It’s been a week since the last time he talked with Seohyun, whenever they met Seohyun always keep one's distance from him and build these tall towers of them. he and Yoona had barely seen each other; their days was always starts with a simple greeting and ended up with Yoona’s babbled telling him how happy she was with Kyuhyun around, but no responds nor replies as if she was talking to a lifeless body and Kyuhyun always had his trustworthy fake-reasons to get away from Yoona. and yeah Kyuhyun had been looked woozy and rumpled, as if he's a living dead since last week. how ugly could it be? Each day that week, Kyuhyun had dressed in his plain rumpled t-shirt with super messy brown hair, gone to school—late of course, skip classes, come home, watched some TV, eaten dinner, watched some more TV, had a wild time at Eunhyuk’s suite, drinking beers until he’d pass out and gone to sleep. This has been ongoing for the past week
Instead of get ready for school, Kyuhyun flopped himself down on the bed
“hey, aren’t you going to school?” Eunhyuk asked
“I don’t feel like going today” he answered simply “even if I go, still I would skip classes and ended up here”
“you really are in a terrible dilemma huh? You’ve been like a zombie”
“shut the off and get going” Kyuhyun threw the pillow right towards Eunhyuk’s precious face
“aish... that sleepy head” he said and ready to leave “ah… just for your information before I go, you mentioned her name again when you're drunk, twice? Three times? I think more”
“just get out!” Eunhyuk walked out, driven out from his own place
Last night at the party, when most of the boy had gotten drunk after drinking so many beers, he started a drinking game, everyone stood in a circle and Kyuhyun stood in the middle atop the cold, hard granite countertop. Kyuhyun taken his shirt off and had a goofy, y dance when he claimed himself as the winner of the best drinker among them “Seohyun-ah… I love you” was his victory speech. Since everyone had gotten drunk, no one really noticed his words
Is it possible to love two precious girls at the same time?
That's the unbidden moral dilemma that befuddles him.
She could never love him
That is what she tells herself every time they meet at school, or when they have brunch with the others
The only thing is, when she’s not with him, she think about him constantly and miss him terribly. Somehow, no matter how busy she was, she wasn't totally able to shove him on her mind.
then maybe she might love him just a little.
Because you know you're in love when every time you close your eyes, you see that special someone
“How stupid is it that a girl has to wait for a guy's call anyway, right?” Yoona wondered, she had looking at her phone screen for almost an hour now waiting for a call
Hey Kyu, where are you? I miss you
Call me please
Love, Yoona.
She sends the same message for the umpteenth time, but there was no answer. They hadn't talked since three days. No calls, no messages, no words, he just simply vanished like froth
“If a guy doesn't call you, he doesn't want to call you” Jessica said when they were in their classroom this morning. But Kyuhyun not didn’t want to call her, didn’t he?
Yoona was silently spending her time alone on the swing at a playground they used to spend their time together when they were kids, she trying to refresh herself with the wind breeze, but she stopped swinging when she felt someone staring at her silently. she craned her necks to the left to see who he was. He stared at her. Standing still there in his position. Looking at her
“Donghae? What are you doing back here?”
“I could ask you the same thing, what are you doing sitting here all by yourself?” Donghae asked. Yoona inhaled deeply, quelling her almost fall tears, and smiled
“well, I’m glad you’re here. Kyuhyun ditched me and now I’m all alone” she said jokingly in a sad tone
No answered. he walked closer, sat down in the swing beside her
“So what are you doing here?” Yoona asked
“Oh, I just wanted to see how you were. You seemed kind of spacing out in this day and age”
“and how did you know I’m here?” Yoona asked
“Yeah, like you have somewhere else to go” she smiled up at Donghae
“you know me too well, I even can’t hide from you” and it made him smile
“well, I used to know you so well, but not for now I think "
“Why? I'm still me, nothing changed” she replied “I guess” she changed her tune almost a whisper
“then where did the cheerful Yoona go? I don't see it in you now”
“yeah… I was so happy back then and now I'm depressed” she blurted out “I changed a lot, I'm not who I used...” she said in a jokingly tone, but Donghae know she meant it
“…she is my best friend, and I love her. we go everywhere together, in fact it would be easier if we were attached at the hip. And you know how much I missed her when she wasn't around? It was so hard for me with she gone this past year. But then I think… it soon became apparent how much easier it was to shine without her around. And now she’s back, and everything would go back to the way it was before she left. She’ll be the prettiest, the smartest, the hippest, most happening girl in the entire school. She became the one everyone looked to, like she always had. And now I'm just going to be her hanger-on the way I always been”
“I hate the fact that she's so beautiful, lucky, perfect or what-so-ever everyone would call her. I envy her, a lot, but she’s my best friend and I hate myself for envying her and it's killing me because I feel so wrong doing so”
