There was a cold circulating around at work recently that Yixing unfortunately caught one day, so he went about his usual tasks in a pathetically sluggish manner.  Jongdae and Minseok jokingly avoided him like the plague, while Luhan took the opportunity to baby Yixing like a concerned mother hen.

“Hey, Yixing,” Luhan poked Yixing’s side, which made Yixing jump a little in his desk seat.  “I got a call from Kyungsoo just now.  About you.”

“Oh…  Did I…do something wrong?” Yixing frowned a little and internally hoped that he hadn’t forgotten to sign the delivery papers again. 

Last time it happened, Kyungsoo merely gave Yixing a small smile and a softly-spoken ‘It’s alright’.  After hearing Jongdae’s horror story of Kyungsoo’s infamous dark moods though, Yixing didn’t want to chance such a mistake again.

Luhan seemed to sense Yixing’s inner panic and patted his back lightly.  “Don’t worry.  Kyungsoo was just wondering if you weren’t feeling well or something.  He was whining about how you didn’t smile at him like you usually did.”

Yixing let out a relieved sigh. 

“I’m sorry about that...  I’m not feeling too well today,” Yixing closed his eyes and rubbed at his temples.

Luhan gave him an apologetic smile and placed a bottle of water to Yixing’s cheek, who jumped at the sudden cold sensation.

“No worries, I told Kyungsoo you were feeling a little under the weather.  He hopes you feel better soon,” Luhan leaned against the filing cabinet by Yixing’s desk and drank from his own water bottle.

Yixing smiled timidly at the statement, his dimple showing in his cheek.  “I’ll greet him more warmly the next time I see him then.”

Luhan reached out a hand and ruffled Yixing’s hair messily.  “Oh, what to do~?  Everyone loves my intern, I see~,” he exaggeratedly exclaimed.

Yixing swatted Luhan’s hands away and tried to fix his hair back in place.  Luhan scurried out of range before Yixing could do the same treatment to him.

“You love me the most though, huh?” Yixing cheekily called after Luhan.

Luhan turned around and gave Yixing an amused look.

“Get out and fetch me some lunch, intern.”
