Forget me Not
"I lied."
"What? I don't get it." Again, he confused me.
"About the amnesia thing... I lied about it. I never really forgot about you. And I still love you." His last sentence made me speechless.
Why did he have to pretend that he forgot about me if he still loves me? Then what about the car accident? It was all made up?
"So... what about the car accident that Sandeul oppa told me?"
"To be honest, he helped me. I don't know why, though. Maybe it's because he likes you, but it was before."
"Before?"
"Last night, he said at our talk that he don't like you anymore. I'm sure that you heard about the fact that he likes you when you were pretending to be asleep. Am I right?" Chansik grinned.
I sighed. "As always, you're a psychic." He smiled.
"So, the car accident was made up?" I asked again.
He winked. "Exactly."
"So here's my last question." I closed my eyes before I continued.
"Why do you have to pretend that you forgot about me if you still love me?"
Chansik avoided my gaze. He didn't talk, he kept quiet.
I was beginning to tear up again. I don't want to cry again, but it's my last question, and he can't answer it. Why?
"B-because... I was afraid. That you don't love me anymore, considering that you didn't even look for me." He reasoned. "But when you told me about the thing that you became a trainee right after you were scouted, I regretted what I did. I knew that I should tell you the truth, but I'm scared." I can see tears forming in his eyes. Aish, he's such a crybaby.
I patted his back, and took the keychain that I got last month from the guy who dropped it. "This is yours, right?"
He looked at the keychain and almost immediately, he snatched it from my hand. "Where did you find it?"
"Well, I was walking last month when someone bumped to me, then I saw this when he left. You were wearing a hoodie back then." I explained. He seemed to get it.
"It looks like it wants you to get it back from me somehow." He smiled.
"Looks like it." I giggled. I remember about the pendant, and I took it from my other pocket.
"Here. This is yours." I gave it back to him.
His eyes were really big when he looked at me. "So, this means..." He gave me back the keychain.
"I love you too." I smiled as I kissed him in the cheek and hugged him.
A month has passed. B1A4 started their promotions for What's Happening. I was there at their every performance, since my teacher know about our relationship. They allowed me to watch every show, but I have to practice overtime. I accepted it.
As for me, I'm still a trainee. I don't expect myself to debut soon. I'm still working hard to improve my skills.
"We're back!" B1A4 shouted as they got back from their recording at Inkigayo. I saw Chansik approaching me, but I pretended that I didn't notice.
"I saw you look at me. Don't pretend~" He whispered at me. I immediately turned around and I was surprised when he kissed me at the cheek.
"Get a room!" Sandeul oppa shouted. The rest of the B1A4 members and I laughed.
"Saranghaeyo." I faced Chansik.
"Nado." He smiled at me as we walked inside the vocal training room together.
