The Secret Ingredient

[ Lee Jinki’s POV ]
this . I hate living in this world right now. I miss being Lee Jinki. I miss being able to act like carefree, chicken fanatic and get away with it. Once you learn things, you can’t forget. You discover things about people and the world that you really wish you didn’t. My thoughts and logic and psychology are all in disarray. Can’t think properly. Can’t feel properly. Can’t live properly. What’s Jonghyun doing?? How could my sister do this to the people she loved... what possibly made her feel that death was the solution to her problems? This load of questions I’m carrying around is weighing me down. I need answers. I need a laugh. I need a friend.
[ Kim Kibum’s POV ]
Baby, where are you. I miss you. Come back Jonghyun~ If only you could see my pouting face you would surely be here already.
[ Lee Taemin’s POV ]
We just finished our schedule for today. Ahh... so tiring. Everyone looks pretty worn out. Key’s laying on the couch, pouting to no one in particular. Onew’s sitting on the floor, it looks as if he’s deep in thought. Minho’s taking a nap in our bedroom. And Jonghyun... he’s not here. Ran off somewhere after rehearsal. I watch Onew’s lips as they form a frown, something that rarely happened. I remember my promise to myself to keep the hyungs happy so I decide to go get some errands done and get some coffee for them. I can’t let Onew continue frowning! I’m afraid he’s going to wear out his smiling muscles. It takes way too many muscles to frown Oppa, you should have learned that in elementary school!
[ Kim Jonghyun’s POV ]
What have I done. What will I do. I’m so ashamed. I will probably never be able to show my face to her ever again. I trip over a crack in the sidewalk. I lose my patience. I’m extremely irritated and lose my temper over an uneven sidewalk. People stare. I lower my head again and walk away. Further. Further away. What happened to you Jonghyun. Ever since... ever since... that. That thing. That horrible thing that happened. Ever since then... I’ve been growing too far apart from the other members. When they joke around together and laugh, it feels so distant. So far away, the capability to laugh. I’m sorry Sun Shin. It may sound selfish but I need you. You probably don’t need me, don’t even think about me at night but I need you to help me heal.
[ Jing Young Min’s POV ]
I woke up today embarrassed. I remember the conversation I had yesterday with the man who wanted to meet me. Yikes. What if he was just a telemarketer. Or a survey person... Oops. I guess I was just too... anxious at the time? The more I think about it, the more embarrassed I become. I pick up the phone and and start typing unconsciously before I consider the possibility that I’m texting a telemarketer.
Hi. You called me yesterday, I was a bit overwhelmed so I replied kind of... embarrassingly. What did you want?
It’s only a little while before he responds.
Neh. It’s alright(: This is Jing Young Min right?
Yeah. How’d you find my number.
Your business card... You run a dry cleaning place, correct?
Aish! How embarrassing! Turns out he’s not a creep... and the second thing he asks is if I run a dry cleaners. Who am I... Guem Jan Di? Why can’t my parents have chosen a more respectable profession?!
Actually it’s my parents xD I just do the communication with the customers and stuff. But uh... who are you?

Sunday? What was I doing on Sunday? I would have normally been sleeping... He crashed into me?! How is he even alive...

At the coffee shop. Tall? Charismatic?
The word tall must have triggered an image in my mind because suddenly I know exactly who he is. And yes. Charismatic. That was why I didn’t beat him up, because he was hot. And the only people I won’t beat up are hot, tall guys. But I’m pretty short anyways so if you’re hot you’re probably qualified as hot.
Oh. I remember now. “Charismatic” must have reminded me(: So. How can I help you?
Uh... Would you like to get a cup of coffee sometime?
Half hour later...
