Yunho woke up before Jaejoong and his face softly so as to not wake the beautiful man. No matter how much he thought about what happened the night before, he couldn't bring himself to regret it. He felt guilty that Changmin was probably hurt through all this, but other than that he was completely fine. Well, he was until he remembered Kris. Oh God, he just helped Jaejoong cheat on his boyfriend! Jaejoong, as if sensing his panic, slowly opened his eyes and smiled an adorably sleepy smile. "Hello Yunho." Yunho managed a weak smile in return. Jaejoong wrapped his arms around Yunho. who flinched and stiffened at the contact. Jaejoong frowned and let go. "You're regretting it aren't you?" He looked down, finding the sheet suddenly interesting. Yunho immediately pulled Jaejoong to him. "No, of course not! I loved it, and I would be lying if I said I wouldn't want to do it again. But what about Kris? He seemed like a great guy. Aren't you upset at all?" Jaejoong laughed, relieved that that was all the man was worried about. He shook his head. It was time to tell him. "Kris went back to China last night. Something about an emergency with his boyfriend, Tao." Now Yunho was confused. Wasn't Kris...... "It was all fake, Yunho. Kris already had a boyfriend. The dumb panda insisted that Kris do this for me despite that. He was hoping I'd succeed." Yunho almost laughed at the irony. It sounded similar to his story, but succeed in what? "So you fake dated Kris becauseeeeeee.......?" Jaejoong let out an empty chuckle. "Come on Yunho, you're not that stupid. Why do you think I did that?" Yunho shook his head. You've gotta be kidding...... "You wanted to make me jealous?" Jaejoong nodded again. "Bingo. I saw you with Changmin and got jealous myself. That bull cliche about not knowing what you have until it's gone, as it turns out, isn't bull at all." Yunho did laugh this time. It was full of amusement. Jaejoong did the same thing he did. He even wanted Yunho back in his life the way Yunho wanted to be the whole time. But did he have to go through all of that? 'Well knowing all this would've saved a whole lot of trouble.' Jaejoong snapped him out of his thoughts. "I thought that if I pretended to not care and start dating someone else, then you'd come back to me. Stupid I know." Yunho could say that, yes, it was. He knew it was, and he had done the exact same thing for the exact same reason. He knew it could easily backfire, and on his side it did. It was stupid to involve his best friend like that, knowing their history together. He leaned over and kissed Jaejoong's cheek. "Next time Joongie, tell me instead of going through all of that. We would've been here a whole lot sooner." He left Jaejoong confused. He thought about telling him that the relationship with Changmin was also fake, but he'd been left confused so many times by the older. It was payback time now. "Never mind it oppa~" Jaejoong had Yunho pinned to the bed in seconds. "If you want to leave that pretty neck unmarked, I suggest you not mention that word around me. Next time you say it, I will not hold back, and I'm topping." Yunho almost said it again just to see what he'd do, but he needed to go explain things to the rest of their little group of friends. "As much as I'd like to see that, we need to find Changmin and explain this to him." Jaejoong held his breath, not wanting to believe it was going where he hoped it was. He had been hurt by hoping. Yunho must have sensed it, because he added on to his sentence. "I'm not sure how he'll react when I tell him I want to be with you, but it'd be better to tell him myself now instead of someone else later." Jaejoong shook his head and smiled. "You are nothing like him." Yunho looked confused, but Jaejoong didn't look like he was going to elaborate, so he let it go. He was shocked, therefore, when he got one. "Choi Siwon. You're nothing like him." Yunho knew Siwon. He used to work with him until he was thrown in a rehabilitation center for abusing his boyfriend and killing said boyfriend's best friend. Both were shot, but the boyfriend lived. His eyes widened, and Jaejoong gave a small smile. Yunho scanned over every scar. The pieces of the puzzle suddenly fell into place. "That was you? You were the one he hurt? Was he the reason you ignored me and claimed to hate me?" Jaejoong let a few more tears slip. "I vowed that I'd rather be alone than go through that again. Any guy that seemed good was bad. The ones that seemed bad were catastrophic. That's how I lived after having to help bury my best friend." Jaejoong gave Yunho a small kiss. "Thank you for giving me this ray of hope that I might have someone to actually love me. I always thought that that person would be him, but now that I look back on it, most of the things he did looked so fake that I wanted to go back and punch myself for falling for it." He laughed. "Go. He's at Yoochun's." Jaejoong searched for his clothes and put them on. "No." Yunho's firm voice startled Jaejoong. "You're coming with me. Changmin and I will explain everything to you after we explain everything to Changmin, and we'll all leave on good terms." Jaejoong smiled at Yunho's inherit goodness and texted Yoochun that they were on their way to apologize to Changmin. After showering together, without any this time around, and getting dressed, the two drove to Yoochun's place. The minute Junsu opened the door, he slapped them both and then gave them both a hug. Jaejoong rubbed his face. "What'd I do to deserve the hug?" Yunho laughed at the backwards question. He rubbed his own cheek. Junsu was heavy-handed. "Shut up and get inside you two. You have a ton of explaining to do." Junsu was mad, and it was best not to cross him when he's mad. The two stepped inside and saw Yoochun and Onew hovering over a blank Changmin. His eyes were red, and he'd obviously been crying. His breathing was ragged, his eyes unblinking. Yunho cleared his throat. All looked at him but the one person he wanted to look at him. "Minnie?" He sat in front of the youngest. Yoochun and Onew moved to give him room but stayed close in case something happened. Onew slightly glared at Yunho. The latter felt that he rightfully deserved that look. "You have one minute to explain why you cheated on Changmin. Even if you two didn't have , which I'm fairly certain you did, he still saw you kissing. And he also saw the time at the cafe. I give you one minute to give me a damn good reason not to kick your right now." Everyone was shocked; Onew hated cursing. He certainly never did it himself. He was also supposed to be the funny, clumsy, and kind one. Now, he was dark and dangerous. He said all of this in a calm voice, which made it even more intimidating. Even Changmin looked surprised at his behavior. Yunho swallowed hard. "Yes. We did have ." Changmin buried his face in his hands and started crying. Yoochun and Junsu gasped. Jaejoong shook his head in disbelief. Onew looked about ready to murder him. 'He did not just say that straight out like that.' was the thought that ran through everyone's mind. Yunho continued. "Let me finish. Yes we did, and I'm not going to pretend that I didn't love it. In fact, scratch the part. Minnie, I'm sorry, but we made love. I love him Minnie. I love you too, but I think that now it's as my best friend and my brother. You knew from the beginning what all of this was for. When you agreed to this, you knew what it entailed. You knew, and you were excited about it." Changmin looked up. Yunho Changmin's hair, knowing it always calmed the younger down. "I hurt you, Changmin. I'm so sorry for that. I hurt me as well in knowing that, even though....... Even though we were never really dating." Jaejoong and Onew gaspeed in shock. Yoochun and Junsu already knew of this, but they were surprised that he admit it so easily. It was a start. "We only started dating because I wanted to make Jaejoong notice me and be jealous. Changmin said that if what was so normal to Jaejoong was suddenly taken from him, then he would try to get me back. What I didn't anticipate......." Yunho stopped, looking at Onew. He knew his minute was up. Onew just waved his hand. "You have thirty more seconds. Don't waste them." Yunho nodded. "I didn't anticipate Minnie falling in love with me again. We had been fooling around with each other from sophomore to senior year in high school. We were in love, but we didn't want to ruin our friendship. We decided to just go to each other for any problems we had. Both mentally and ually. In fake dating him, and already living with him beforehand, it brought all of it back. I was confused because the feelings started coming back to me as well. I kissed Jaejoong to see if I still loved him. It was no different. This really confused me." Onew had mostly calmed down. "Alright, so the kiss at the cafe was just to see if you still loved him like you thought you did before. You felt yourself falling for Changmin after burying those feelings after high school. But Jaejoong initiated the kiss in the first place. He obviously thought you two were really dating." Yunho seemed to be off the hook for now, but now Jaejoong was under interrogation. Onew got angry again. "So what the hell's your excuse?" Jaejoong paled. Changmin, bless him, interrupted. "Jinki..... please calm down." He immediately did just that, but he was still glaring at Jaejoong. Said man took a deep breath. "I was being selfish. I wanted him after seeing his attention being moved somewhere else. I guess your plan worked Yunho. I just wanted to feel what I was missing. I'm so sorry everyone. I let the past keep me from feeling in the beginning, and then I let my pride as a man keep me from abiding by morals. I came here because Yunho wanted me to apologize with him. The truth is, I didn't want to be anywhere near any of you because I would have to face all I've let myself do. I'm not going to sugarcoat anything, I hate myself for doing that all these years anyway, so I'll just say it. Yunho and Changmin know the story already. Yoochun and Junsu only know part of it. Onew, you know nothing of it." He launched into the story about why Siwon was really in prison and rehab. Yoochun and Junsu had no idea. They thought Siwon just lost his mind from some drug and Donghae was in an accident. The two started to cry for Jaejoong since he alone bore that knowledge that his own best friend was killed by the man he thought he loved. Jaejoong didn't want their sympathy though. That wasn't the point of telling them the truth. It wasn't for sympathy; it was for clearance and peace of mind. "I let that dictate my life. I've been a because of it. I apologize. Most of all, I apologize to Chang-ah. I hurt you because I didn't care if you were dating someone. I'm selfish, that's just who I am. I think about me before anyone else. Don't let my idiocy ruin your friendship with Yunho please."Changmin got up. Yoochun looked concerned, but he let him go. The youngest stepped up to Jarejoong and punched him hard in the stomach. Every other face was completely shocked at it. Jaejoong doubled over, fell to the ground, and groaned. He then laughed through it. "Thanks Chang-ah. I deserved that." Changmin smiled and helped Jaejoong up. "You're welcome. Next time though, wait until Yunho breaks up with me before sleeping with him. Idiot." The two laughed it off, though Jaejoong's was quite breathy. Changmin hugged Jaejoong, confusing everyone. Changmin explained since Jaejoong was out of breath. "When Jaejoong first told me about Siwon and Donghae, he was torn up pretty bad. He also said right before he fell asleep that if he ever did anything stupid with Yunho or me to punch him really hard in the stomach." A chorus of "Oh"s rang through the room. Yunho hugged Changmin from behind. "I am so sorry for hurting you like this Minnie. You're still my best friend. You always will be my best friend. I'm an idiot; I know I am. Can you forgive this idiot though?" Changmin turned in Yunho's arms with a stern look. Yunho lost hope until, "You better be happy mister. I'm letting you go beacuse I want you to be happy. If this doesn't work out, then I will be a very upset maknae." Yunho laughed and hugged him before picking Jaejoong up, spinning him around, and kissing him with everything he had in him. Jaejoong whimpered into the kiss, pulling Yunho even closer and granting entrance to the tongue that swept across his bottom lip. They were really getting into it, until someone cleared their throat loudly. The two broke apart blushing. Yunho noticed Changmin looking at the ground. "You gonna be okay Minnie?" Changmin looked up smiling. "Yeah, but we have a ton of explaining to do to our mothers." Yunho had almost forgotten about them. Changmin suddenly remembered something. "What about Kris?" Onew was confused, Kris was in China with Tao, what did he have to do with thtis? Jaejoong waved a dismissive hand. "That was faked too. Just with less enthusiasm than you guys." Changmin laughed and closed his eyes. When he opened them, all he saw was a hand in his face. "Yah! Lee Jinki! Why isyour hand in my face?" Onew laughed. "It's about time! I've been trying to get your attention for ages! It's been fifteen minutes, where have you been?" Changmin looked shocked. Fifteen minutes of ignoring Jinki? He hugged the younger, causing him to stuttter and almost fall. "Oh Jinki, still as clumsy as ever. I'm sorry for spacing out on you." Onew placed a kiss on Changmin's cheek. "It's alright hyung, but now we only have an hour to get ready for Yunho and Jaejoong's anniversary party." Changmin perked up. "Oh right! Um, we don't have time to shower seperately, so we'll go together!" Changmin dragged Onew up the stairs and almost fell because Onew lost his footing a lot on the way up. "But every time we shower together we always......." Onew trailed off, blushing. His face got redder when Changmin just smirked and said, "I know." Maybe they could stand to be a teeny bit late........
