It wasn’t that I didn’t like Sehun. In fact, I had felt a spark when we kissed, and I was definitely attracted to him. Rather, it was about repeating the past, or my unwillingness to do so.    Once, I had been head over heels in love with a guy name Kim Jongin. He was a regular sort of guy: went to public high school, hung out with friends, went to dance classes, and had normal middle class working parents. I had been 16 at that time, young and carefree. We dated for almost a year and a half before my mom found out.   She was, of course, not happy with my choice of a boyfriend. So what did she do? She offered Jongin an audition with the biggest entertainment company in South Korea under one condition: he was to end it with me. So, he betrayed me for his dream, and that was that.   Sehun was definitely also middle class. If my mom found out, she’d probably offer Sehun anything he wanted to make him leave me, and because Sehun is human, he’d accept. I couldn’t handle that betrayal again; no, I refuse to put myself in that situation ever again.         Although I did not see or hear from Sehun for a week, another meeting was unavoidable. I did have to go back to Kris' garage and pick up my car after all. I had Yixing drop me off outside of the garage, where Tao stopped us once again.   "Do you need me to wait for you?" Yixing asked, glancing at Tao's arm muscles and dark eyes for a second. "We can leave together after you get your car."   "It's fine; he's harmless," I replied, giving Yixing a kiss on the cheek through the driver side window. "You're going to be late to your dance class, Xing. Thanks for the ride!"   "Text me later," Yixing added with a nod. He rolled the window back up, cranked up his hiphop music, and floored it out of the lot in order to make it to his class on time.   "Friend of yours?" Tao asked in amusement.   I nodded. "Best friend since forever," I replied. "Where is my car? Is it ready?"   "It's ready to go," Tao answered. "Same garage as last time, just go ahead in."   I pulled my sunglasses back down over my eyes and started off around the lot to the main garage.   It seemed that either business was slow recently or the guys had already finished their work for the day, considering how it was early evening. Kris had his feet propped up on a table, sipping ice cold beer from the bottle while Sehun, Jongdae, and three other guys were gathered around a laptop on the other side of the table.   " that's sweet," one of the guys, a tall, slim one with wavy dirty blond hair whistled, looking down at the screen.    "Chanyeol, what would you do if you had that much money?" Jongdae asked, turning to him.   Chanyeol cackled. "Never work another day in my life."   "I don't care about the money," Sehun muttered, shoving Chanyeol away. He was dressed in gray skinny jeans, a white Beatles tshirt, and black beanie, yet somehow looked better than any other guy I could think of, combined.
