“Do you really have to go?” you ask
“You could come along.” he took both of your hands in his
“You know I can’t do that.” you were disappointed in your own decision but choosing your boyfriend over studies weren’t really a good choice
“Because you’re Lee Hyo Ri.” he smiled and ruffled your hair
“It’s not that I don’t love you enough to…”
“It’s okay Hyo Ri, relax…” he chuckles and kisses your forehead and turns to his watch “I guess it’s time for me to leave.”
Your lips slightly trembled “Don’t.”
“Hyo Ri…”
“I… I’m sorry.” you apologized when a tear ran down your cheeks
“Don’t be sorry, you did nothing wrong.” he pulls you into his warm embrace
“I just have a bad feeling Kris, that there’s something bad going to happen.”
“Don’t say that.” Kris your hair gently “Everything’s going to be fine, it’s just a week Hyo Ri.” he paused “I know a week is too long for both of us but please bear with it, for me. Cause I’ll do it, for you…” he gazes softly into your eyes
You nodded “Don’t forget to call me when you’re not busy.”
“I won’t.” he smiled and pulls you towards him; his lips covered yours and it hurts how gentle and soft the kiss was because it made you feel like you really were going to lose him
“Think positive and remember… I’ll always love you.”
“I’ll always love you too.”
“Sir, it’s time.” one of Kris’ worker pointed at his watch
“I’ll see you in a week.” he turns back to you
“In a week…” you mumbled
“Bye.” he waved and hesitantly turns around. Don’t look back Kris, you’re making it more difficult for her…
And he didn’t…
It was just him leaving for another country, it’s not like he was going to battle out his life in a battlefield or something but you know you will miss him terribly, and that worried feeling in your chest was tamed when Kris’ words comforted you.

“Kris left for Paris last night and he’s going to be there for a week.”
“Aww, Hyo Ri… Hey, if you ever need someone around, I’ll be there okay?” she slung an arm around your shoulder
“Thanks Bora.” you gave a small appreciative smile
