Orphanage
ChangeI woke up to the smell of eggs. I got up and saw her cooking.
“Good morning, oppa!” she greeted cheerfully.
“Good morning~”
“Have a seat! I’m cooking omelette.”
She served me the omelettes and gave me a chocolate drink.
“Thank you,” I said.
“No problem. It’s the least I can do for…last night.”
“Aren’t you going to eat?”
“Oh, I’m finished.”
“Okay…”
“I’m gonna…go take a shower first.”
“Sure.”
I continued eating until I finished. I washed the dishes and waited for her.
She finally came out after a few minutes.
“Oppa, wanna take a shower?”
“Nah… I think I should go home now.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah. I might be late for work again.”
“Okay. If you say so.”
“Well… See you around?”
“See you~”
I left and drove back to my house. I got ready for work and drove to the company.
“Good morning, s-I mean, Jonghyun!” Luna greeted.
“Good morning!”
“You seem to be in a good mood today.”
“Am I?”
“Yes. Did something happen?” she smirked.
“Excuse me, Ms. Luna. You do not have the right to ask me that.”
“Oh, come on! You’re hiding something.”
“Uh… No, I’m not.”
“Yes, you are.”
“In my office. Now.”
“Okay~”
We went in and…
“Okay, so what happened?”
“Did you see the girl that came here last time to talk with my father?”
“Who? Jessica?”
“Yes.”
“You like her?”
“Maybe. I don’t know. I feel happy when I’m with her. I wanna be with her.”
“Then why don’t you tell her?”
“First of all, I’m not yet sure of my feelings. Second, what if she doesn’t like me?”
“Jong… Who wouldn’t like you? You’re sweet, charming, kind, caring-”
“I get it! I get it!”
“Hehehe. So?”
“So…what?”
“You asking her?”
“I might ask her out on a date.”
“There you go~ Huhuhu… My boss is growing up… Huhuhu…”
“Luna, stop that.”
“Huhuhu… I remember that time you were just a little boy-”
“Luna, we only met when I was looking for a secretary.”
“O-oh… Really? Heh. It feels like I’ve known you for a long time.”
“It has been three years…”
“Okay, I’ll go back to work now.”
“Good girl.”
“Bye… What?! Good girl?!”
“Bye, Luna~”
“Tch.. This guy~”
I worked the whole day until someone knocked.
“Come in.”
I looked up to see that it was “Jess...”
“Hey, oppa!”
“W-what are you doing here?”
“I wanted to visit you.”
“Oh.”
“Let’s go out!”
“I can’t.”
“Work?”
“Yeah…”
“Don’t worry. I’ve talked to your dad.”
“What?!”
“He said it’s alright. Now, come on.”
“Where are we going?”
“Orphanage.”
“Sorry, can you say it again?”
“Orphanage.”
“Really?”
“Yup.”
“I didn’t know you liked visiting the orphanage.”
