“I have something to say.” Kris was sitting across you with his knees touching yours

“And what is that?” you didn’t like the sound of it

“I’m leaving for Paris within 5 days and I’m gonna be there for a week.” he answers

Your face literally fell “Oh…”

“Don’t say that…” he grunts

“Say what?” you chuckled half-heartily

“That ‘oh’ thingy, its gonna make me feel guilty.”

“It’s fine really.” you assured him

“No it’s not, I know you long enough to know that the ‘oh’ you meant was ‘no’.” he made a straight face

“I know you’re going there for a business trip Kris, don’t worry about it okay?” you reach out and caress his cheek

“Gah! You’re making it harder for me to leave.” he whined

“It’s just for a week right?”

“Yeah right, you’re saying as if it’s so easy, a week not seeing your face, I’d rather have you around for my entire living second.”

“You’re gonna hate my annoying self, I mean it’s not like you’re leaving forever. You’ll come back, maybe it’s time we give other some breathing air.”

“You never took any of mine.”

“And neither do you.” you smiled back

“I have brilliant idea!” he exclaims in excitement

“What is it?”

He pulled you close by the waist which made you spontaneously put your hand on his chest so you won’t crash against him “Why don’t you come along to Paris with me?”

You scoffed “You’re joking.”

“Do I look like it?” he raises a brow

“Kris… I can’t.”

“Why not?” he pouts as he meets your eyes

“I just entered college and I can’t just bail for a week with my boyfriend. What would people say?”

“That you bailed for a week with your boyfriend.” he bluntly answers

You scoffed again at him “Exactly.”

“Aww, come on. It’s Paris that we’re talking about, the city of lights, the city of love… Come on.” he pulled your hands

“I can’t…” you whispered; even you were disappointed in your decision

“Why do you have to be someone who follows the rules?”

“Umm, didn’t you teach me that?”

“I taught you how to get A’s, not follow rules.”

“Yah, stop acting like a child.” you poke his nose

“Then how about a three days vacation; just the two of us.” he suggested

“Kris…”

“What? You don’t want a week, so let’s have three days. Please…” he begged

“And where would we go?”

“Busan.” he smiled

“Why Busan?”

“Isn’t that where our love first started?” he smirks

“Tch, I guess.”

You and Kris finally arrived at the same hotel in Busan that you went more than a year ago. You sat on the couch while Kris get the rooms and you had to roll your eyes when the girls walking around kept looking at Kris; they were ogling to be exact.

“Some things never change don’t they?” you whispered to yourself

You got up and decided to take a walk along the garden of the hotel. You stopped abruptly when you remembered Jae Hyo kissing you right beside that tree and bushes, the chaste kiss under the rain. The pain he sent through it; you can’t help but to wonder where he is. You kinda miss him.
