When morning came, a certain man sat up alone and sighed. Changmin had decided to sleep by himself immediately after getting home that night, claiming that he would have to eventually get used to it. Yunho nodded and went to his own room. Changmin felt a bit better knowing that he wouldn't have to deal with waking up with Yunho beside him. He did, however, underestimate how much he had grown accustomed to sleeping with Yunho's arms around him. He got very little sleep that night. He wasn't feeling like going to work or the studio so that U Know could pull a stunt like last night. That thought was automatically thrown out. 'I'm being selfish here. Tiffany and Yoona need me there, and I have to be strong for them. Knowing Yun, he'll see something's wrong. Let's just hope that he's too U Know like to pay much attention to it.' He dragged himself out of bedd and hit the shower. As the warm water cascaded down his body, he got the chance to relax and go back to his normal self- somewhat. He got out fully dressed. He went downstairs, and the sight that greeted him surprised him. Jaejoong was sitting on the couch, looking at the TV but not seeing it. Changmin stopped in his tracks. "Um.... Jaejoong. Good morning." Jaejoong's head snapped to Changmin. He immediately jumped over the couch and tackled the younger in a hug. He started to talk really fast, but Changmin understood what was trying to be said. "Chang ah! I'm so sorry for what you saw yesterday! I don't know what came over me then, and I swear that it will not happen again! I don't even deserve your forgiveness, but I really hope to get it." Changmin was confused. 'He came over here to apologize? Why am I even upset at this? This is what my job is. I'm just a catalyst to get Yun and Jaejoong hyung together.' He just decided to hug the almost sobbing man. "It's.... it's ok hyung. I forgive you as long as you make sure Yun's single before attempting that again." He laughed it off, and Jaejoong swore that he could've kissed him for it. "Thank you so much Chang ah! I'll be sure to keep your words in mind." The two laughed. 'Jaejoong hyung is a really nice person. I hope we stay friends no matter who Yun ends up with.' Changmin thought. A sound brought him out of his thought. Yunho walked downstairs sleepily. "Morning Changmin ah, morning Jaejoong hyung." He disappeared into the kitchen. The other two looked at each other. "3, 2, annnnnd 1." No sooner than they finished the countdown, Yunho came crashing into the living room. "What the-?" Jaejoong nodded and chuckled. "Morning to you too Yunho." He turned to the youngest. "It sure took him a while to get down here. Is he always like this?" The nod in response made him full out laugh. Yunho was now completely confused. "Hyung, why are you here? I mean, it's not like you're not welcome here, but..... I mean I just-" Changmin cut him off. "Chill Yun. He just wanted to talk to me about something. Now go get some food and wake up." He walked to Yunho and pecked his lips before patting Jaejoong's head and going upstairs to get Yunho's things. He knew that he had a habit of forgetting things when he was confused or upset. Back downstairs, Yunho shuffled his feet awkwardly. He never said anything to Changmin about the kiss. Last night, he tried to convince himself that it shouldn't matter because Changmin was only fake dating him. That Changmin wouldn't care either way, so why bother wasting the oxygen? It almost worked. No matter what he told himself, he still remembered sophmore year in high school. He knew how in love with him Changmin was; that kind of thing doesn't just go away, especially if they already spend so much time together. They kiss, hug, sleep in the same bed, the list goes on and on. There was absolutely nothing Yunho could've told himself to make him feel any less like a douche. Jaejoong cleared his throat, interrupting his train of thought. "About last night...." No, he was too aware of surroundings for this talk. Nonetheless, he didn't stop the other. He wanted to see where this was going."It was a mistake on my part, and I promise it won't happen again. I'm sorry for just throwing myself at you like that. That's all, so you can relax now; I just needed to clear that up." Yunho did relax, but not completely. One reason was because he felt a tad awkward after kissing him and enjoying it so much. The other reason was because deep down, he wanted Jaejoong to say how much he loved it and really wanted to do it again. He mentally shook his head, these thoughts weren't getting him anywhere. He settled for nodding and getting a cup of coffee. "Do you want a cup?" He asked. Jaejoong nodded. "That'd be good. Cream and extra sugar please. I didn't eat or anything before I got here, so I'm still tired." Yunho smiled and made another cup. On instinct, he made Changmin's first. "Funny, that's how Changmin ah always has his coffee." Speak of the devil, and he shall appear. Changmin came down and handed Yunho his briefcase. "You almost forgot the notes for the meeting today. Yunho facepalmed and kissed Changmin's cheek. "Shim Changmin, what would I do without you?" Said man laughed. "Die, probably. You even forget to feed yourself. Who does that?" Yunho stuck his tongue out at Changmin. "Well of course you say that, you never forget to eat. A lot." Jaejoong watched Changmin tackle and tickle Yunho to get him to surrender, which eventuually worked. Once again, Jaejoong is reminded of how bad he feels for waiting until Yunho's taken to like him. 'They look so happy. If they end up together, then I hope my boyfriend treats me like this.' He smiled, and he didn't bother trying to hide his amusement."Don't you two have work?" That statement sent the two men scrambling to get everything fixed. As they were rushing out the door, he held Changmin's jacket and Yunho's briefcase for them to grab. Both voiced their thanks before climbing into Changmin's car and driving away. When the two got to SM, they were flocked by co workers once again. "I know we're late, but something came up that required our immediate attention." Yunho smiled at his best friend's ability to sound so mature despite the adorable face. Others, unfortunately, couldn't grasp sophistication. Amber pushed her way to the front. "Yeah, 'immediate attention' alright. How early did you two get up to try and get a couple rounds in before work?" Both blushed, but that made everyone think things in the wrong way. "Must've been pretty early by the blushes on your faces. Damn, and you still ended up late?" She whistled lowly, and cat calls followed. Yunho rolled his eyes. "Think what you want. Our life is of no concern to you, now get to work." This wasn't Yunho. Everyone looked at Changmin in shock at the tone of authority in his voice. The shock also came from him casually mentioning their " life" like it was the weather. They didn't want to see how demanding Changmin could get, so they did as they were told. Yunho turned to his best friend and smiled. "Nice Changmin ah. I didn't know you had it in you." Changmin smirked a bit. "There's a lot in me that you never knew I had." Yunho was transfixed at Changmin's suddenly cocky attitude. 'It's kinda hot.' He thought before excusing himself to the office. Changmin waited for the sound of f his door closing. He sat at the front desk and waited. Eunhyuk walked in and raised his eyebrow. "Any particular reason you're in my chair at my desk?" He said when he was within speaking distance. Changmin shrugged. "Waiting for you. I need for you to look out for someone for me." Eunhyuk stopped him there. "Is it a man named Onew?" Changmin nodded. Eunhyuk continued. "He arrived fifteen minutes ago. He's waiting for you already." Changmin smiled and went to his office. Sure enough, there Onew was. He was messing with a bunch of paperweights on his desk."Lee Jinki. A.K.A. Onew. Wow, you're hair is blonde. Didn't see that one coming." Onew turned too quickly and tripped over the edge of the desk. Changmin chuckled. "Nice to know that some things never change." Onew cursed and glared at Changmin in a completely adorable way. "Oh shut it Shim Changmin and give me a hug." Said man laughed and hugged the other. "It's been a while my friend. I missed you." The younger said, one hundred percent sincere. Onew decided to take the joking route. "Really? You obviously didn't miss me enough to try and contact or visit me." The two laughed and set to work on their business. Once every detail was in place, Onew was always a bit of a perfectionist when it came to things like this, they plopped on the office couch in exhaustion. Changmin smiled. "Thanks again for doing this." Onew just smiled. "It's alright, I miss helping you mess with Yunho. I also miss helping Yoochun mess with Jaejoong, so this outta be fun. I get to mess with both now!" The two shared a laugh. Onew got up. "Alright then Changmin, I gotta go. Tell Yoochun I said hey, and to use protection with Junsu." Changmin agreed with a chuckle and ushered him out the door. He immediately pulled his phone out and sent Yoochun a message. ----Just talked to Onew. Plan starts tomorrow. Be ready by then.---- The message reply was almost instantaneous. 'Does this man just sit by the phone with a message ready?' He thought as he looked at the reply. ----Awesome. What are the details of the plan?---- Changmin relayed the plan to him, to which he got a good response to. 'Plan starts tomorrow Yun. You better be ready when it comes.' He smiled to himself. It wasn't his normal smile that melted everyone's hearts. This one was dark, almost demonic. It was the kind of smile that sent shivers down people's spines. Oh yes, he was gonna have some fun with this one.
