“It’ll just be a moment.” you closed the door and ran towards the elevator

You and Dae Hyun are going to meet up the old woman from the antique shop again for some final touch up on the information for the project. You left the files at your place and Dae Hyun drove you back; he waited in the car as you went and grab it. You unlocked the door and entered,

“Where is it…” you mumbled to yourself while going through the files on your desk “Come on, it must be here somewhere.” your hands ran through the files one by one “Found it!” you smiled in glee and walked out of the bedroom to see Kris walking towards you and he looks up; locking gaze with you

He gave a small smile “Hi.”

“H-hi.” you stuttered because you didn’t expect him to be here; not now at least

It had been around three days since the phone call and he did call you back several times that night but because you were too tired due to the crying; you didn’t pick up your phone and slept without realizing you had receive tons of calls and text. Though he didn’t say anything the next day, until today…

“I just got back.” he shrugs

“Yeah.” you nodded awkwardly “I can see that.”

It was awkward and you couldn’t deny it. Sure you missed him, three days ago; you would’ve practically ran towards him and throw your arms around him, crying and sobbing your heart out because you missed him so much. It’s not that you don’t miss him now, you just didn’t felt like hugging him; it wasn’t enough.

“Look, I’m sorry for not contacting you…”

“Neglecting would be the right word.” you cut in

He sighs “You’re right, I did neglect you. And I’m sorry, I do… Gosh, you don’t know how much I missed you everyday.”

“But you didn’t make an effort to call or text me.” you said bluntly

Sure you love him, sure you miss him but here you are at the point where you decided not to care anymore because there’s a lot of things in life that you notice without him and more important than ‘this’. You were tired of waiting for him the entire time, you were the only one making an effort to keep this relationship… Just like last time.

“I know, I know I haven’t been trying but I was so busy. I’m not lying, I was so tired, I got stressed out, they expect me to give my all and promise a somewhat amazing profit and I have to come up with something that promises them a good share between the companies.” he sighs “I didn’t mean to just avoid you or anything. It’s just that it really has caught up on me, I couldn’t even find time for myself.”
