CHAPTER11 It had been about an hour since Miah woke up and began limping around the abandoned hotel. She had searched three floors already, but It wasn’t easy seeing as how the floors were missing or weak in many places; some rooms were blocked off or locked; and top it off, she was hurt. She tried searching for a first aid kit, but came up empty handed. No surprise there though.   Currently, she was halfway done with her fourth floor. She had started with the floor she landed on, then the one she last saw the guys. Without a trace of them on either, she decided to work her way down. She somehow felt the ground would be safer bet than higher places. Maybe because it would be easier to escape.   She tried the door closest to her, but it was locked like so many before it. Aish! she mentally cursed. Walking past it she reached for the next door, and to her surprise she heard a *click*. The surprising part was not that the door in front of her was open, because it wasn't; she hadn't even touched the handle yet. What had sweat start beading at her forehead was that the click was coming from the door she had just passed.   Turning, Miah found the door she had thought was locked was now sitting ajar in its frame. What the hell? I’m sure it wouldn’t budge before, she thought in apprehension. Slowly she crept to it, a bad filing in the pit of her stomach. Before entering she couldn’t help but think, maybe this isn’t such a good idea. Shaking her head, she ignored that thought and entered.   The room was musty with a thick film of dust coving everything. It had a small twin bed in the corner, along with a desk and bureau on the opposite wall. A mirror covered closet stood facing her with streaks that made it hard to see any kind of reflection. Walking over to the closet, she used her sleeve to wipe some grime away and stared at the image of herself. Before her was a wide eyed girl with messy brown hair, red eyes, a dirt covered face, and torn clothes. She had never seen herself like this before. It was frightening; so much so that she began to shake. She was scared, and immediately realized that was the second time she thought that in the short time they had entered Silent Hill. If anything her inner voice was shriller then it had been the last time she had said it. "Suho, Junggie, where are you? I don’t want to die here alone," she whimpered.   Shaking her head violently, she threw those thoughts away. No use scaring myself more! Shifting, she headed toward the desk. There were papers scattered everywhere. She picked one up, but the writing on it was an old script; the paper yellowed and stained with time. There’s nothing here. She began to head back to the door, but her chest started to burn, and her vision turned white, almost making her fall to her knees. What’s going on? she thought in a panic.   Not yet, a voice sounded in her mind.   That voice! That wasn’t mine! she thought frightened. “Hello, is someone there?” she called aloud, thinking she had been hearing things. No answer came.    Miah swiveled back to the desk. "Maybe there is something here," she mumbled and kneeled, opening and closing drawers. She didn’t know what she was looking for, but for some reason she knew she would find something. Reaching under the desk she felt a small hole. Nervous, but determined, she pushed her finger in. *click* Stepping back at the sound, a secret compartment opened and out dropped a book.   Greedily, she grabbed it, blowing off the dust on both sides before seriously looking at it. It was a deep red with gold lettering. The cover read:     The Book of Gillespie     It had no author name or any other writings on its cover. Giving it a slow rub, Miah felt warmth flow from her palm up to her hand, and into the rest of her body. She glanced around; seeing no one she scooted over to a corner and made herself comfortable. She did a quick flip through of the book and could have sworn she saw sparks of light as the pages ran by. "I must be going crazy. First monsters, now random flashes of light?" She opened past the first page which just reiterated the books cover. The second and third pages were blank, but as Miah got to the fourth she found writing in a neat cursive. It looks really old, she noted of the yellow

Chapter 13: Well, I don't know. I'm the type of person to easily get scared so... This is scary enough for me. Even if it's scary, it's a good scary. Besides, I needed to venture out of my comfort zone anyway. :-) This is really good! ^_^

Chapter 5: I'm not a big fan of horror but I don't hate it either. I just easily get scared. It's really creeping me out. But, I must be strong and continue. Anyway, I've never watched or played the movie or game before. What's it about?
