Niel was busy scribbling down notes while their teacher discusses their first lesson. Even though it’s only their first day, it didn’t stop their teacher to proceed on her lesson.

“During the Han dynasty’s occupation, the South, inhabited by agricultural communities, remained independent. Through times, some of these communities developed into strong states and eventually, three of them survived and has transformed into kingdoms.”

Niel yawns and looks up at the teacher in front. He rested his chin on his left palm as he taps his pen on the table in a bored manner. He had given up on writing what she’s been saying for he couldn’t follow. She’s talking way too fast for students to follow and write down notes. She even inserts small english words making it harder for him to understand.  

Even though history is one of his favorite subjects, this teacher made it sound dull and boring. He’s not the least bit interested anymore. He hates to admit, but L.Joe and Chunji’s lessons are more entertaining and interesting than this.

“These kingdoms, namely, Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla—” She proceeded on her lesson.

Niel sighed and looks around the classroom to entertain his self and to avoid him from dozing off. He saw some of his guy classmates throwing crumpled paper towards each other when the teacher turns her back on them. Niel rolled his eyes at how immature they are. ‘That’s so lame.’ He thought and scans the room more and a simple girl caught his eyes, sitting on his right two sits at the front.

It looks like she’s the only sane one in the room. She had her head lowered as she scribbles on her notes, obviously writing down what their teacher had been saying. Niel tilted his head to take a better look at her face but all he could see was her side, her hair curtaining half of her face.

“Hey nerdy~” He heard the girl from behind her calls and kicking her desk. He looked at her in disapproval. ‘Queenkas.’ He muttered. The girl he had been staring at chose to ignore them, biting her lips. Niel wanted to help her but he couldn’t. She’s too far from him and he doesn’t want to cause a scene.

But the angel wing clip on her hair caught his eyes.

“Why does that look familiar?” He thought as a finger founds it way on the side of his lips.

The class was disturbed when they suddenly heard screaming and whistling outside their classroom. Niel moved his eyes to look at the window beside him in curiosity. This isn’t the only time the students in his school had been chaotic but it still surprise him.

He scans his eyes outside and sees girls and some guys forming together as they try to see something, or more like someone. They had been circling over an approaching limousine towards their building.

‘Whoa. A limo.’

He kept his starry eyes on the limousine. Their teacher tried to get their attention back but she fails and eventually gives up. The guys already rushed towards the window, trying to see what the commotion was.

The limousine stopped in front of their building as a guy with a black clean suit exited from the front seat before moving to open the door from behind him. He slightly bowed as he helps the girl inside step out.

The screaming increased as some girls wave their hands frantically to catch her attention. While the guys kept on pushing each other to try and catch the visitor’s attention too.

“Looks like we have a celebrity in town.” Niel muttered, not even interested the least bit.

He was about to return his attention back at the front when his eyes caught something rather familiar. His eyes widened when he caught sight of the ‘person’ everyone is eager to see.

She stepped out of her limousine with her dashing fashionable clothes and shades, a small cute smile plastered on her lips causing the guys to have red hearts on their eyes.

Niel stood up in surprise, eyes not leaving the girl’s frame. He looked at her in pure alarm.

He felt his guy classmates beside him pushing each other in turn to stand by the window and see the celebrity everyone has been getting crazy over.

“Holy . Is that Kim Haemi?!”

Niel glanced at his classmate beside him in confusion.

“You know her?” He couldn’t help but ask.

“Dude, who wouldn’t?? She’s the hottest topic right now on the internet. She’s the new sensation!”

“Damn, how I wish she could notice me.”

“Dream on, man. You? Get noticed by her?! I bet she’s seeing someone right now.”

Niel removed his attention from his classmates and back outside.

“I gotta tell the others.” He thought and turns around to leave for the door.

The moment he took a step outside, he saw Teen Top; minus Cap and Changjo, rushing towards him.

“Guys, she’s here.” He announced in horror. Chunji nodded and glanced at L.Joe in alarm.

“Any ideas? This is freakin urgent. We need a plan!”

L.Joe took his phone out to dial Changjo’s phone. They need him now.

Ricky taps his chin as he looks around cautiously.

“. Changjo’s phone is off.” L.Joe cursed.

“He must’ve turned it off.” Ricky says as he bit his nails in worry. Chunji glanced at Niel.

He slapped Niel’s shoulder, making him jump.

“Niel, get your boyfriend’s in here!”

Changjo was calmly writing down notes the teacher had written on the board while his classmates are busy trying to see outside through the window. Even though the class is already in chaos, their teacher proceeded on writing the lesson.

Changjo heard giggling behind him and he tried hard to ignore them, like what he’s doing at the commotion outside.

“Look, he’s not interested on her~”

“Even a model couldn’t just get his attention easily. He’s sooo cool~” A girl says dreamily.

”But I hope he notice me~” the other girl pouts.

A vein popped on the side of Changjo’s head as he tries to ignore the screaming from outside. “Damn it.” He may seem calm and composed, but deep inside, he’s in full panic. He tried to focus his attention on the lesson on the board but he couldn’t. As much as he dislikes studying, he suddenly finds it interesting at this moment. He’d rather give his attention on the board rather than outside… and to her.

He just let out a sigh to calm his nerves down. He leaned on his chair and closed his eyes.

“What is she doing here?” He thought.

His eyes snapped open when he heard someone calling for his name outside the door.

“Pst! Changjo!” It was Niel. He was waving his hands at Changjo crazily and motions for him to follow.

Changjo’s mood lightens and he immediately stood up and left the room without second thought. The two made their way back to where the others are.

“Now he’s here, what’s the plan?” Chunji asked and looks at everyone.

Ricky was in deep thought. L.Joe ruffles his hair in annoyance as he thinks of something.

“This is so sudden. I’m out of ideas.” L.Joe admitted honestly.

Ricky took something from his bag and showed everyone a mini skirt and a white simple blouse; the school’s uniform for girls.

“Hyung! Wear this!” He exclaims.

Everyone looked at him and at the clothes he’s holding.

“Where the hell did you get those?” Chunji asked, impressed at Ricky for being prepared. He taps Ricky’s back and cheers.

“Why were those in your bag?” Niel rounded his eyes at Ricky in horror.

“Just wear it!”

“Changjo, you know what to do.” At Ricky’s suggestion, L.Joe suddenly has a plan in mind. He gave Changjo a nod. “We prepared for this.” He says.

Ricky quickly dragged Niel inside the boy’s toilet room to help him change. He’s in charge of transforming Niel into a real girl and he’s more excited to do so.

Changjo glanced at Niel and Ricky before nodding at L.Joe.

“I got it.”

Just like what they practiced. The real act starts today.

Changjo was walking down the hallway with a girl beside him.

All the students’ attention shifted from the celebrity guest to Changjo and the girl with him. But all the guys’ eyes were focused on the new girl Changjo has on his side. She had shoulder length brown hair that is slightly curled at the bottom. She’s wearing the school’s uniform and this made the guys die in curiosity to who the new girl is.

She was looking down rather shyly, her eyes almost covered by her bangs.

“Who’s that girl?! Does she go in this school too?!”

“No way! How can I not notice her is she goes here?! Changjo hid his girl so effin good!”

“She’s Changjo’s girl?! Damn she’s hot!”

Niel fidgeted uncomfortably as he tries to pull his skirt down. The skirt Ricky made him wear as a disguise to look like a girl. It’s too short for his liking. He bit his lips as he takes shy steps beside Changjo, ignoring the whistles he’s getting from the guys.

“Damn it guys, it’s me!” He screamed in his head after hearing his guy classmates talk about him.

‘Take note, kill Ricky later.’ He thought and frowns.

Changjo took Niel’s hand in his to stop him from tugging on his skirt. He couldn’t remove the smirk on his face as they walk down the hallway to meet the school’s most precious visitor; Kim Hae Mi.

It’s now time to show everyone who’s his real girl. Ahn Danielle.

CAP stood behind the rest, checking the ‘new’ girl who was with Changjo. He was the last one to come out of his classroom in Teen Top. He heard interesting news and it tickled his interests.

“Two hot girls in our school!”

“Whoa. That chick with a mini skirt is hot.” He whistled. L.Joe, Ricky and Chunji looked at CAP in disbelief.

CAP raised both his eyebrows at the look s are giving him.

“What? Don’t you agree with me? Cause surely that girl has a fine .”

“Hyung, you do realize you’re talking about Niel right now?” Chunji gawked at him.

Ricky grinned and laughs, knowing he did a good transformation of Niel. L.Joe shook his head as he continues watching the two, trying to guard them.

CAP blinked. That hot girl is Niel? Damn.

Chunji shook his head in disapproval.

Changjo and Niel stopped in front of Haemi with their hands locked together. This of course, didn’t go unnoticed by Haemi’s hawk like eyes. She frowns at the presence of Niel with them. She’s only expecting to see Changjo but not with her.

“Jonghyun, I’ve been looking for you…” Haemi trailed and glanced at the girl beside Changjo. She looked at her up and down. ‘She’s finally wearing girl’s clothes.’ She thought in amusement.

Changjo only stared at her but didn’t say anything. He only wished for her to leave.

“Annyeong~” She moved her eyes to look at Niel beside him.

“And you too.” She gave Niel a charming smile. Obviously fake, but Niel didn’t see it. He even thought Haemi’s smile is cute.

Niel lightly bowed his head and took a quick glance at Changjo.

“What are you doing here?” Changjo finally spoke.

“Why? Can’t I visit my fianc—“

“Leave.” Changjo growls under his breath. He wouldn’t let Haemi talk about that agreement in his school. He was aware of the audience they are having around them. Niel gripped on Changjo’s hand in worry, not sure of what to do. He slightly tugged on the maknae’s hand to calm him down.

Niel glanced behind him to see Teen Top beside a pillar. They gave fist-pump and cheers for him and he couldn’t help but smile at how supportive they were of him. His eyes then travelled to the smallest boy who only had a small smile on his thin lips.

L.Joe gave him a simple nod and a smile.

“You can do it.” He mouthed. Niel nodded before returning his attention back to Haemi.

“We shouldn’t talk here. Let’s go move somewhere more private.” Changjo suggested. Haemi only agreed and nodded as well. “We should. We have too much audience in here.” She says, looking around with an obvious pout making the guys go crazy and girls envy for her cuteness and innocence.

Changjo glanced at Niel and gave him a nod. Niel only blinked as he rides on the flow. They their heels and proceeded on the school’s office to talk.

L.Joe sighs as he watches them leave. “Trust in yourself, Niel.” He thought before facing the rest of Teen Top.

“Guys, we’ll all meet up in the boys’ locker room.” He announced and receives an understanding nod from them.

On their way, Haemi couldn’t help but notice Changjo’s different behavior with Niel. He’s been smiling as he pulls the other close to him. Hands closely intertwined. She never knew Changjo liked skinship this much.

Haemi crossed her arms when she saw Niel’s blush. ‘Acting cute.’ She huffs. That’s what all girls do to attract men.

Changjo let out a soft chuckle when a pout appeared on Niel’s plump lips. He had been teasing him and Haemi couldn’t understand what they were talking about. She feels like an outsider on their inside jokes.

Haemi watched Changjo with confused eyes. This is the only time she had seen Changjo smiling… and even laughing.

She shook her thoughts away and straightened up. She stopped walking and frowns.

It didn’t take Niel a while to notice this and slightly turns his body to glance at Haemi. Changjo remove the smile on his face as he followed Niel’s line of gaze.

“Jonghyun, I just came here to see you.” She cleared , pointing out the purpose of her sudden visit.

Changjo glanced at her and waited for her to continue.

“And I… came to check up on you.”

Changjo just stared at her with an emotionless face. Niel looked at the girl in worry. “Changjo, you don’t have to be too harsh on her.” He whispers and glanced at Changjo beside him who doesn’t even show any interest on what the girl in front of them is saying.

“What do you see me as? A patient?” Changjo finally spoke. Haemi looked at him with her big, round eyes.

They heard the bell ring, indicating that the students should proceed on their classes. Some students whine but obeyed as they return to their own respected classrooms.

“N-no. I just want to know how you are here.” She defended and grips on her bag. No. She wouldn’t be humiliated twice by him in front of that girl.

“Why would you?” Changjo asked, looking down at her.

Haemi lowered her gaze and bit her lips.

“I just want to know my fiancé more.” She blurted out. Changjo widened his eyes at how careless Haemi uses her words. He felt Niel freeze beside him.

Changjo glanced at Niel in confusion. ‘His hands turned cold.’

He felt his heart skipped a bit when Niel looked up and met his eyes.

“Changjo. What does she mean?”

Changjo felt his heart stopped at the sight of Niel’s wide, confused eyes looking at him.

“N-Niel. What?” He couldn’t find his tongue. He’s lost. He doesn’t get why Niel is starting to act strange. He doesn’t know how to respond.

“She mentioned something about fiancé…” Niel continued and hesitantly glanced back at Haemi. His voice holds sadness and pain.

“You didn’t know?” Haemi huffs and crossed her arms at Niel, hoping that she’ll leave Changjo once she made clear that Changjo already belongs to her. She tried not to smirk in front of Niel as she watches her lose.

Niel looked down and shook his head, answering Haemi’s question with a simple gesture.

“I-I’m sorry.” Niel stuttered and removes his hands from Changjo. “I have to go.” Niel excused before turning around, running away.

Changjo watched Niel leave in worry.

“Niel?” He called. What has gotten to him to act like that? He was about to run after him when Haemi held him back.

“Jonghyun. You should’ve told her about us already so she wouldn’t get hurt like this.”

Changjo only blinked at her. He started to understand Niel’s actions. He started to realize the meaning behind it. Right, they need to be in character. Their pretend. How could he forget? Changjo straightened up and smirked mentally before readying his turn in having a show.

He turned and glared at Haemi.

“If you only leave me alone, this wouldn’t happen.” He barked and harshly tugged his arms from Haemi’s hold. “I’ve been telling you this, I have a girlfriend. I love Niel so leave me alone!” Those words left Changjo’s mouth so naturally. Haemi frowns at this.

“What if she’s only using you!? What if she only wants you because of your money?!”

“She loves me for who I am. She doesn’t even know about my wealth.”

“But I can love you more than her! She’s not slightest bit attractive; she doesn’t even act like a girl. She has thick lips and her face is not pretty!”

“Look. No matter what you say about Niel, nothing will change my feelings for him.”

“Him?” Haemi repeated in her mind. She shrugged the thought away thinking that Changjo had just mistaken his choice words.

“But Jonghyun…”

Changjo didn’t waste any more time and runs after Niel.

“Niel!” He calls as he turns into a corner. He scans around outside the building and saw Niel under the big old tree beside the soccer field, sitting down on his legs, face covered by his palms. If he didn’t saw the rubber band on his left wrist, he wouldn’t know it was Niel all along and he would think she’s just another girl. He knows Niel likes having rubber bands on his wrist. He wouldn’t leave the dorm without wearing one. Changjo is aware of this and he’s more glad that he's taking small notes about his best buddy's interests.

“Niel…” He called again and squats down in front of his hyung. He took Niel’s arms away carefully from his face. His heart broke at the sight of Niel’s tears threatening to fall in his eyes.

“Niel??” He asked in extreme worry. He didn’t know Niel would take this act so seriously to let tears form in his eyes. But he did thought Niel did a great act of convincing Haemi about their relationship. It only encourages him more to do the same.

Niel only looked at him and gave Changjo an innocent stare.

“Is what she said true?”

Changjo tilted his head and furrowed his eyebrows at this. Hasn’t their drama already ended when they left Haemi inside? This confused Changjo and he doesn’t know how to respond or even say to his hyung. He was speechless.

“Niel, I thought you knew?”

“But… I didn’t know it was this serious…” Niel pouted and looks away.

Changjo softened and pulled Niel in an embrace. He couldn’t tell if this is part of the act or not anymore. He’s too good at acting it could deceive Changjo and even convince him that they are indeed together. But he had to remember everything is just a pretend. He has to know that they both have their limitations and they’re just doing this for they have their purpose.

Niel returned Changjo’s hug and smiles. He moved his eyes to look behind him. Haemi is standing behind a pillar, watching them.

“Changjo… do you love me?”

Changjo froze at the sudden question Niel is asking him. He slightly pulled away from the hug but kept his hold around Niel’s waist.

“What?”

“Tell me you love me.” Niel stared deeply into Changjo’s eyes. Changjo suddenly forgot how to think.

“I love you, Niel.” He did hesitated at first, not knowing how to properly say those three magical words. He had never used those words before and it felt strange saying it. But somehow, it felt nice saying those words to Niel. It felt weird.. but nice.

Niel smiled and pulls away. He gave Changjo a quick kiss on his cheek and grins playfully.

“That’s all I want to hear.”

Changjo had his eyes wide as he stares at his hyung in a daze. He unconsciously touches his cheek Niel has planted his lips moments ago. Niel couldn’t help but laugh at Changjo’s expression.

Haemi frowns as she glares at Niel. How could she touch him like that? She had been watching them the whole time. When Changjo left her, she didn’t hesitate to follow him. A phone call broke her attention from the two and answers it, turning away to leave. She already did her purpose of visit and she couldn’t do anything more but to go back home.

Niel turned his head and sees Haemi leave.

“Good. She’s gone.”

“Who’s gone?” Changjo finally recovered and looks behind him.

“Haemi was watching us.” Niel yawns and stretches his hands up.

“She’s here?”

“Chill. She already left.” Niel grins and ruffles Changjo’s hair.

“I didn’t know you’re really great at acting, Changjo.” Niel let out a soft chuckle, praising the other male.

Changjo only stared at Niel.

“Of course I am.” He coughs and looks away to the field. How could he let Niel trick him with his words and tears? Damn. I have to stop trusting Niel’s words so easily.

“And what’s with the ‘Tell me you love me’ line?” Changjo teased and turns his head to look back at his hyung. A mischievous smile appeared on his lips as he poke Niel’s sides.

Niel blushed in embarrassment and lightly punches Changjo’s arms.

“I couldn’t think of anything! I was carried away!” He excused, turning deep red. Changjo laughed at this and continues teasing his hyung.

“Tell me you love me.” Changjo kept on repeating and smirks.

When Niel made sure Haemi had already left the building, he pulled Changjo to the men’s locker room to meet with the rest of Teen Top.

Niel entered with Changjo cautiously following behind before locking the door.

“You sure it’s clear outside?” L.Joe asked as he took steps closer to them. Changjo nodded and fixed his bangs, pulling it to his sides. Chunji let out a relieved sigh and plops down on the floor.

“That was really close.” He exhales.

L.Joe couldn’t agree more with Chunji. He took a magazine from his locker and flips on a certain page. He had been reading this one article and he knows he has to show it to Changjo.

CAP was looking at Niel up and down. Niel noticed CAP’s stare and he felt uncomfortable.

“Hyung, you should stop staring. I’m not a girl.” Niel waved his hand in the air before going to his locker to get his pants back.

CAP moved his eyes to Niel’s slim legs.

“You sure you’re not a girl?” CAP blurted out as he continues to stare at Niel.

Niel choked and looked at CAP with round eyes.

“Want proof?!” He challenged.

“Oho. Sure, babe. Gimme what you got.” He grinned, rubbing his hands together.

Changjo threw the magazine L.Joe was reading towards CAP. L.Joe was surprised when the magazine was stolen from his hand. He looked at the magazine now lying on the floor with a blank expression.

“Stop it. You’re creepy.” Changjo commented towards CAP.

L.Joe lightly punched Changjo’s shoulder and glares at him.

“I was going to show you something. Get that magazine back.” L.Joe ordered.

Changjo only blinked at him but followed what he was told.

Niel just shook his head and pulled his pants from his locker before wearing it, ignoring CAP’s burning stare.

“GUYS. THE WITCH HAD ALREADY LEFT.” Ricky came barging in from the door. Everyone jumped in surprise at Ricky’s loud voice.

Niel looked at him in shock, still in the middle of wearing his pants back.

“How did you get in?!” He asked.

Ricky blinked at him and points at the door, unsure now.

“Uhm. From the door?”

Niel glanced at Changjo and points an accusing finger at him.

“I thought you locked it!”

Changjo ignored him as L.Joe shows him the article he was saying.

‘A star is born: Kim Hae Mi’

Changjo moved his eyes to read what is written on the article. He couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows in disapproval. How is she suddenly a model? No one has ever mentioned this about him. It’s not that he cared, he was just taken by surprise, making the situation much harder for him to deny the deal his father had with the Kims.

“It didn’t mention anything about her getting engaged.” L.Joe pointed out as he cross his arms.

Changjo nodded and thought about it. L.Joe’s right. It didn’t say anything about her personal status.

“We’re good. As long as this doesn’t come out to the media.” L.Joe continued and glanced at Niel.

“You two should be careful now.” He advised as he kept his eyes on Niel who started to have a cute fight with Ricky.

Ricky was stopping Niel from removing his wig and skirt.

“What do you want?” Changjo rolls his eyes as he looks at Haemi.

“If I can’t be with you… then can I be a friend at least?” She asked with a pout, playing with her fingers. Changjo stared at her suspiciously. What is she up to now?
