Christine walked into the white room and grinned. Here she was. On the set of Be My Fan. The director came over and greeted Christine. She bowed and thanked the director for this opportunity. Christine was led over to a stool in the middle of the room and she took a seat, feeling anxious. Was she going to meet the boys? The other girls?

“This is just a simple interview. Only you,” the director explained.

Christine nodded as the director went on.

“The questions are ones that you’ve already answered. So no worries.”

Again, Christine nodded and waited for action to be called.

“Hello! I’m Kim HyeRi, but please call me Christine. I’m an exotic who is more than excited to have this chance to be with my oppas!”

The thought of being one step closer to Chanyeol made her feel giddy inside. She was grinning wide at the camera.

“Why do you like EXO?”

“There are 12 cute boys-- what's not to love? Aside from that, I am pretty SM biased so I was excited to hear that they had a new group coming out. I was not disappointed at all. From the moment, I saw Kai in the first teaser I was hooked. EXO has a quality to them that reminds me of so many different genres of music. They are so versatile to sing an R&B song to rap to rock. Plus, they are beyond talented, hilarious, and cute.”

The fact that Christine was able to give an intelligent answer that wasn’t full of her stumbling for the correct way to say it in Korean made her beam. Maybe cameras weren’t that intimidating. Maybe.

The writers moved on to their next question.

“Why do you want to be a part of this show?”

This question was easier for Christine to answer.

“I love kpop of course. Plus, my friend back home dared me to send in an application and surprisingly, I got in! Hopefully by being on this I can represent Australia and the EXOtic fandom and make them both proud!”

There was now only one more question that needed to be answered.

“Do you have anything to say to your fellow cast mates?”

Christine nodded her head.

“Hello girls! We get to meet soon and I’m so excited! Let’s all get along and be friends, okay?”

Christine smiled at the camera until the director called cut. She then let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding in.
