He left his brother and Hyesung alone and the hospital room. They had their joy in their arms, sleeping quietly.

Yoona was still beside him. Her family had already come and congratulated the Ok Family for their newest addition. He was glad that that Yoona’s family had come. Sometimes he felt that Hyesung needed another woman figure in the family. She was always surrounded by men. And also he saw that Hyesung and Mrs. Im shared a special bond.

He was glad that their families were getting along well.

Their families were comfortable with each. Before it was not the case. And now, they were at ease in the other’s presence.

The Im family did not go home. Mrs. Im was busily chatting with Hyesung, guiding her and giving some tips into parenting. Jaebeom and Taecsu went out to get the rest something to drink from the cafe that was nearby. Mr. Im and Mr. Ok were on about business matters.

And as for the other two...

They sat in silence. Absorbing the bustle around them, observing the happiness and joy in the atmosphere, enjoying the company of the other.

Yoona only came to realise that her relationship with Taecyeon never need much. His presence was enough. Even an exchange of words was not seen as necessary between the two. It was strange contentment that she did not think anybody else could understand, apart from the two.

“Do you want to eat something?” Yoona snapped out of her daze and noticed that Taecyeon was looking at her.

Yoona silently nodded.

She wasn’t hungry for food, she simply wanted to be by his side and spend more time with him.

“Come. Let’s go.” He got up and followed by Yoona. Their hands were still laced from before. The gesture was comfortable and warm. Both liked the warmth the other gave. It was a secure and safe feeling. It was a form of reassurance that they were not in a dream and the other truly was beside them.

Their walk was slow, their hands swaying slightly.
