time and I was hugging a pillow and trying to take a nap but the rain was too loud and this was the result of that.

Safe. That’s how Myungsoo felt in Dongwoo’s arms. Neither of them denied the ferocity of the storm raging just outside their window, but neither of them were bothered by it. The rain drummed loudly on the rooftop, and roll after roll of thunder shook the very foundation of their house as trees shook in the wind, but Myungsoo still felt safe. The two men were lying in their bed, facing out the window as Myungsoo watched the storm press on. Next to him, his lover slept peacefully. Dongwoo could sleep through anything, Myungsoo concluded with a soft smile. Not flashes of lighting nor cracks of thunder did anything to disturb the older boy, whose arms were lax around Myungsoo’s waist. They were safe, in their own little world. Myungsoo smiled to himself as he watched the rain pour down, the speed of it much in contrast to the way Dongwoo’s warm breaths were slowly hitting the back of Myungsoo’s neck. Myungsoo pulled the sheet they were under up a little bit higher and pressed himself back further so that his back was pressed firmly up against Dongwoo’s chest, and now he could feel it rise and fall in time with the soft puffs of air hitting his neck. Thunder rumbled again, louder this time, shaking the small dorm, and Myungsoo smiled softly once more. The storm outside, to him, was nothing but a show. He was okay, in Dongwoo’s arms, he was safe.
