Yoona propped her pillows against the headboard of her bed and wriggled under her comforter. She rested her head against the pillows and closed her eyes. a single tear began to fall from underneath her closed lids. She picked up a pillow and dabbed it against her cheeks to ebb the flow. She was peeved by her own silly act
“argh… I’m such an idiot. stupid!” she shouted, wiped her runny nose on a pillow, and threw it across the room
Instead of feeling at ease and crying happy tears by the love she just got from Kyuhyun, she’s burst into tears. Was Yoona crying because she felt so dumb, almost losing the most treasured thing; her ity on such dumbest way? Was Yoona crying because she’s fed-up by her life of being the forever-special girl? Or was Yoona crying because she feels he’s not that into her anymore?
So the question is he still wants her?
“Seohyun is really back huh? I wonder does she still all the same? I mean she was smart, she had a great personality. she was able to carry on the most boys’ intellectual conversations and the absolute dumbest ones, as well. She was nice and not dress like a yet she can still showed her beauty. And she love sports thing girls hate the most. She was like, the coolest chick in the entire world. And she had all things every boys want in her. And I’m very sure she still is”
“Did you see the way Changmin, Donghae even Kyuhyun and every pair of eyes staring at her? I'm really scared now, what if she steal every boy’s heart like she always did. Ugh ... I'm going to be solo for the rest of my life. She’s so know-how to attracted the boys”
“and I’m sure, sooner or later Kyuhyun, too will dumped you and turn away. You’re not pretty enough to keep pace with her, she’s way prettier than you”
“Just kidding!”
“but Yoona, be careful… I just wanted to warn you so you could prepare for whatever happens”
Just like the total frenemy would do, that was what Jessica said to her on Seohyun’s comeback day. she was acting like a total . She’s a master at backbite and the art of backhanded compliments. One thing to take note, she’s a total frenemy
They stay still, sitting side to side under a shady tree. silence, their eyes never meet each other since their last greeting. his mind racing. Kyuhyun knew Yoona was disappointed that he was leaving, but he seems like didn’t care. That’s right, he’s a boy, he’d been waiting long enough for this moment, he wanted her too, but he just can’t shove Seohyun face out of his mind.
He wondered if he’d just gone ahead and had with Yoona will his heart firmly still on Yoona or it'll sturgled and turned to Seohyun instead.
He wondered if he kissed Seohyun right now, full on the lips, how she’d respond, how would his heart respond.
He wondered if he ever never had dating Yoona and learn about his true feeling long way back, will his heart choose Seohyun, will they ends up together?
Her heart was beating its unusual beat like it’ll explode any of time. She was trying, desperately to throw his shadow out of her mind, always trying stay far from him and began building tall towers of them. but she just can’t, her heart melted. everytime he smiled at her she was like blown away, and she was completely struck by the beauty of his somewhat silly smile. And in the end she would only deal with the flow.
There was a quiet, awkward pause
“Don’t you just hate awkward pauses?” Kyuhyun said break the ice, she’s just stayed at her position, no replied nor even looking at him, but out of the corner of her eye she know Kyuhyun was watching her
“can you please explain why you’re not talking to me?” Kyuhyun asked
“I’m not not talking to you” Seohyun said “See, I’m talking to you right now” she added
“yeah, barely” Kyuhyun said “what happened? What’s wrong?” Seohyun looked down at the green grass, avoiding Kyuhyun sad eyes
“I have to go” Seohyun said, rises from her seat
“fine” Kyuhyun answered
Seohyun walked away. she had that sour salty taste in the back of again, the taste of tears. She’d been holding them back for too many days now, and she could feel a tidal wave coming on. All of a sudden she would start sobbing, and she wouldn’t be able to stop and simply she didn’t want Kyuhyun saw her tears. So she just walked off before its too late
Silently Kyuhyun trailing after her slowly. Speeding up, she just ignored Kyuhyun behind. A cab pulled up, Kyuhyun held the cab door open for her, she was about to slid into the back seat when he stopping her and pulled her into a tight hug
“what the heck are you doing Kyu?” Seohyun struggled “get away from me” Seohyun hissed, putting her hands on his chest and shoving him away
“I miss you” he said in a distressed tone “and I lo—”
“I gotta get going” she cut him off before he going to far and say the forbidden thing; three words, eight letters, one meaning
“Seo—”
“Look, Yoona's my best friend. And you're her boyfriend. And she loves you. That's the way things are supposed to be. So please stop making all becomes complicated” she said slid into the back seat and closed the door
“!” he groaned
As the cab pulled away, Seohyun hugged herself, staring straight ahead through the windshield then she sat back in the seat and closed her eyes.
How do she describe the feeling that envelopes her being when he is near? It is like a cocoon of warmth and peace, but beneath that there is a deep longing, a hunger that one kiss would not be able to satisfy, one kiss would only make the hunger greater. But oh, how she long for that kiss, a kiss that might never come.
Being close to him does things to her, makes her feel things she never knew existed, makes her want things she have never wanted before. There is a part of her that’s want him so bad, while the rest of her knows it’s wrong for her to desire him in such a way. She realized it, she’s just in love with the wrong person. she love someone that she probably won't ever be able to be with.
One question, is it a sin to fall in love with someone who's already taken?
One said; It is not a sin to love someone who is already taken. It becomes a sin when you take action on your feelings.
Another said; to love him in silence would be noble to act upon your feelings would be a sin.
The greatest pain that comes with love is loving someone you can't have.
