Break-up and Change
ChangeJessica and I have been going out for a month now. I have been busier working, and she has been doing her stuff. This afternoon, I planned to go out with her. I want to be with her. I missed her, so I called her.
“Hello?”
“Jess?”
“Oppa?”
“Are you…doing anything today?”
“Yeah… I’ve been quite busy…”
“Oh, is that so…”
“I’m sorry, oppa…”
“It’s alright. Next time?”
“Definitely.”
“See you.”
“See you…”
Well, that was sad. I couldn’t concentrate on what I was doing because I really wanted to see her.
On another day, I called her again. Look, I’m not desperate and all, but I just really missed her.
“Hello?” I could hear loud music playing. Club music.
“Jess? Where are you?”
“Oppa… I uh… I’m in the club right now.” At least she’s honest.
“Why? I thought you were busy.”
“Yeah, I am… A client wanted to meet me here.”
“Oh… When are you free?”
“Not today, oppa. I still have another meeting after this.”
“Then when?”
“I’m not sure… I’ll call you when I am.”
“Okay. By-”
She didn’t let me finish. She hung up the phone.
After all my calls to her, she didn’t call even once. It hurts me that this is happening. Whatever happened to ‘I always want to be with you.’ or ‘I want to be by your side.’ or ‘I love you, my Jong~’ As much as it hurts to admit it, but I think she’s drifting away from me. I’m losing her… Well, it didn’t take long for her to tell me herself as I received a phone call from her days later. She wanted to meet up. I had a bad feeling about this…
“Hey, Jess…”
“Oh, hi, oppa.”
