Saturdays in the quaint little town of Del Sol has never been as bright and cheery as other places on this Earth but Jinri's emotions the moment she woke up that day were major contradictors. She was excited to say the least because today was the day she would go on an almost date with Luhan.. and his sister but that's okay. Right? Though through all the excitement, she couldn't help but intertwine a few strings of anxiety here and there. She needed to impress Luhan but at the same time not freak him out or do anything stupid to embarass herself.

She jumped out of her bed and walked to her joint bathroom with a skip in every step. She made sure to be thorough with her usual routine of applying a layer of cream and lotion on her face and body respectively while also not forgetting to floss between her teeth and brushing them. She took time to contemplate wether or not to apply any form of cosmetic but finally decided against it. Stepping out of the bathroom, she saw that she spent nearly three hours in there and then realized that Luhan was supposed to pick her up about a half an hour later. She chose the simplest dress she could find that stood out amongst the rest and carefully picked out her boots. She wore her coat and was in the process of tying her hair when her father shouted:

"Sull! There's a red-headed girl here asking for you!"

She quickly dropped the piece of rubber in shock and just forget about it letting her brown hair fall carelessly on her sides. She put on her shoes and dashed downstairs. She saw Krystal and her dad in the same room standing awkwardly with a small amount of space between them and Krystal, according to her, looked as stunning as ever. She wore a white dress with a laced floral pattern covering the skirt as a kind of veil and had her hair tied on one side and fell on the other. She couldn't help but notice Luhan's absence but shrugged it off a passing moment later. Krystal smiled and asked if she was ready to go and recieved a soft "yeah" in response. She kissed her dad goodbye and left but not before he gave her a nagging reminder to not be home too late.

She saw Krystal’s usual red car waiting for her as she walked down the stoned path-way through her front yard and noticed that Luhan wasn’t there.

“He’s waiting for you at home.” Krystal said answering her thoughts and Jinri opened to ask a question, “And no, I can’t read your mind. You’re just being stupidly obvious.” Krystal cut off before Jinri could even utter a word causing her to shut closed once again. They got in and it was awkward to say the least. Krystal was driving with her glasses on and Jinri was just sitting there quietly fidgeting her fingers and biting her lips.

She looked to her left and scanned through Krystal’s profile. The girl looked nothing like Luhan yet evryone including themselves consider her his so-called ‘sister’.

“I knew this would happen.” Krystal said out of the blue.

“What would happen?” Jinri countered perplexed.

“You’re wondering how I could be Luhan’s sister when I look nothing like him whatsoever.” She smirked and Jinri kept quiet. “I can’t read minds. But I can tell what’s going to happen in the future and right now seems about the time I tell you about my past wether you’ll listen or not.” Krystal continued.

She looked at Jinri’s direction and she was just looking down at her clasped hands and keeping quiet. She took that as a cue to continue. “It was a dark night and the moon wasn’t out. Cliché? I know. It was one of those stereotypical knights where the girl meets the monster and falls in love with him but guess what..” She turned to Jinri to find her looking back at her urging on to continue. “This monster really tried to kill me. And that monster was non-other than Luhan.” Jinri was shocked, to say the least. She had no words to speak and gulped trying to swallow her own anxiety.

“I was with my boyfriend from highschool when Luhan jumped out of no where and killed him. He tried to kill me too but he, for some reason had a soft spot for me and spared me but it was too late. His venom spread and my hair turned from brown to red and here I am.” Krystal looked at Jinri and saw that she was shaking. Not sure if she was afraid or sad, she put her hand on her shoulders and tried to calm her.

“Hey.. don’t react before the story isn’t even done yet. That’s an insult to the one who’s telling it.” Krystal chuckled to try and lighten Jinri’s state and it seemed to work. A bit.

“Anyways, when he bit me, Luhan was a new-born and couldn’t control his thirst for human blood. And when I turned, neither could I. We went on a killing spree and took alot of lives that we lost count. Word started to get around and that’s when we met Max and Yunho. Our “parents”. They trained us to control our thirst and luckily they got to us before the authorities did or we would’ve been burned to death.”

“You guys have authorities?” Jinri wondered

“Of course we do. For now were on their good side but anything could trigger those judgmental s.” Krystal smiled and Jinri couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Are they as annoying the world’s politics?” Jinri inquired

“No. They’re a thousand times worse. Do one crime and it’s off with your head  then bye-bye life as you know it.” Krystal laughed.

A few moments of silence passed before they reached the edge of town and Jinri was looking around the trees that blocked out most of the rare sunlight.

“Where are we going?” She asked looking around like a lost puppy

“My house. Remember?” Krystal smirked smugly

“Okay and where is tha-“ Jinri’s words were cut short when the car parked right infront of a huge mansion with large glass windows that showed off the amazing interior that was almost completely white. She didn’t realize that Krystal had already gotten off the car until she walked past her and turned her head in her direction.

“You comig or what?” Krystal chuckled.

“R-right..” She stuttered out. Here goes nothing..

(A/N) I'm really sorry I haven't updated in a while and this is a crappy chapter to comeback with TT_TT BUT.. My exams are all done and now I'm free to update. The next chapter will be a Bonus  telling Krystal's story with Luhan. Again.. I"M REALLY SORRYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
