“So who are you, really?” you flipped the piece of meat on the grill; it was lunch time and you went to grab lunch with Daehyun

“Curious are you?” Daehyun smirks

“Very.” you nodded

“I can’t really tell about myself, it’s a secret.” he puts a finger to his lips

“Tch, fine.” you rolled your eyes

“Sorry I’m late!” Bora places her bag next to you

“It’s okay.” Daehyun nods

“Ahh, the heavenly smell of beef in the air, I’m starving.” she chuckles and sat down

“Where were you?” you ask her

“In the library searching on SNU, I need to get my details right.” she sighs deeply

“You really went to search for it?” your eyes widened

“Yeah, as y as I am, I still want a good report, you?”

“As long as the results isn’t out yet, I won’t make a move to write a new one.” you scoff and place the meat on her plate

Daehyun smiled at your answer “Hey, aren’t you supposed to go eat lunch with the guy named Chanyeol?”

You paused yourself from biting into the meat when you heard that “Oh My God! I am such a terrible best friend!” you smack the chopstick on the table “Should I call them here instead?”

“Them?” Bora looked up from her food

“Pleaseee, I’ll pay for them.” you pouted

“That’s not exactly a worry to me.” he shakes his head with a small chuckle

“Then what?”

“I don’t really mind, invite him.” he shrugs and continues eating *Actually I do…*

“Yeol-ah!” you beamed through the phone “I’m at the Korean Grill Stop in town. Come over and we’ll have lunch.”

“Really? Oh, okay. I’ll be there soon then.” he ends the call

“Problem solved!” you clasp your hands together

“But you’re already eating.” Bora pointed at your food

“I ate a little, I’ll eat the rest when he gets here.” you pat your tummy and sipped the drink

“What? Is he gonna get hurt when he sees you eating without him?” Daehyun raises a brow

“Maybe, I mean he asked me to go and have lunch with him yet here I am eating lunch with someone else and completely forgetting he asked me that question. He’s been my best friend for so long now and I really should treat him better. Gosh I’m awful.” you groaned

“Come on, cheer up. Not everyone is perfect in friendship.” Daehyun smiled

“Yeah, I guess so.”
