With two groups down, there was only one group left. EXO all entered the backyard of the house and saw six girls sitting behind two tables. Their seats? Swings. The twelve members greeted everyone enthusiastically and were very interested in the six girls that sat before them. Tao who stood closest to the writers was handed a gold envelope. He passed it down to the middle of the group where Baekhyun opened it up.

“Dear EXO, welcome to the house. Out of the twelve of you, we are sorry to say we can only keep four of you here.”

There were already complaints despite Baekhyun having only read half of what was written. He ignored them and continued on.

“The members who are in have already been decided and we will tell you who got in. But first you must perform for the girls in front of you and welcome them to the house. Seeing as there are a lot of you, pairing up is acceptable and will guarantee that you get screen time. This may be your only chance to be on screen so make it count.”

The boys of EXO took a moment to let the information sink in. This was the problem with having lots of members. To hear that only four of them were in. That was only a third of their members. Whereas with the other groups, they had three left. That wasn’t as bad.

“Do we have some time to prepare?” Chen asked.

Once given the okay, the boys all huddle up and decided on a game plan. They all split up into their different teams and soon the first group stepped up.

First, was the group of Chanyeol, D.O., Baekhyun, and Suho. Christine was really anticipating their performance and considering these four were together, she had a hunch as to what they’d be performing. Chanyeol counted down and then Christine had to contain her excitement as she heard the four sing Baby Don’t Cry. Christine was doing fine at containing her spazzing until Channyeol did his rap. She raised her green circle in the air and grinned like an idiot as she swayed back and forth. The other girls were amused at Christine but didn’t make fun of her for spazzing. Because they were the same way. In fact, MinHae joined Christine in the raising of the green circle and swayed along to the song. The four other girls found themselves copying the girls and the boys soon ended their song. Seeing the green circles raised in the air, the four thanked the girls and the next group came up.

Chen and Luhan sang What Is Love and received three circles. Seeing that they didn’t pass left them baffled. Were they not fans of the Chinese version? Did they prefer when D.O. and Baekhyun sung the Korean version? Either way, they were forced to think of something different. They stepped aside and let the next group go as they thought of what else they could do. Kai and Tao were the next to go and they danced for the group. MinYoung, being a fan of dancers enjoyed the dance and gave them a green circle. JiHae didn’t know much when it came to EXO. She liked their music and knew a few names. She could even place a face to some of those names. Kai was one of the few names she could place with a face. And she couldn’t help but focus on only Kai. The other girls loved their dance as well. Maybe the looks had to do with it as well but they were given six green circles. The two cheered and thanked the girls, joining the other four that has passed.

The next group was the last four remaining members with Chen and Luhan tagging along.

“We have agreed to let Chen and Luhan join us in dancing to our song History,” Kris said to the girls.

“But if you’re going to just give them a bad score again we can kick them out real quick,” Xiumin said.

Xiumin’s remark caused the girls to laugh and Christine spoke.

“I’ll give you a circle no matter what,” she said.

Hearing this, the boys all cheered and thanked Christine. She was smiling so wide that her cheeks were starting to hurt. By the end of the month, she wouldn’t have any cheeks left she figured. Would all their fragile fangirl hearts last the whole month?

The final group passed with six green circles leading the writers to hand Xiumin yet another gold envelope. Be My Fan had a thing for gold envelopes. Xiumin opened up the envelope and the backyard was silent with anticipation. He frowned when he didn’t see his name.

“D.O., Suho, Chanyeol, and Kai,” he read out in monotone.

The girls clapped for the ones that got in and Christine gave words of encouragement to those who weren’t chosen. Those not chosen said their goodbyes and tried to keep a smile on their faces as they left. They’d be back. They just didn’t know it.

“I’m so happy I got in!” D.O. cheered.

He went over and gave Kai a great big hug and cheered along with him.

“This is awesome!” Kai exclaimed.

The four chosen went to claim the last room and cut was called. The girls all sighed with relief and began to fan themselves.

“EXO are all so handsome and I just met them in person and I actually said words to them,” Christine said then concluded, “I can die happy.”

“And our bias made it in,” MinHae said. “I’m so happy that I can’t even think properly.”

All of their biases made it in. And the girls couldn’t stop gushing about the boys as they continued to sit on the swings. The writers had told them they weren’t allowed in the house until the boys had gotten themselves settled in and had a chance to talk.

The girls soon were called inside and saw the twelve guys waiting for them.

“We didn’t even get to learn your names earlier,” Woohyun said. “I want to learn the name of the beautiful girls that I’ll be spending a month with.”

Woohyun’s members couldn’t help but shake their head at him. By the end of the month, he’ll have used enough grease to fill a swimming pool. The girls all took their turns introducing themselves and once introduction were out of the way, the show could really begin.

The crew came inside and upon seeing a gold envelope in their hands, the boys feared for their life. What curve ball were they about to throw? However, the envelope was handed to JiHae. She opened up the envelope and read aloud what was inside.

“Welcome all to Be My Fan. With the cast officially announced, the real show can begin. To start off, a challenge to see who will cook dinner tonight.”

Everyone looked around confused. A challenge? Already?

“We’re just judging it right?” MinHae assured.

The girls were relieved to hear that yes, they were just judging. But…

“The one who is chosen to cook dinner will choose one of you girls to help.”

The challenge was a dance off of sorts. The crew would play a song and the first to go up and dance it correct was safe. The girls took a seat on the floor and prepared to judge. Though tonight they’ mostly just enjoy the boys making fools of themselves.

The dance off was utter chaos as the boys would rush to the middle only to forget the dance or dance the wrong part. One by one, the numbers dwindled down and it was left to two of the boys. Chanyeol and Woohyun. Knowing Sunggyu’s past difficulties on Weekly Idol, the girls were surprised to see he had passed. The song that played was A-Pink’s No No No. Chanyeol rushed out upon hearing the chorus and he danced it with such determination. It wasn’t until he was given the ding signaling he passed did he hide his face in embarrassment. The girls clapped for him and called him cute. He couldn’t believe he did that so he didn’t have to cook dinner.

Since he passed, that meant that Woohyun was the one stuck cooking dinner. He didn’t hesitate in picking his cooking parter.

“SoEun-ssi,” he said.

“Huh?” SoEun jolted hearing her name.

Both Woohyun and SoEun headed to the kitchen to cook and the others went to set up the table.
