THIRTY-SEVEN: Study Session What would have been the usual afternoon soccer practice turned into a study session at the library. Xiumin, along with the more responsible members in the team, deemed it better to take the day off so everyone can better prepare for your midterm exams next week. You each went back to your dorms to get your study materials and agreed to meet at the library. “I hope Sehun and D.O. will make up soon,” you sighed. The two had not talked for the rest of your lunchtime, not even when Suho tried to talk to them. You stuffed all your books and notes you could fit into your bag . You have not decided what to study today and decided to just bring everything because you haven’t started in any of your subjects. You heaved a sigh as you stared at your bag. You were not able to remove the crude things that the other students have written there. Because most of them were in marker ink, it’s no use no matter how many times you washed it. You used it anyway since you really didn’t have any other choice. You only had one backpack. You finally proceeded to the library. It was packed with so many students that you were not sure if you’d be able to find the others. “Over here, Joo Ri-ya!” Chanyeol’s booming voice caught your attention, earning himself a brief scolding from one of the librarians. They were already seated at one of the library’s many tables. You sighed dismally as yet again, you earned a lot of stares from the other students, most especially after Chanyeol’s public declaration that you’re there. What happened at the cafeteria earlier turned out to be another big gossip, and you were again at the center of it. Aish. When will this awkward atmosphere last? You quickly made your way to their table, hoping that you don’t get into any more trouble. It’s called cramming. And that does not make you any better,” Xiumin scowled at him.
