She woke up as the sunlight shine upon her, opening her eyes to see him smiling over her, practically watching her, instinctively she drags the blanket to cover her vulnerable state, a little silly since what has happened last night.

The morning after, now she understand the meaning of it, it’s not her first time spending her night at his house, but this time it was special isn’t it?

She blushed at the thought of what happened last night, “morning” she greeted him, still hiding under the blanket.

She looks glorious, like a goddess, although for now only her eyes and the rest of the top of her head was visible to him, the rest is hiding nicely under the blanket. Her big eyes, blinking away while looking at him, as he could never loves her more than before, he loves her even more today.

“Morning.’ He replies to her greeting, edging closer to give her the morning kiss, but she stops him, her face are now redder than before. He laughs over her silly act, but he also understands her. Ignoring her protest, he looms over her and kisses her forehead, asking for her to get ready since he has prepared breakfast.

She merely nods her head in reply.

She waited for him to actually get out from the room and to give her the space for her to get ready. But he stays in the room, fussing over some stuffs here and there, she blushes even more when she watches him picking up every pieces of his and her clothing that is scattered all over the floor, almost let out a shriek when she saw her undergarments tucked neatly under his hand. Rushing over with the blanket as her cover, she snatched it away, quickly hiding it under the blanket.

Her behaviour amuses him, after last night, she is back being this shy girl, as a matter of a fact he thinks she has become even more shy around him than before.

As she is no longer hiding under the blanket, he can clearly see the blush on her face, the crimson tint of her ears, and how she tried her best not to look or glance at him, fidgeting with her feet as her hands were busy doing something else apparently.

He chuckled as he pulls her into his embrace, her eyes opened wider than before, shocked at his bold gesture. Fishing her left hand that was hiding under the blanket, he held it up to her face, the glint of the stone, twinkling in front of her eyes.

Realizing what he is trying to tell her, she smiles and buries her face in his broad chest, they are engaged now, she finally remembers, smiling over the memory, she looks up to him and kisses him.

He laughs and releases her from his embrace, frowned when she asks him to leave, using the excuse of the need for her to get dressed.

After he has seen every single part of her already and vice versa, why this sudden modesty, he quipped and actually told her that, only to be pinched hard by her before she shoved him out of the room and closing the door in front of him.

She smiles at his silly act, and she blushed at his naughty words. Resting against the door, she raises and studies her left hand once more; the ring glitters, sparkles, shining its beautiful and wonderful radiance. It was simple and nothing fancy but it was everything for her, this lovely band is the most precious one for her, a creation from him to her, a sign that symbolizes the next step of life that they are about to embark soon.

She smiles at that thought.
