Yoona stared at the man who was standing outside.

She could not believe it.

Taecyeon was here?

Did he leave Busan to wish her?

She opened her window to talk to him.

“Taecyeon-ssi? How come you are here? Just wait. I will be down there now.” Yoona quickly took off. She was not going to wait any second longer.

Taecyeon was here.

Late, but he came in person.

When she ran out, she was panting slightly from the running. She did not want to waste time. It had been such a long time.

Less than a week, in all honesty.

But she missed him so much.

Before he could say anything, she wrapped her around him and hugged him. She wanted to do this for a long time. But this hug was impulsive. She did not care what Taecyeon did, she only continued hugging him.

She really liked this feeling.

Yoona felt a warmth engulfing and it did not take long to realise that Taecyeon had actually wrapped his arms around her as well.

She felt complete now.

The feeling was returned and this was truly the bestest birthday present he had given her.

The hug was broken, neither feeling awkward but instead their eyes twinkling with something that neither could define.

“Happy Birthday Yoona-ssi.” Taecyeon wished her softly while giving her a small wrapped present.

Yoona looked at him in disbelief. He even got her a present.

Her silence was worrying Taecyeon.

“I am sorry I did not wish you before. But I heard somewhere that the last wish on someone’s birthday is more special than the first wish.”

Now in retrospect, Yoona found those words true. Truly, her birthday did feel so much more special when it was about it to be over. But that also come with a whole day’s wait and sadness.

“Thank you.” She whispered. Yoona did not trust her voice anymore. “Can I open it?” She asked softly.

Her happiness overcame her when she saw his smile with his slight nod.

They sat on the bench that was nearby.
