I stood still in my backyard just trying to grasp the final image of my home town. The heat, the grass, everything. Since mom died, I had to move and live with my dad in his home town. It's been a while since I last went there and I have to start school in the middle of the school year. Great. My overall plan for this year is to just fade in with the rest of the faces in school and just get through high school. The town my dad came from is almost an exact opposite of where mom and I lived. The sun rarely shined and the weather was very humid. THe town was surrounded by thick lush trees and no sign of modern urbanisation anywhere in a fifty mile radius. Just your old-fashioned country home.

I just pray that I can get through. No complications, No hardships, No love. That's my detailed plan. All that can wait for college where I'm free to do anything I want and be what I truly am.

At least, those were my thoughts..before he came along...
