Graduating Batch of Gay

~*~

Heechul was busy going through his students’ homework assignments after the last bell rang, and he didn’t want any interruptions as he had been putting off work for as long as he could remember (it was partly Siwon’s fault anyway). But he certainly didn’t mind when Siwon came in, kissed his cheek, took out a tiny box from his pocket and got down on one knee.

Heechul was not ready for this. “Choi Siwon, are you proposing to me?”

“What?” Siwon looked flabbergasted. “What are you talking about? I’m just tying my shoe.”

“Oh,” Heechul looked a bit disappointed, but at the same time quite relieved. “You had to pick now of all times to tie your shoe? What’s that on your hand anyway?”

“Why don’t you see for yourself?” Siwon smiled and opened the red box, which was lined with velvet as it cushioned a beautiful, glimmering (holy crap, is that a real diamond?) ring. “I saw this and thought of you—”

“OH MY GOD IT’S HUGE I LOVE IT IT’S GORGEOUS CAN I HAVE WITH IT?” He squealed, grabbing the shining piece of jewelry and knocking Siwon down in the process. Siwon chuckled as he picked himself up and tried to calm the teacher down.

“Why would you want to have with that when you can have with me?” He smirked as he put his hands on Heechul’s petite waist and pulled him down onto his lap. When what he had just said registered in his mind, he rested his chin on Heechul’s shoulder (which tickled a little) and blushed, “Gosh, I can’t believe I just said that.”

“I’m not complaining.” Heechul smiled and kissed the tip of his nose. “Thank you for this. I’ve never gotten real jewelry before. What made you buy this anyway?”

“Well, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, and I realized that we’ve come a really long way since camp.” He said. “Can you still remember? We used to be so awkward and shy around each other; now look at us.”

“I know what you mean.” Heechul was still admiring the rock on his finger. “I’m proud of us. I’m proud of you, actually. To be honest, I was beginning to give up on you, but you’ve made me see that you’re worth all the trouble. And the pain. And the heartache. Not to mention, the tears…”

“I get it.” Siwon nodded, his eyes sending a silent apology towards the older man. “But we’re okay now, right?”

Heechul smiled and nuzzled the crook of Siwon’s neck, “Better than okay.”

Siwon breathed a sigh of relief and let Heechul continue to nip at his neck. He shut his eyes and enjoyed the sensation that Heechul so easily provided with just his lips and teeth, and he couldn’t help but whimper a little when Heechul pulled away.

“Say, Siwon,” his slender fingers tugged on Siwon’s school tie. “You wanna go on a date?”

~*~

“Before you say anything, I just want to say that I know that we both don’t want to be here and we’re just doing it for the sake of Kyuhyun, so let’s just get this over with as soon as possible.”

The woman stared at the teenager, her clipboard sitting on her lap as she adjusted her eyeglasses. “Sungmin-ssi, please sit.”

Sungmin sighed, lazily reclined on the couch and sent the middle-aged woman a look that made it blatantly obvious that he’d rather be anywhere else but here. “So, how does this work? You show me some ink stains, give me some pills and then I get to leave?”

“Not exactly,” she cleared as she jotted something down on her clipboard. “Tell me, Sungmin-ssi, why do you think you’re here?”

“Because I love your son and he went through a whole lot of trouble just to get me here.” He noticed how her eyebrow twitched slightly at the mention of his relationship with Kyuhyun.

“Alright, then why do you think Kyuhyun wanted you here?” she asked further.

“He says I’m sick. That I need help.” Sungmin crossed his arms, his lips sticking out into a slight pout.

  “And he’s wrong?”

“If he was, would I be here?”

“I see,” as she scribbled something else in her notes, Sungmin couldn’t help but feel paranoid at the things she may be thinking about him. He then decided that he should start being more careful with his words if he wants to get out of a stint in rehab. “So, Sungmin-ssi, how do you feel?”

  “Fine.” He answered curtly.

Her expression remained blank, “Define ‘fine’.”

“I’m okay.” He shrugged, making sure to catch any change in expression from the therapist. “What do you expect me to be?”

“That’s up to you, Sungmin-ssi,” she wrote something down again. “Tell me, what did your family say when you told them you were going into therapy?”

“Well, mom couldn’t stop crying when she dropped me off. My dad joked that it was a long time coming, but I know he’s feeling pretty weird about all this. Sungjin keeps texting me every five minutes to ask if I’m okay—” Sungmin rolled his eyes as his phone buzzed, proving his last statement. “See?”

  “And Sungjin is?”

“My parole officer.” Sungmin snickered at his own joke, but he quickly realized his mistake when Kyuhyun’s mother made a sound with the back of and underlined something on her clipboard. “I was joking. That was a joke. Sungjin’s my little brother.”

“I see,” she nodded. “And your little brother, he seems to annoy you?”

“Well, not all the time.” He admitted with a shrug. “The kid’s really sweet. He’s really supportive of the decisions I make too, which is one of the reasons why I love him; he even calls me ‘noona’.”

  “And you like that?”

  “Of course I do. Why wouldn’t I?”

“Well, for one thing, you’re male.”

“So? That doesn’t make any—hey, I know what you’re doing. This isn’t about me.” His tone turned accusatory. “This is about you and the fact that you’re so homophobic that you can’t accept the fact that your son is in love with another boy. I bet you don’t even give a rat’s about me.”

Her expression finally faltered; her brows furrowed together as she stared Sungmin down. “I’ll have you know that I don’t mix business with personal matters.”

“So you do admit that you have a problem with Kyuhyun’s ual orientation?” he smirked as the woman started to babble incoherently. “Look, Mrs. Cho, I’m sure you’re a perfectly lovely woman and Kyuhyun loves you very much, but given the way you and your husband have been treating him, I can’t exactly say I’m a fan of yours.

“That’s enough, Sungmin-ssi,” she composed herself before continuing, “let’s get back to—”

“Oh, Mrs. Cho.” Clucking his tongue, Sungmin shook his head. “We’re just getting started.”

~*~

“How’d it go?” Kyuhyun greeted as Sungmin came out of his mother’s office, looking oddly satisfied for someone who’s just spent an hour with a shrink. “Are you okay?”

Sungmin shrugged, “I think I just gave your mother a therapy session.”

Kyuhyun was just about to ask what he meant, until he caught a peek inside the room and saw his mother hugging her knees, rocking back and forth while sobbing. “You made my mother cry?”

“Mm-hmm,” Sungmin nodded, smiling brightly as he patted his boyfriend on the back. “No charge.”

“I’m so glad we watched that movie.” Heechul grinned as he clung to Siwon’s arm like a lazy koala bear. “I enjoyed it.”

“Really now?” Siwon looked doubtful. “Tell me, what was the movie about?”

“That’s easy. It was about a couple who met because of a cat on the roof. They hit it off, got married and lived happily ever after.” He surmised smugly. “See? I was paying attention.”

“You just described the trailer for a movie that was shown before the actual movie started.” Siwon laughed as he kissed the top of Heechul’s head. “Admit it. You liked the movie because it was terrible and it gave us plenty of time to make out.”

“Hey, it lasted for two and a half hours,” he smirked. “I’m surprised we weren’t making babies on the floor.”

“Perhaps some other time.” He proposed, wrapping a protective arm around Heechul’s shoulders.

Heechul looked quite surprised at how casual Siwon was with the prospect. “Next time, pick an even crappier movie. That way, we can get a lot more things done, if you know what I mean.”

“I definitely like the sound of that.” Siwon continued to hold Heechul close as they made their way down the street, feeling strangely confident despite being out in public with a teacher of the same (though he was dressed like the opposite).

“See, Wonnie? I told you it’s fun being gay.” He nudged the younger boy, causing him to blush slightly. “You’ve changed a lot since camp and I couldn’t be any happier. I know I sound like a sap right now and I hate that, but it’s all true. I love being with you like this.”

“I love being with you too.” Siwon suddenly came to a stop right below the faint light from the streetlamp, which made him shine beautifully. “Heechul, can I ask you something?”

“Sure. Anything.” Heechul smiled as he entwined his fingers with Siwon’s.

“Do you want to make things…official?” he asked. “I mean, it seems right, doesn’t it? We like each other, we’ve already gone on a date and—”

“And the is amazing.” Heechul finished for him before moving forward so their lips can meet. “Yes, Siwon, yes, I’d love to be official.”

“I’m so glad, Heechul, I—are you crying?”

“No,” he croaked, fanning his eyes with his manicured hands so his tears wouldn’t ruin his make-up (which he spent hours to put on before going out; it’s a good thing Siwon was patient). “There’s just something in my eyes.”

“Tears?” As Heechul staggered away from him in his knee-high boots (matched with a tight leather skirt, of course—it’s not a crime to be daring and fashionable), Siwon followed after him and turned him around. The motion caused Heechul to tumble, but fortunately, Siwon was able to catch the crossdresser just in time. “What’s wrong?”

“No, no, these are happy tears.” He sniffed, pursing his lips together as he continued to fan himself. “I’ve been waiting for this, for us, to happen for months, and now it’s finally here and I regret not preparing myself for it.”

Siwon shook his head, chuckling, “You’re adorable. You know that?”

“A little late on the update, my dear.” Once he managed to get himself together, he fixed his hair, straightened out his clothes and cleared his throat. “Siwon, honey, listen, you have to promise me something.”

“Anything.” He agreed right away. “Just name it.”

“Well, you remember how things kind of fizzled out between us during camp…?”

“I know, I know, it caused you a great deal of pain, and I am terribly sorry for that.” Siwon almost rolled his eyes. “Do we really have to go through this again?”

Although looking quite amused, Heechul gave Siwon a loud flick on the forehead. “Shut up and let me finish,” he said. “I don’t ever want to go through anything remotely like that, you got it? So, if we’re gonna do this whole relationship thing, then we’re gonna do it right. I don’t want any heartache, I don’t want any tears and I certainly don’t want to get humiliated again. If you don’t agree to any of my terms and conditions, then—”

Siwon interrupted him with a kiss on the mouth, “You talk too much.”

“Choi Siwon, I’m trying to have a serious conversation with y—” Heechul didn’t get to finish this time either, as Siwon interrupted him yet again in the same manner.

When he pulled away, most of Heechul’s lipstick had already rubbed off on Siwon’s lips. “I get it. I promise. I really do.”

“That’s all I wanted to hear,” satisfied, Heechul grinned and planted a big, sloppy kiss on Siwon’s cheek. “Well, boyfriend, this is your lucky day because I am giving you the chance to treat me to some Dirty Monkey cocktails.”

Siwon’s nose scrunched up, “Sounds disgusting.”

“I know,” Heechul re-attached himself to Siwon’s arm. “You’re gonna love it, darling.”

“I’m taking my pants off now, Hae. Now I’m just in my underwear. My tighty-whities. Donghae, I’m having with a e and I’m gonna pay her with money from your wallet. Donghae, I killed Nemo!”

Finally, Donghae put the phone down and slowly turned around, one eyebrow arched warily. “What did you say about Nemo?”

“You wouldn’t have to ask if you put the ing phone and actually listen to me.” Eunhyuk complained. He had been trying to get Donghae’s attention all day, but he was always too fixated on his phone to care. Eunhyuk was beginning to think of taking the phone and smashing it to bits, but knowing Donghae, he’d probably cry his eyes out like a baby if he did and Eunhyuk was in no mood to deal with a crying Donghae.

Donghae shrugged and continued to text, and Eunhyuk could only sigh. “Godammit, Hae. What do I have to do to get your attention? Heechul told me that I’m better off just dumping you but I know that wouldn’t do me any good. I just can’t imagine my life without you, Hae, even just for a little while. But if you keep this up…God, I don’t know. You would never think of breaking up, would you? Donghae?”

“Hm?” Donghae looked up, eyebrows raised. “Did you say something, Hyuk?”

“Forget it.” Eunhyuk hissed as he opened the door to Sungmin’s house (Sungmin had given him a copy of the key a long time ago) and stormed into the living room, where Sungmin was, eating a bunch of grapes (at this point, Eunhyuk was too riled up to show how he proud he was of him for eating again).

Without even giving Sungmin any time to prepare himself, Eunhyuk grabbed his collar, whispered in his ear to “follow my lead,” and smashed their lips together. Soon, they were tangled together on the couch, swapping saliva without even caring about the pain of their teeth clanging against each other.

Eunhyuk pulled away breathing heavily to take a look at Donghae, who didn’t notice them at all as he was still completely focused on the screen of his cellphone.

“Dammit,” Eunhyuk cursed under his breath. “I thought for sure that would work.”

“Wow, Hyukkie,” Sungmin couldn’t help but giggle. “We haven’t kissed like that in years.”

“Hey, Min, you’re out of—” Kyuhyun froze in his spot as he saw his boyfriend straddling another boy’s lap. “Okay, what the hell is going on here?”

“Eunhyuk just made out with me to get Donghae’s attention.” Sungmin explained casually as Kyuhyun’s nostrils started to flare up. “It didn’t work though. How charming must this guy be to get all of Donghae’s attention?”

“I’m sorry, Kyu, I shouldn’t have done that,” usually Eunhyuk would be scared less by the wrath of Kyuhyun, but he didn’t really seem all that frightened right now. “Here, let me make it up to you.”

Eunhyuk then fisted his hands in Kyuhyun’s shirt, pulled him forward and crashed his lips against his. It didn’t make Donghae even bat an eye at them, but Sungmin on the other hand was practically breathing fire.

“Lee Hyukjae, I can’t even begin to describe the things I am going to do to you when you go to sleep tonight.” He practically bore holes in Eunhyuk’s skull, but all Eunhyuk cared about was getting his Donghae back.

Eunhyuk held up the now limp body of Kyuhyun (because apparently Eunhyuk’s kisses are just that powerful) and remarked, “For a former football player, you’d think his knees would at least be a little stronger than this.”

“Give me my baby.” Sungmin grabbed Eunhyuk by the hair, pulled him away and caught the still dazed Kyuhyun before he could hit the floor.

Sungmin lightly slapped his cheeks to snap him back to reality and when he did, the first thing he said was, “Wow, did you guys get the license plate of the truck that hit me?”

“Sungmin, I have wonderful news—oh good, you’re all here.” Suddenly, Heechul barged in through the front door that was carelessly left open, his heels clicking with every stride he made.

“We’re not all here,” Eunhyuk grumbled. “Somebody over there is too obsessed with his stupid stalker to even pay the slightest attention to his boyfriend who devotes all his freaking time to him.”

“Well, Hyukjae, nice to know you’re not bitter.” Sungmin remarked sarcastically. “Oh, and Lady HeeHee, how nice to see you again. I thought you had died. I was ready to steal all your shoes and actually put them to good use.”

“Don’t you even think about it. I just bought this pair since I sold half of my shoes online to pay for your therapy sessions.” He pointed out. “But anyway, I have glorious news. Guess what?”

“You’re leaving your job and becoming a stripper?” Kyuhyun teased, prompting Heechul to fling one of his heavy bracelets at him.

“No, but me and Siwon are officially an item.” He announced proudly. “Can you guys believe it? I finally have the guy of my dreams after waiting for so long.”

“Be sure to put it that way for the school board when you explain to them why you were ing a student in the janitor’s closet.” Sungmin grinned slyly. “But nevertheless, I guess I’m happy for you. I’m confused though—I thought you were playing hard-to-get.”

“I did, and it worked beautifully, and I have the diamond to prove it.” Heechul put his hand out and showed off the glimmering ring on his finger, making Sungmin gasp dramatically (as if Sungmin was capable of being anything but).

“Shut. Up. He gave you a diamond ring?” he screeched. “No fair! The only jewelry Kyuhyun has ever bought me was from the local drug store. My ears turned green right away!”

“Min, I love you and all, but keep this up and I’m going to tell my mom to admit you involuntarily into rehab.” Kyuhyun warned, which was enough to make Sungmin shut up.

“Gee, Heechul, I’m so glad for you and Siwon.” Eunhyuk wrapped his arms around Heechul’s neck, pulled him down to his height and forcefully pressed their lips together. He made sure to make loud, sounds to try to get Donghae’s attention, but unfortunately, it was all in vain.

“Seriously?” Eunhyuk wiped Heechul’s lipstick off his own lips with the back of his hand. He tossed another glare towards Donghae, whose eyes never left the glow of his phone.

“Dammit, Hyuk, I just fixed my make-up.” Heechul took out a compact from his purse to retouch his face.

“So basically, now that his boyfriend barely acknowledges his existence, Eunhyuk’s going around kissing other people’s boyfriends.” Kyuhyun deduced, to which Sungmin nodded.

“How long do you think it’ll be until he starts having with us?” Sungmin asked.

“Oh my God,” a sudden gasp came from Donghae, causing everybody’s heads to turn towards him and his flabbergasted expression. “Oh my God, Hyukjae, this is it.”

“What is?” Eunhyuk wasn’t sure if he wanted to know.

“He said to meet him at the school library before first period tomorrow.” Donghae revealed. “I’m going to meet him. I’m finally going to meet him!”
